There's a special place in" HELL" for people who put their parents òr gràñdparentsin in a place like WYNDHAM LAkes. The people who run this place are interested in only one thing, and that is their bottom line. They make their money off the backs of the people who really need help. The so called caregivers treat the elderly here like they are three year Olds very disrespectful..Shame on anyone who would put someone thay care about through this kind of treatment.

Beautiful place online. $$ Maker off of resident's who are afraid to speak up for their rights. Most definitely a nursing home, not Independent Living as advertised. Shortage of "Incentives and amenities for Staff to stay". Food is a huge deal when you can get it. Dirty, unhealthy, and no heat room were ready for my move. To get worse construction going on hours and hours.

It is sad to go visit my loved one to fine someone else clothes on her, sometime the same clothes 2 to 3 days, walk in No one in buildings, or med techs on their phones, resident falling no report on how it happen, afraid to leave name, also reported to administrator that did nothing

We were not impressed. Cleanliness was ok. Care was suspect. [name removed] ended up breaking his hip at the facility about 2 weeks in and had to go to hospice care where he passed away. There was no assessment done prior to the father going in. So the day we moved him in they did an stand wanted to charge extra money. We had to get corporate involved. So the experience was poor. Do not recommend.

Elevators were not functioning, so residents did not get any meals that day. No staff to help residents in at night. Most residents complain about food. Dining room runs out of food. Delivery bus for doctors and church visits is now smaller. Rent has been raised more than discussed in initial interview.

The new owners/management don't know how to operate a senior independent living facility. Meals are not always available (not planned accordingly), the rent is raised the maximum allowable by state law and then services are curtailed (bed linen.& towels laundry), toilet paper, house cleaning. The elevators don't always work (14 story building), hot water is not always available, HVAC is spotty, no night time security. Construction noise keeps residents awake during the night. Looking for another place to move Mom to, this place is a.disaster.

Overall experience was not good at all. Staff was not good and did not seemed trained to handle dementia patients. My sister was called numerous times to assist with my mother's care. Even something as basic as trying to get her to take her medication. We moved her within a month's time to another facility.

We were warned that Pacifica was a "place to go if you want to die" and it felt that way in person. Chainlink fence around the smallest outdoor space made it feel like a bad prison. Poor lighting, small, sad, cold feeling rooms, residents looked miserable, underqualified staff. Run is all I can say.

We toured Pacifica Senior Living Rancho Penasquitos during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one and we did not like the facility. It felt like an old hospital. Definitely not what we were looking for in a facility for our loved one.

Both my In laws were residents of Pacifica. The staff is not warm or helpful. They had the unpleasant experience during they stay time. Front desk employee was rude to my mother In law most of the time when she was asking questions. Dining room servers had bad attitude. Everything was rush rush rush!! My father In law was on wheelchair. Dining room manager was making sure he wont be seeing during his eat time put him and his wife in far corner so others wont see him just because he was on wheelchair showing a lack of respect There are more incidents occurred than i can put on this review. Elders deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Pacifica should train and teach employees value of empathy, compassion and kindness. Thank you for your attention!!

My tour with Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley was terrible. I walked into their lobby. Nobody knew about our appointment. The lobby looked like it was a storage room with boxes and stuff stashed everywhere. I didn't get to have a tour because they stated they didn't know about my appointment.

All I will say is I would not suggest Meridian at Lantana to anyone - I had a very bad experience with my dad there. The nurses and the aides lack of empathy... bottom line is it was all about the profit. I moved my loved one to a different facility.

Director [name removed] is a horrible person. She keeps one caregiver for a cottage with 12 adults. She doesn’t care about elderly abuse, she doesn’t notify family members when our loves ones are hospitalized and under her care, one elderly man got lost in the streets of Clearwater, wondering around for six miles and ended up in the hospital. Another lady died at the hospital for complications resulting from a broken wrist. Another lady was bitten up by a male resident, while the caregiver was distracted on her cell. [name removed] should not be trusted with our loved ones. I called DCF and she in retaliation kicked out my elderly mother

They are not very helpful when you need things fixed in your apartment, I have been waiting 3 days for an urgent request that I put in. They do not help you - I was very sick in my apartment for over a week the nurse said she would check in on me and she never showed up to check one time. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! They ignore you. I wish I would have known that the food served here was so unhealthy and I would not have moved in. The charge you [amount removed] and then you are just stuck here.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I tried to work with management but decided it was best for Mom to leave as soon as possible. I hope that one day it will get the care, quality, staff, and nursing that one deserves. One should feel safe, cared for, respected, listened to when residing in a place like this. The building is in need constant maintenance, in need of repair, plumbing problems, the gym has outdated equipment, windows and upper decks never cleaned, and everything could use a good scrub. The landscaping is very nice and the grounds are well taken care of. There is a nice walking path, lovely outdoor seating, huge patio in the back, a top floor for events and view of the bay. Lots of potential one day.

My experience in dealing with Meridian had been an absolute nightmare. They have constant turnover in their administrative staff. There has been 3 different executive directors and two different business office managers in the nine months my dad has lived there. The current office manager is completely incompetent. She threatened to evict my father for unpaid rent, even though I have a complete record of every check I've given them, that they in fact cashed. Proving we are up to date. I tried reaching out to the corporate office numerous times. They've chosen to ignore all complaints. My father was assessed as needing assistance with bathing and medication management. Not one time has anyone ever come to his room for bathing assistance. Even after I complained to the director of nursing and the executive director about it. The med tech has handed him someone else's meds to take on two different occasions. I've called ACHA and reported Meridian for all of the reasons listed above. Please advise people of these issues so they don't put their loved ones there. Its a decision I've deeply regretted

Not organized, nobody asked [name removed} to get a shower. Nobody invited her to activities. We made hair appointment and nobody came to get her but they still charged us. They didn't explain the rules on walking outside with other residents. Not aloud to walk outside. She only stayed one week. They didn't give one penny of Community Fee. Zero.

We are pretty unhappy here. They are understaffed and it's hard to get help. They just raised my loved one's monthly fee [dollar amount removed], starting in [date removed]!! They said it was across the board for all their communities and they added to the cost of the "levels" of care rather than rent. I suppose they raised it to pay for all the pipes they had burst around Christmas time...which flooded my loved one's room, in the first few weeks after moving in. My loved one has had money stolen from their room a couple of times. We reported it, but haven't heard anything as far as a follow-up. We are looking at moving my loved one soon to another community.

They mismanaged my mom's condition and treated her as a business opportunity to make more money and not as a person. The management staff cares about how many people they can put in memory care (regardless of the need) and that's it. Memory care is double the cost of independent living and even assisted living. The care staff was average, possibly good for some. Overall a horrible place to put your parents or elderly.

My loved one is no longer at the community. Everybody was always very friendly, and listened. They were not as attentive. They advertised a lot of activities, but my loved one did not engage in any of them. The value for the money was not good. They did not always clean up well. Overall, my experience was not good.
