Paramount Senior Living

I would recommend this community. I have seen my friends parents be in other communities. This isn't like having your loved on being at home. The room was very nice, and you had to provide your own furniture. The staff was friendly. I went there to see my loved one once or twice a day. The only promise they didn't keep was the routine for my father, but I would have to help my loved one on specific needs. This seems to be similar in other communities.

Paramount Senior Living is a tad more on the expensive side, they do seem to have a good amount of activities for the residents to participate in. What stood out to us when we first were vising was that it is very clean and has a modern looking. The room our loved one is currently in is a nice size room, every one has their own bathroom. The food at this community is about average, our loved one complains a little bit about it but overall its pretty decent.

We chose this community because my father knew the staff and he had been in the rooms. The room sizes were very spacious. There was a nice variety of food and you could always get other options from the menu if you wanted, but it was limited as far as dietary needs. My favorite part about the community is their activities coordinator, she really tries to get all of the residents engaged and knows the folks on a personal level. I would recommend Paramount Senior Living of Peter's Township.

The day I dropped my loved on off, is the day that the community went on lock down. I wasn't able to go past the front desk. It is a friendly, professional community. My loved one is now back at home. My loved one wasn't happy there, and no reason just generally unhappy.

The rooms are appropriate size, it is a more modern looking community, very well laid out. They have a very qualified chef for the residents, the food quality is great. They do have entertainment groups come in to perform for the residents. This community is designed greatly for residents with Alzheimer's, it is very clean. It doesn't look like your typical nursing home, it looks more like a hotel especially the entrance.

It seems from the outside in it seemed to be nice. My loved one was displeased and left. The loved one felt that they their needs weren't met. There were times they felt that they were overcharged and menus weren't brought to them. The loved one finally decided to change communities. When I went to pick up my loved one's belongings they were missing $150 pair of shoes and other effects. They wrote down my loved one's death as related to COVID and they are sending bills to me for the care of my loved one.

The room sizes are nice. Paramount is a friendly community. My mother in law is there now and my mother was there before that. We like the community. They have served us well at Paramount Senior Living.

Nice. Smells like an older building. [Name removed] was great and has an excellent relationship with the residents. Most residents where not ambulatory which could be a problem for my Mom. Staff was great. Rooms were nice, bathrooms nice. Afraid my Mom would hermit in her very nice room. Not crazy about the rt 3 corridor location.

Admissions Director [(name removed)] has been great from helping us select an apt. to helping with getting settled.

Everyone has been very helpful. Especially [names removed].

Our first impression was with the staff. They were friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with size of the 1 bed room apartment. I had visited other facilities and found the rooms to be smaller. We did however experienced some poor communication and confusion about the move in. I have also had problems with bed linen changes. For some reason, our elderly friend's bed was not changed weekly as indicated. Hopefully this problem had been resolved. The facility is always clean, food is good, and the staff takes the time to talk and listen. But most important of all is that she is happy and content living there and does not even mention her old house. We fretted over the decision for some time about moving her to an Assisted Living. We did the right thing for all of us..She is safe and happy and we don't have to take care of 2 houses. Thank you

I can imagine that [name removed] is an amazing director of her community. She has an energy and honesty that is infectious. Her interaction with her residents was truly refreshing to see. The community is very nice but lacking some of the amenities that I would want for my mother.

We moved in to Inspired Living due to my wife's problems and they were the only community that had Assisted care and independent living in the same apt's. Being a new facility there are bound to be problems with the facility and should be handled over time. The assist caretakers no a very good job.

The facility was very clean and the folks we spoke with were very friendly and knowledgeable. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the rooms were and the bathrooms are great. They have 'happy hour' on Friday afternoons and regularly scheduled activities. When we were there, the residents were just sitting around, but they all looked clean and well cared for. We did speak with a lady who was caring for a memory patient (not an employee of the Paramount) and she said she never heard any complaints concerning the facility. Another reviewer mentioned the 'spark' factor--which I concur with. But, we were only there for one hour in the morning and that could have been more of a quiet time. This is also why I am giving it 4 stars--it looked very nice but we really only got to scratch the surface. It is worth it to check it out if you are searching for a facility for a loved one.

When we arrived we were greeted by the Concierge and a member of the staff who were both expecting us and greeted us by name. Our tour guide was on the phone so they made sure we were comfortable and asked if we needed anything. While we were waiting, the Executive Director came by and introduced herself. She gave us some brief information on the community while we were waiting for [name removed] to join us. [name removed] did an excellent job in asking questions to get to know my mother and was very clear in her explanation of services. we then took a tour of the different types of units they have available and they were all very nice. The community was clean and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. The community itself seemed a little older, but very well cared for and clean. We were there around lunch time and enjoyed having lunch. I don't feel I can comment on the food because we had sandwiches, but the menu sounded very good and the food looked wonderful. We also had the opportunity to meet a few of the residents, all of whom seemed happy to be there and enjoying themselves. Overall, this was a very nice community and I felt the staff and the residents helped make it that way.

Lovely facility with caring attendants. The only drawback was the need to use elevators to go to the dining room.

The staff at Brookdale has been really proactive while my loved one has been in the community. They've been great coming up with solutions for his care. I will say that when I visit, I have seen the residents involved in some activities, but that the community does not offer as many amenities as I have seen available at other places. Overall though, the community is clean, the excellent staff is very helpful, and I am pleased with the facility overall.

Initially highest price but medium price after incentives expire on highest price option. Experienced staff and a facility that cares about its residence. Room sizes vary.

So far from what I have heard from my sister's best friend, she is doing well in this community. The staff that I have spoken too have been kind, and helpful. She is safe, and in good hands overall. Everything is working out well.
