This facility is ok. It's a nice, clean place. General areas always seem very clean and well kept. The people that I've interacted with have all been fine. The move in process was a little rough, but the staff was very responsive and everything was taken care of as quickly as possible. Things seem to be going very well right now. My mom hasn't participated in the activities yet, so I can't rate those. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We were looking at the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments. The air conditioning unit is in the wall and it extends to the living room and bedroom. In the second bedroom there is no air conditioning at all. You cannot put anything on that wall because it takes up so much space. I asked if it was just this unit we saw and they told us all of them were like that. I just think it is a bad design and that is what turned us away from this facility.

We have never been given a menu, for the food. They need to have an administration, with integrity and that does not lie. There needs to be answered questions when your loved ones have questions. The residents are left in clothing for weeks and they smell. They are not being helped, they don't take care of grooming habits, and their teeth are not brushed. The resident's hygiene needs are not being met. According to Pacifica, rules we are supposed to be given a list of loved ones' belongings, and they are responsible for what has been checked in. I was told, It does not pertain to this Pacifica.

We didn't have a great experience at this facility. It's a safe place, but feels 'dark.' Overall, I think most of the staff was well intended but I feel like they were short staffed. They made many promises that they didn't deliver on. The nail salon- never happened. Activities- there were none (they told me that they had them, but that my loved one chose not to participate). Outings- the transportation van was broken before we even moved our loved one in but they didn't tell us that. It remained broken and there were never any outings. My loved one's trashcans didn't have liners in them and would be full of soiled diapers. Her toilet was dirty and in need of a good cleaning. We brought her home to stay with us for a few days over the Holidays and they sent her medications with her- one of them was empty and hadn't been refilled. That was a big concern for us. Each day after lunch, they would take the residents to the basement in the 'community room' for activities. There was nothing but a TV and kitchen chairs in the room. One day I visited and went down to see them in the room, staring at the TV that wasn't even playing. My loved one cried and asked me to get her out of here, so we did. Again, not a good fit for my loved one. I wouldn't recommend this facility to friends and family.

My loved one likes the food. They are doing okay. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

I toured this community and didn't really care for it. It's an older facility and smelled very strongly of air freshener. We didn't care for the set up, small dining area, or shared bathrooms. It's a more restrictive area than we were looking for.

They're very nice, and approachable. They were very helpful, after a month or two, and that kind of falls off. When I first got my loved one there, there was a lot of posting on Facebook to help you keep up with things. The last two or three weeks they've been on COVID-19 lockdown. I do believe that my loved one, has settled in there pretty well. I wish that some of the activities, that they were doing early on were still available or that they would keep us up-to-date on some of the activities on the Facebook like they used to do.

My loved one said the experience was ok. He said that since he tries to eat kosher style he felt that there was no alternative if he could not eat the meal . He said they might have made an alternative but he did not know before the meal.

My mom enjoys the activities Pacifica provides. The Holiday music for Thanksgiving. It was a lovely addition to the holiday. They have fresh baked cookies every afternoon. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Our family had an in person tour and the big issue with this community for us was that the rooms were in separate buildings and the residents would have to go outside to get to the dining, activity area.

This was a nice community. It felt a little too small and didn't have the grounds we wanted for our loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was just okay, they were under construction at the time so we just knew it was not going to be the best fit for our loved at that moment.

I would tell others to really really check out their consistency with administration of medications and their pharmacy (which is very sub standard in our opinion). That has been the biggest complaint for us during the experience here.

The staff is very personable, friendly and respectful. However they are a bit short staffed and don't tend to him as often as they should. Our uncle evacuated his home due to wildfires and needed a place right away and this facility offered him a furnished apartment at no extra cost. Our uncle is a retired professor of languages and has enjoyed the company of some of the other residents who share similar experience and interests. Activities are minimal and are not effectively communicated in time. They post activities on the board and on a flyer but our uncle is losing his eyesight and cannot read well. It would be helpful for staff to notify him of next day activities when they take him to his meals and ask if he wants to sign up. It would be helpful to have a better program to welcome and introduce new residents.

The aids at the community are absolutely wonderful to work with, the three front desk works are excellent and just have been great. Our loved one really enjoys her apartment. We had looked into this community pre-covid and our loved one had moved in after covid. Since then they have changed management and from the administrative side of things it is just a mess - things are disorganized and communication needs improvement. They have good meal selection but in general our loved one just does not think the food taste very good

They are having some staffing issues, so they are cycling through a lot of people. They are having issues with the food, the cleaning service and the activities. The new person who took over the cooking is better and is trying alternative recipes with more vegetables and fresher foods, especially at dinner. I am seeing an improvement there. They also have a new activities director who is working in improving those. A big thing I noticed was that staff were coming in at odd hours while she was sleeping and she is independent living. She brought it up in a meeting and they seemed to listen to her suggestion. I would recommend them, they are trying to make things better and we are hoping to see more improvements.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others. I found the furniture was filthy. The management told me that corporate would be delivering new furniture and this never came be. There was a time I found my loved one on the floor after they had fallen. The staff didn't try to assist my loved one up after a fall. The community didn't tell the family about their procedures when this happened. I found it strange that the community doesn't help the residents up. My loved one's room had a horrible smell when I would visit. The furniture that my loved one had in their room took almost a month later for the smell to dissipate after bringing it back home. There weren't a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in. The community told us that the stained carpet would be replaced and this never happened.

Manager should never give out information regarding person at stay. Only one is the person on the contract. Overall the studio was nice and clean, employees were good service. It was just the manager.

When we toured with Sun City, we noticed the residents were kind of left to themselves. I made sure to tour places during their activity time, and all we saw was the residents were all wheeled into a big room with TV's. There was also no staff members really watching them.

They did a very nice renovation. However, their elevator keeps breaking down (my mom[information removed] and uses a walker so that is concerning) and they seem to care not one whit about the dining experience of their residents. My mom is diabetic and they rarely provide alternative desserts for them (or if they do, they run out of them quickly because there ARE so many diabetics), And then they do not provide anything for them but say instead that there is "always sugar-free Jell-O." I understand that for the money this place is very reasonable and that was why we chose it, but the food choices are very very disappointing and frequently not even low salt or attentive towards the needs of most of the residents. This is my biggest concern. -- after the elevator of course. Apparently there's a tremendous turnover within management and staff, and that is not so good for morale either among the residents.
