Everybody we have had to deal with has been wonderful at Atria Shaker. They are fairly competitively priced and to me it's worth it. Dad is used to walking around and there aren't any sidewalks outside. I wish there was a track or something he could get out and walk around. The staff are really good about following up with him. I just wish there was a closer location to me, it's about an hour drive. All in all things are going well at this facility.

My friends just moved in a week ago. So far, employees have been very helpful and pleasant. Food is good and plentiful. Always snacks around if you miss a regular meal. Pretty location and buildings nicely kept. They seem to work at having a variety of activities for residents.

Atria Delmar Place didn't really fit my loved one's activity level since she was in better shape overall compared to most other residents, so the activities offered were not really sufficient. I was told the food is a bit skimpy, so not much servings, but the food itself was good.

Overall, It has been a pretty good experience at the Atria Delmar Place. We have only been here for about a month. The facility is clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. So far so good.

We toured this community and it was very good, I liked it a lot. It was cheaper than other communities in the area, but offered the same services and care for my loved one. It is my favorite so far, out of all the senior care communities I have seen.

I think she is quite happy there. It's immaculate, and she is very happy with the staff. Most often she enjoys the food, but the coffee is terrible. She is happier even than she was when she lived with me.

They had quite an extensive array of care services, and would be good options for those looking for an age-in-place solution. Unfortunately, at the time of our search they did not have any availability for the size of room we were looking for.

Overall our experience with Atria Delmar Place has been a good one. The staff here are friendly, professional, and seem to take great care of the people who live here. It is a very nice looking community, and they do a great job keeping everything looking well kept and clean. The only real complaint we have is that since we needed to move our loved ones in during Thanksgiving weekend things did not go very smoothly. They were understaffed and very busy due to it being a holiday weekend, and we didn't get much help or direction through that process.

They are a memory care unit, but when they need more care that they can provide they would have to move her to a nursing home. They have a community shower, which isn't our favorite aspect.

The woman I spoke with was very focused and quite knowledgeable.

We thought that was nice. It was probably the best value of all the ones we looked at. The rooms were nice and the price was significantly lower that some other location. That probably has a lot to do with supply and demand in the area. The people that runt these things make a huge difference and they seemed good here.

Toured the community. Immediately felt this is the place for Dad.

They've been fairly easy to work with, and they're pretty responsive. I would say they're not perfect. They do drop the ball a lot on small details like getting my loved one ready for appointments and making sure she's clean and nails groomed. She's certainly not being neglected though. The facility is very nice. For the amount of money that it costs, it's not outlandish relative to their competition, but I wish they were more transparent from the start about what services are available on site vs what appointments and services we would have to utilize off site. We did have to make a quick transition to move in, and they definitely helped accommodate us. From a business standpoint, the seem pretty semi-organized.

We chose Atria Delmar Place because they had availability when we needed it quickly. It is also a very nice facility and the woman at the time who was giving us the tour was really great. The room sizes here small compared to some others we saw. They said they food was good, but they had to wait a very long time to get it delivered which was frustrating. They also said the portion sizes were small. The best part about the community was the staff members, they were very friendly and they went above and beyond for my parents. I would recommend.

Nice facility. Friendly staff. Good value for price. After loved one is there the services and commitment seemed to slip a bit. Sometimes tough to get a return phone call or face to face.
