The office administrators are a poor group of people to run a community like this one. It has real potential but the people who run this community have tarnished the potential is currently has. The business office manager, [name removed] is extremely rude to her staff, residents and us as the families of the residents. I have brought up concerns about my moms residency and it seemed like an inconvenience for her, i had to speak to the clinical staff to feel more supported in this transition in my moms care. Her higher ups seem to let her do as she pleases regardless of who it offends. I hope to see Woodmark take a turn and handle the inner problem.

Current resident: Place is always dirty and smells. I have made several complaints about the cleanliness but it hasn’t changed. I have seen reviews that speak to the cleanliness of the place. Are you sure they are taking about West Park Senior Living. Also the residents are very rude and nosy. I don’t enjoy living here, biggest mistake of choosing this place to live in.

The idea of cottages and the secured area for residents to wander around. That there are different levels of care as needed for residents. Improvement would come if staff was more helpful in the cottages. They seem to acknowledge concerns but no effort made to correct the concerns.

All of these categories get the lowest rating I can possibly give. I have been out of there since early Sept and still haven't heard anything from management about my departure or why. Terrible staff and place to live.

Started out good but now I have concerns. [name removed] is in memory care and was just recently sent to the emergency room because he was attacked by his roommate with several injuries with the main one to his head. It should be noted that this same facility had another memory care resident escape about a month ago and ended up deceased in a retention pond, also not found till the shift change. It was in the news and I did send my concerns at that time to the Executive Director with no info yet on follow-up and risk mitigation. Is it directly related to [name removed]? No, but it provides a data point on the level of care, or lack there of, being applied, especially through the night.

- No understanding of Parkinson's care. - ED doesn't want to make waves. He will smile and say he will address your concerns and then nothing will change. - Regardless of your doctor's prescribed medication times, the med techs will distribute meds when it is convenient for them. - Staff are kind and patient for the most part. Support staff have very little training. Staffing levels are often low at critical times like bedtime and wake-up time. The only way this place makes sense is if you are fully independent and just want your meals provided.

Bixby Towers used to be a great place to live. We have had family members reside there over the last 15 years. I have witnessed the dramatic decline in amenities and lack of customer service regarding repairs since Pacifica has purchased the property. The environment is unhealthy at times with regard to temperature regulation. There is no air when it's hot or heat when it's cold. The building is old and has been under construction for the last two years. This has been a nuisance to the tenants, it would be nice to be compensated for the inconvenience of it all. The elevators are unreliable as well as ground transportation. It is sad to me to have to deal with all of the above.

It's very boring. No activities. Also, there isn't good medical care and follow up. The facility seems overwhelmed. No stimulation. The rooms are large and there's privacy but very isolating. say the facility has room for improvement. There is a great staff member that helps as an aide in the memory care but she is busy and can't spend one on one much with anyone

My mother hates the place and it has gone downhill in management, food, care. I have reported them to the state. Would not recommend Pacifica to anyone. Management is awful!

We had great hope and desire for the Meridian to be the long term answer to our Dads Assisted Living Requirements. A set of requirements that had been documented and reviewed by the Meridian Director, Business Manager, Marketing Team, and the Nursing Director. We choose the Meridian after three different visits. However it became very clear within the first few weeks of our father moving into the facility that they had just recently undergone a major staffing turnover. All the folks we met with are now gone - the new leadership team is woefully inadequate to run the large facility. They are routinely short staffed by at least 3 or 4 folks per day. This led to a significant lack of quality care and support. In the current state of operations - I don’t think the Meridian should be accepting AL or MC Patients

We moved my mom out after one month. It was a terrible experience for her. The staff didn't attend to the memory care residents. There were very confused and agitated people entering her room and it wasn't kept clean. Overall a very upsetting experience

The facility was great when I moved my parents there however in the last year it has been declining and got so bad that I moved them out almost two months ago. The service in the restaurant was horrible due to staff shortage. The food was always cold and often they would wait over 30 minutes for food. There was severe water damage early in the year destroying the hallway to the entrance to the elevators. There is very strong toxic fumes coming from it and the residents have to pass everyday just to get inside the elevators which I find indefensible to allow the residents to breath in those toxic fumes everyday!! The last straw was when I called the lobby to see if someone could help me get my stepfather off the floor because he had fallen and I was not able to get him up without assistance. They informed me that they could not help because he was in independent living apartments. That is awful!!

