The care aids and the pharmacy technicians are very caring lovely people who do a good job.

My Mom has only been there a short time. It's been a big transition for her big but so far the staff has been positive, supportive , caring. There are many activities throughout the day that are well done and well attended. The meals are varied and my Mom has enjoyed them all. I don't have any experience at any other dementia care facility but so far Peregrine has provided all that was promised.

Facility and staff are wonderful. The place is very bright and cheerful which was a huge factor when we were choosing a place for my mother. Plenty of daily activities to be involved in. Sadly the case manager who left two months ago kept me apprised about my Mom and always answered my texts and emails immediately as I live in Maine. There does seem to be a bit of a turnaround lately with staff but I think it's just the way the job market is currently going.

The care varies by individuals. They need more varieties of fruits and vegetables.

overall I would give most of the staff a 5, especially [name removed], [name removed] and the case worker, can't think of her name now. they helped me out when things were not going so smoothly. The food would get a 3. The therapy and activities would get a 5. it was 90 percent better than the Cottages.

The majority of the staff is kind and supportive to the residents. They provide a variety of activities and outings. After a smooth intake, we have had some difficulty with the responsiveness of the billing department.

So far things have been pretty great. The only thing I would say is sometimes communication is not always the best. But we are very pleased with the care and facilities so far.

The freedom she would have-not as many locked doors as other properties, the chapel, and the daily activities scheduled. Also liked that meals were prepared on premises.

Very clean, responsive, and staff truly seems to try to take an individual interest in residents. We are happy with the placement but remain sad she had to be placed. So, the whole experience is very conflicted, no fault of Peregrine.

Overall great facility, there has been some staffing issues and my family member's biggest complaint has been the food. They were very great with the transition into ASL.

What I like the most about the community is all of the above and yes I would recommend Peregrine Crossgate to other families.

The staff is wonderful. Very caring. They make the facility feel like home for my mother. If there is an issue, they are very open and communicate quickly. The only real complaint from my mother is the food isn't the greatest.

The staff at Peregrine Shaker are wonderful. They are very attentive to the residents and appear to accommodate them quite well. They know the residents by name and engage with them constantly. There are many daily activities and they encourage the residents to participate. The food is fine, similar to a college dining hall. There are a few misses periodically, but overall, it's very good There are many options at each meal, and a well-stocked lounge with fruit, juices, milk and treats. My Mom is pretty happy there!

All staff are so extremely helpful. Everything has been wonderful.

Building is very clean and kept up. Maintenance service is accessible. Apartments, while not extremely large, are comfortable for one person. Staff are mostly friendly but, as with many other places, are overworked. Aide service is sketchy as with dining room staff. Food is adequate. Very pleasant patio in between buildings with a gazebo available for residents use

All the staff was friendly and helpful, but the care staff was amazing and went above and beyond for mom. Peregrine was great and I'd highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, my mother did not get to experience the full benefits that Peregrine had to offer. Her condition rapidly deteriorated from Level 1 to Level 5, and then beyond to a point, the staff could not care for her. The staff worked with us to transition her to an acute rehabilitation / long-term care facility with the hopes of returning to Peregrine upon her recovery, however Mom did not recover. She passed a few days after admission to the rehab. My only doubt or criticism would be that I believe Mom's intake interview and evaluation were too ambitious.

I feel their problem is not unusual at Peregrines. Staffing is always short-handed. All the staff pitch in and make up for where they are needed. Office staff in the dining room. The staff that works there are so friendly and helpful. The food is not so hot as I am told but they do have soup and sandwiches if you don't like what they are serving. They are always short staffed in the dining area. The activities outings or field trips are limited on transportation especially for wheel chair availability. I think one per trip in the bus. There is always Bingo or something going on in the activities room. They host parties for holidays and they are amazing! Mother's Day tea is just perfect. I cannot say anything bad. If you asked me in general, I would say we really like it there and my mom is happy and well cared for. It took the weight off of my shoulders.

We have peace of mind that our Mom is being well taken care of and treated well. Nursing staff is wonderful and very attentive to mom's needs. Dr. appointments are made whenever necessary or when requested if mom or staff has any health concerns. The aids assigned to mom help her with shower and getting dressed when needed. Very much appreciated. Housekeeping is very attentive as well with mom's laundry and cleanliness of her apartment. She is very happy with that. We always say to our friends that ask how mom is doing there that "she's running the ship over there"!??. She truly is happy where she is. The entire facility is clean and well kept. My mom is very happy at this Perigrine location and has made many new friends and plenty have been with the staff.
