Since new management has come in it's clear they are in cost cutting mode. What was not good before has only gotten worse. Housekeeping was slashed to biweekly. Dumb rules. Start painting projects and never finish. List goes on and on. The food is so bad - she has all of her food delivered from the store and cooks in her kitchenette. They have cut out all off-site activities. Transport services have been cut as well.

There are issues with cleanliness in the facility. Corporate is very cheap regarding the facility. Not enough staff to keep it clean or respond to problems. Kitchen runs at the pleasure of the employees, not the residents. We wish we had chosen another facility, but moving at our age would be very difficult.

The memory care center looked more inviting than the others that we looked at that looked like hospital floors. My in-laws got a bigger room for the money as well.

I moved to the Park Lane in December of 2022. I had a Traumatic Brain Injury and needed to simplify my life as much as possible. I went for a 2 week stay and felt that I could be happy there. For a while I was optimistic, responses to issues that needed attention were timely, food was healthy and tasty and delivered in a timely manner. Most residents liked being there and felt well-taken care of. Forward 6 - 8 months things gradually changed. Requests for maintenance ignored or done in a way that did not resolve the problem, meals gradually got worse and worse until I really did not want to go to the dining room to eat. In fact, conversations during meals was mostly complaining about the quality and delivery of the food. A dinner could take an hour or more to get. I moved out after being there a year. I WOULD NOT recommend moving there or putting your loved one in this facility. I am not the only one who left, there are many empty units now.

My loved one was previously a resident at Meridian at Stone Creek and our experience was poor. My suggestion to others: make sure that they are doing all of the things that you are paying them to do to care for your loved one!

Pacifica in San Diego purchased Boxby Towers in June 2023. Faculity is no longer safe. Evacuation failures, no night person, building locked at 5:30pm. Need a FOB to get in. Numerous leaks and floods. Food is heavy on carbs. Promised vegan choices but did not get them.

- bed bug infestation - poor food quality - examples: too much salt, too much processed meats, not assistance for disabled diners at breakfast buffet so some people do without - housekeeping is minimal, no bed making - many broken air conditioners, etc

Sun City Gardens is very disorganized and has no systems in place to manage resident's care in the Memory Care unit. The management seems overwhelmed and unable to make needed changes. The Director of the facility changed 3 times within the 7 months my husband lived there. It has since changed again. ( So, 4 directors in 8 months.) The caregivers are not well trained in dealing with anyone with behaviors. At least 4 do not understand English well and 99% of the patients are English speaking. The actual physical set up of the facility is poor. Two caregivers will go in one room to clean a resident and shut the door leaving the rest of the residents to fend for themselves. I went to visit several times and was unable to find a caregiver for a half hour. The residents are on top of each other in the one Community/TV room which leads to problems, especially if there is no caregiver present. This was my first experience with a facility. I have learned a lot. Sun City Gardens was close to home and most of the staff was trying...

Currently management of facility is questionable. What you are told and what you are given are two different things. Normal safety equipment is not readily available, it can take weeks to be provided.

What they could improve overall is the cleanliness, laundry, and checking more often. I was very upset that no one called me to be with him at the end no matter what the time I have been thru this before and I know that they have an idea

We toured Kenmore Senior Living during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. They were unable to understand food allergies and were downplaying both of my loved one's needs in different ways. The salesman left a very sour taste with some of his comments.

Our family had an in person tour experience with Pacifica Senior Living and there was no way our loved one was going there, based on the experience we would not put our dog there

I'm rating the memory care unit at Park Lane. The other parts of the facility seemed better, but memory care had very little staff engagement. Lack of cleaning or maintenance, and very few activities. When we visited they showed us the beautiful amenities, described an active lifestyle and quality personalized care. The outdoor garden was very nice and they are pet friendly.

Needed a place for Mom. Settled on Pacifica at Dalton Garden, North Idaho. They are understaffed, lack moral, and not fair with the money. They billed autopay for services not performed and now it is a legal battle getting them to reimburse $800!

My loved one passed away last month, and her ring which was an heirloom went missing from her finger. Her teeth were never brushed, and I was sad to see her when the care was mediocre at best. The staff seamed to be on their phones a lot and not paying much attention.

Pacifica is not that great, but is the best Ellensburg has to offer. My dad's laundry is picked up inconsistently and he will end up missing clothes and being given clothes that are not his. There are very few snacks and not much variety in meals or snacks. This is not what was advertised when we did our tour. I have checked out other places in WA and AZ and they offer more for less. Pay employees better so they don't have such a high turnover

They literally put my mom in harms way. I personally had a really bad experience with them. They made a lot of false promises. There are to many things on the list that they need to make improvements on.

I toured Sun City Senior Living and the facility was kind of old and worn. The people who live here were more using this facility as a long time hotel with food. I did not see any caretakers, just a salesman. They had add on charges for everything.

The building itself is old, it needs to be renovated completely from head to toe. They need to install a new AC and heating because it does not work in the main building. The staff are short handed and they really need to care more and be present. They need to incorporate new and different activities, there are to many residents that just sit alone. They also should have someone seating the residents at meal times because there are to many residents that sit alone again or are not encouraged to sit with other residents.
