My husband and I toured a good number of facilities before deciding to move to Town Village of Leawood, KS. We've been here almost a month and each step along the way has convinced us that our choice was the right one. The residence itself is meticulously maintained, but more important than that is the way residents are encouraged to live their best lives. There are activities of every kind available. The food is very good and it's balanced. The staff is kind and amazingly helpful. There is an emphasis on aging in place and programs to help make that possible. Most telling of all is looking around and seeing smiles everywhere!

They have treated my Dad with love, care and compassion. He is 96 years old and is set in his ways. Is this place perfect no, but what place is. For the most part they have made sure he has people to talk to, care because he is wheelchair bound and now had wounds. Hospice that they recommended has been wonderful and I just get that they truly care. He really is happier there than what I could do for him.

It has been a blessing for my mom. I wish that I would have helped her move sooner. She is so happy in her new home!

My 85 yr old father lived at Brookdale North Richland Hills for approximately three months before losing his battle with cancer. During this time he enjoyed the meals, the beautiful spacious facility and the friendly, caring and professional staff. They elevated the level of his health care as his condition required and kept me informed of any changes or needs that had developed. During his stay he enjoyed the activities, the beautiful well kept grounds, and all the amenities of home except with a supportive cast of health care, cleaning, and maintenance personnel I would highly recommend this facility for any assisted living needs

We love this community for our mom. She came here after SNF and a stroke. We were nervous, but Brookdale home was exactly what we needed. The ala carte aid services were perfect while she regained her stamina and independence. I love that it has varying levels of seniors there as well. This kind of pushes the less independent to become more independent. The staff is also incredibly helpful and kind. The grounds are vast and lovely. I wish they had a more updated generator for storms, as our moms on oxygen. But I’m sure they will be fixing that after this past storm. Thank you to A Place For Mom for helping us.

The facility is great for anyone who might be wanting independent living with lots of community engagement. The open layouts make using a walker safe and easy.

I would share with them that the staff are phenomenal people who truly care about the residents. They were never upset when I would call and ask them to check my Aunt's phone because I could not reach her.

My parents are excited to be new residents at Solana. They are very happy with how helpful and friendly the staff and other residents have been. They are looking forward to getting involved in some of the many activities that are offered to the residents. Their apartment is perfect for them. I am very pleased that they made the move to Solana.

He did not want to engage in any of the activities; but, I was there everyday and the activity director was either conducting daily activities or creating new activities. Many were themed around holidays, seasonal etc. The Legacy Town Square is the only facility I would recommend. As soon as I entered the front door. I knew I had finally found the right fit for us. They employ only the best. They took exceptional care of my husband. I left every evening knowing he would be well cared for. The meals are great, plenty of activities, and friendly staff. All rooms are private and cleaned weekly. For anyone looking to place their loved one in assisted living, I would not waste my time touring other facilities.

I would tell a friend that, my finicky, wishy-washy, persnickety father LOVES the places AND actually eats the food, so it is a WIN/WIN! And that I would recommend it for anyone concerned about having a safe, secure, comfortable, thriving communal senior environment for their aging parent.

When My Wife and I first came here nearly 8 years ago, we discovered a happy and friendly scenario. Caretakers were so helpful. Information was transmitted quietly and quickly that we needed to adjust to our new home. The directors have been excellent and the present one is superb. We have been given health options and assistance when needed. Our SECURITY IS SOLID! Our ACTIVITIES ARE NUMEROUS AND LOTS OF FUN. I would recommend anyone to come here, regardless of health conditions and needs.

Mom has dementia and it's getting progressively worse. At one point even with help eight hours a day it got to where I was not able to get more than an hour or two of sleep many nights. We found NorthPoint thanks to A place for mom, and they have trained certified staff there with contracts in place to handle things if they are short staffed in an emergency. The staff to resident ratio is 2 people per 12 residents, and there are additional people who float where the greatest needs are. The environment is very good in the memory care units, with 3 distinct cottages each with 12 people. I have been visiting at least once a week for a couple hours and I am always impressed by how well the residents are treated by the caregivers. There's a room with a big screen TV where various shows can be watched, each resident has their own room, and there's good security at the entrance. Parking is readily available and the caregivers reach out to me whenever there's a question or concern. Great place

Our dad spent his final 23 months at Brookdale. He entered as a grumpy old man who didn't want to participate in any events. The staff and other residents gradually won him over, and he was attending game times, Bible study, happy hour, and special veteran's roundtable events. His apartment was spacious, he loved the daily options in the dining room, and the food was very good. The common areas were inviting, clean and seasonally decorated. The nursing staff was excellent, especially during his last 7 weeks on hospice. The Executive Director is fabulous. He genuinely cares for his residents and staff. He is a great gatekeeper, protecting his residents from harm. He took care of a situation with dad as if it was his own father. I am so pleased the Lord led us to Brookdale for our dad. They were such a blessing to him and us.

My loved one is currently a resident at Glenwood Village of Overland Park and the experience at this facility has been great for her so far. We have found a place that is safe, affordable and that has a positive environment. Based on our experience, I would recommend Glenwood Village of Overland Park to others.

Best choice I could have made. Can not believe any place can top this place in any way. Beautiful inside and out. Food is wonderful and so many options and variety. Staff and residents are so professional and friendly. Activities consist of everything under the sun. Transportation is so accommodating. I could not be happier in my new home.

I cannot recommend Brookdale Emerald Hills highly enough! The care provided to residents is outstanding. The staff members are compassionate and truly care about the well-being of the residents. The director and nurses go above and beyond to ensure that each resident feels valued, respected, and well taken care of. The dining experience at Brookdale is second to none. The chefs are talented and the dining staff provide excellent service with a smile. My dad often raved about the quality of the soups and pizza, and how nice the dining staff was at honoring his requests. Entertainment and activities are plentiful. My dad enjoyed the Jeopardy games multiple times per week. Happy Hour and Bible studies were a highlight of his week. Overall, our experience with our Dad living here was wonderful. He lived his final 2 years there and our family is so thankful for the care he received. If you're looking for an assisted living facility that feels like home, look no further than this place.

Beautiful surroundings, helpful staff, consistent food quality. A good variety of activities and outings for fun and transportation for practical needs. Living here has been such a huge improvement over the facility we moved out of it's like night and day. For the amenities, comfort, meals and staff the price is a good value compared to other places we visited and looked into. Our only issue as of late is a malfunctioning elevator which can make getting around the building harder but staff has helped with accommodations like meal delivery and communication about repair plans.

From the first visit through to the day I, unfortunately, had to move my husband out, the people at Solana Vintage Park have been amazingly helpful and friendly. During the tour and throughout the move-in process, I was provided with information about Solana and Brookdale that proved to be very helpful. Everyone from the director to the receptionist to the medical staff to the caregiving staff were all friendly and available to assist any time. I especially appreciated the Caregiver Support Group and the director of the Clare Bridge memory care unit explaining various aspects of dealing with dementia. The lovely surroundings, outdoor patio, activities, outings, live entertainment, and caring staff provided a wonderful quality of life for my husband. Unfortunately, he eventually needed a level of care they do not provide and we had to find another facility. Once again, the staff at Solana were helpful and quick to respond when I had questions about our move.

We loved Brookdale Clear Lake. My husband and I talked about making it a retirement plan for us... but not in Houston. I saw multiple locations throughout the United States and saw that there was one in Asheville and we were thinking that would be a great place to go. But as far as recommending, I already have to several people because we've loved the staff and we loved how awesome they were when we would go into the dining room and eat and just how friendly everyone was and making sure that mom was okay.
