My loved one likes it here. The staff is nice and caring and also are the other residents. They dont have to many activities though should be more. It seems to be going okay so far. I dont have anything to complain about just the activities.

We loved Longwood Manor too. My children are excited about the possibility of their gramdma moving her because of its pet friendliness atmosphere and various activities they can do with her such as baking & playing family bingo. This place is my top pick because it is privately owned.

Our loved one has only been there for 2 weeks. So far things are settling in.

It is good for someone that just needs assisted living, not for anyone who needs more than that. They are understaffed, they promise you the world, and it's just not there. For example, several times my grandmother has used her emergency alert because she had to go to the bathroom, 40 minutes later they still hadn't come, and she peed all over herself. They said they would feed her if needed, and that hasn't happened, and she gets upset When she needed aspirin it took 40 minutes for someone to even come to her room.

It's very clean, and the staff is very friendly. The food varies depending on personal taste, but the residents can ask for other things if they don't like what's on the menu. The meal times are not flexible, they are on a certain schedule. They have responded to some requests to offer things that my loved one likes. They have a good variety of food, and they rotate the menus on a five week cycle. I see some issues in communicating with family, figuring out who to talk to, for which issues can be challenging. Everyone on the staff pitches in when needed, but the staff is a little over worked, and I think the weekends are a little more under-staffed. We liked the options that were available for the rooms here. They had a couple of different layouts.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, the staff all seemed very friendly, and the community was clean and well kept. This was one of our favorites that we toured, and would have been our second choice.

It's pretty clean, and the staff is mostly friendly. The response time, to concerns and requests could be improved. There could be a little more variety in the menu, and sometimes the food is a little, mushy, I hear.

It’s a very nice location. I like the facility. They need more staff, but everyone is very friendly. It’s hard to judge the value of cost, but I’m told it’s a comparable value. I’d like them to do more activities. If you can bring your loved one to the community first, meet the head nurse and the chef. Take advantage of opportunities to stay if offered. The food is a little bland, but okay.

They don't do custom meals for the clients needs. I chose this community because it was recommended and the cleanliness of it. Kind of expensive. Lots of activities.

This was nice and it was newer than Amerisist, a little brighter. The problem I had with them was with my mom, it had two floors with stairs and that was a concern.

This location was also excellent. I like the idea of sister facilities. I was told that if accessments in Va was done here I/my father would not have to be re-accessed in CA. very clean structure facilty activities all day. lookin for share suites very much in my fathers price range. I am waiting until next month to visit sister facilities in CA before decesitons are made

This was the favorite of the communities we visited. Staff was friendly, appeared to be a lot of activities going on and a lot of interaction between residents. Cost is considerably higher for Levels of Care than other two facilites we visited. Rooms were good size.

Liked what we saw room sizes were great. Big facility could be a little overwhelming.

Nice facility, caring staff. If we need assisted living (rather than independent) this is my first choice.

We were able to take a tour of this facility and we liked it the best so far.

New mangaement has been put in place over the past six months. Almost all positions of leadership were changed, including the Dining room. The food has greatly improved. The facility has been completly remodeled as well.

Staffing on some shifts were better than others. Sometimes seemed short staffed while others were better. Always remember the facility is not a hospital even though they can provide a lot of personal care.

It was very nice experience overall. My mom seemed to enjoy herself. My only issue was the fact that I couldn't bring her medications in myself. I had to go through their Omnicare, which I found to be extremely more expensive than CVS, where I was getting them before.

This was a nice facility. We did a virtual tour so it was kind of hard to get a feel for everything but it was nice.