My brother was left in his own urine. Bed soaked with urine. List weight, due to lack of food. Very bad experience. But a place for mom was excellent. They oversold their ability to handle my brother. Families should take a look at everything to ensure they can get what they need.

Look elsewhere for memory care. Low-skilled, caring, under-supported staff, with leaders that avoid accountability (Front-desk staff are amazing though). You've been warned. Just try and call them after 5pm on a weekend or 6pm on a weekday and see how often you can get someone- for anything.

Extremely poor & overwhelming for anyone to gave to be put in & thru!! Absolutely so filthy I've only unpacked a very few things I knew where to find. The rest I refuse to expose to this filth to use !! The young gal who is the "1" & only one at this whole place has told me so many times they don't supply her with the cleaning supplies she needs & that there is absolutely no way she can do this all by herself. I went & bought her several things to clean some here & then I said forget it a the whole place from the ceiling, walls floors etc need cleaning. I just notices some of the floor is separating yesterday too but haven't told them yet. They won't fix it anyway!! It's a 1 with almost No friendliness. The 2 maintenance guys are mostly friendly & very leery to say anything for fear of retaliation. 1 of the 2 just had enough & quit last week. They don't give them hardly anything to do any repairs either !! I've had a broken toilet seat for 3 weeks now & they can't seem to come get it fixed. Least my 2nd bathroom has one that's O.K. for right now!! I don't use their quality of care as I am independent. Have heard several complaining about it though. I refuse to eat in the dining room after listening to what others have told me & that the cooks are filthy & more are needed to do the job. Plus they way way too much for meals here !! As far as activities I'm Not interested in anything they have aside from the fact the few that do attend need to be totally helped from what I've heard. I don't mix in with the folks that are there for partial nor total help as they are paying for it & this place needs to be there to help them .. not me helping them !! My rating of this place is a total - - - - - 100 & No plus to it !! The water pressure is so low it hardly comes out & absolutely none of it is Hot !! It's a total loss !! The independent area I'm in might be 1/4 full if that even !! Very sad !!

If you care about your loved one, do not take them to Pacifica. Our Mom went 21 hours without food or water in this facility. The staff was not properly trained for her care as she required. There was broken glass in the hallway for more than 5 weeks without being cleaned up, even though I brought it to their attention. Communication was terrible with both administrator [name removed] and director of nursing [name removed]. We trusted them and signed up for Hospice, and that reduced the amount of care the facility provided but of course not the fees. The shared laundry rooms were filthy and always had one machine out of order. On top of that Mom was turned into a collection agency after they could not keep her safe and we moved her out. We never received a bill and were shocked to get a letter from the collection agency for the days she did not even live there. Look elsewhere, this is not where I would send my worst enemy.

My mother lived here for almost a year. Understaffed, poorly managed in the office. Bookkeeper messed up our insurance billing so bad it took months to get straight, it was awful. Very stressful and no apology. I would not put a relative or friend here.

They need to accept, as well acknowledge their responsibility to their Seniors at Sun City Garden's, SENIOR community Foundation.

My parents moved here in July 2023 and in the beginning things were decent. Food was good, activities and services were all positive. That lasted about two months and things have gone downhill since. Massive staff turnovers. The Chef left, the menu options are minimized, they are constantly out of food options and residents are not given alternatives. Not offered a lot of fresh fruits and veggies at all. The housekeeping service is minimal, they will vacuum and wipe down the bathroom. Turn over in that areas also means there have been weeks they don't show. Also, pay for laundry and that hasn't always been done. In the recent couple months, the bathroom toilet runs constantly, they said they fixed once but still has issues. Currently having issues with no hot water and a pipe bursting causing flooding. These would all be easier issues to handle but they do not communicate with residents. If you want to know you have to ask the front desk, calls to exec dir no response

My friend lives in the independent living tower here and tells me that the elevators stop functioning often, new ones are promised by management, but never are installed. Heating has ceased in several apartments, the whole tenth floor at one time in the very recent past. Space heaters are provided, but do not adequately heat living spaces. Additional television channels have been promised after the public station KOCE was arbitrarily removed. The standard reply from management is that they are "waiting for a part". The "part" never comes. Also, an elderly black resident was told she could not enter the dining room with her motorized wheel chair when other walkers and manual wheelchairs are permitted. Said tenant has moved elsewhere. Been told others are planning that, too. Me, I would not live here. Been told Pacifica has a bad rating with Better Business Bureau.
