I have no complaints we just absolutely love it. Everything is great!

The staff has been fantastic and cares. Dad has his own apartment and it is kept organized and clean. I know that he is safe and healthy.

We chose this facility after visiting and reviewing other facilities. The room is very spacious compared to other 1 bedroom facilities. We were further impressed by the amount of residents that get involved in the endless activities. Their participation, I think, speaks volumes. The place has several over sized common areas compared to other facilities. The decor is very elegant and the staff is so friendly and warm. The beautiful dining room has three chefs and five waiters that give you very timely service. The food is very tasty, visual appealing and the wait staff is very attentive. The cost was very reasonable, the room is significantly larger then others and includes weekly personal laundry. Daily trash collection, weekly cleaning and 24/7 watchful eyes on your loved one is always available. Which is peace of mind for family members.

It's been great so far. We have not had a single issue, yet. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The building is clean and well maintained, but it is an older building, and I would give them a lower score based on that. We liked the graduated care that they offered here, and that is what made us choose them.

I am very pleased with the administration keeping me up to date on how my family member is doing. I also received an activity newsletter which details what they offer. The nurse also keeps me abreast on how & when my family member has a doctors appointment & the results of the visit.

The admin staff is friendly and helpful with what you will need and how other resources are available to help. Recently Emeritus sold to Brookdale. Brookdale appears to be much more responsive to complaints and/or suggestions for the comfort of the elderly residents.

Overall I think they do a good job at Alexander Court. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly. My only complaint is that they seem to be a little understaffed during the evening/night hours.

My Mom was in another place prior to coming to Atria Meridian......she was very unhappy with the people, the food, the services she is so much happier in Meridian. I feel so much better knowing that she is safe & comfortable when I can not get there.

The common areas are kept very clean, but I am not sure how often the individual rooms are picked up. The staff are very friendly. They are pretty responsive for the most part. They have activities, and make a good effort to help people participate. The food isn't as seasoned as much as we would like. They are being very attentive with helping her cut food, and seeing to her needs. The other residents aren't as friendly and welcoming as one would like, they sleep a lot, and the TV is often on old westerns and cartoons, as opposed to more stimulating shows.

This is one of the places I looked at when I was touring. It was fine, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly. It didn't seem to have a lot of fluff, or seem very well decorated. It wasn't what I was looking for.

I hve a family member residing at the former Willow Creek facility. The apartments and caregivers are wonderful. They take a personal interest in all the residents. However, since Pacifica took over, I have seen decline in the qulity of food. Activities are minimal, and it seems that there are more restrictions placed on what and where residents can go. I am hoping things will improve, because my family member has enjoyed living there and uprooting him/her would be quite inconvenient.

Everything is good, as far as we can tell. We aren't very close by so we don't see everything. They seem to be doing a really good job. They really rescued us and took him the same day, when our previous plans fell through.

They aren't the best but they aren't the worst either. The food is the big thing, they have a daily menu, and a lot of it she can't eat, partly because of what they put in it. She pretty much has to specialty eat, it's mostly BLT's. We see a lot of people kind of taking a few bites and then pushing the food away, so I don't think it's just us, but you never know. They try to accommodate, but they just don't have a lot of options. The people are nice, and the room is nice. they are a little understaffed and the staff is often running around back and forth. The three most important things I think are the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the food.

Emeritus at Spring Valley did not end up being an option that worked out well for our loved one, but I think they would do a fine job caring for someone lower on the care needs spectrum. It was a nice looking place, and the staff were friendly, they just were not set up to provide the level of care we needed.

The activities seem pretty normal – like what everyone has. Make sure initially, at least for the first month or two – make sure you’re on top of things – especially the medication. The food is pretty good for the most part. Parking can be a little challenging. We’ve never had any issues with the laundry service.

The admission staff at Atria Burlingame was very supportive of me when I transitioned my father from the skilled nursing home into their Memory Care Community. They provided temporary furniture, a walker, linens and towels for him to use until his own belongings where delivered. Now that my father has been in the community for 2 months, I do see some things that could be improved. And I wonder about the qualifications of the caretakers; some seem quite young, timid and inexperienced for a job with such demanding responsibilities. My father told me he felt one of the caretakers did not want to apply the hydrocortisone cream that the doctor prescribed for a rash he developed on his upper torso, we suspect from the laundry detergent used at the facility. One thing that really bothered me early on, was that my father was not bathed within the first month after he arrived, even though his bathing frequency was on the schedule. I am not sure where this breakdown in communication occurred. Another issue arose when I informed the Life Guidance Director (Memory Care) that I bought an extra set of bed linens and asked that my father's sheets be changed; I was disappointed when I visited later in the week and the same linens were still on his bed. I have never tried the food, but my father sometimes complains about it being bland or that the meat could be more tender. I think the activities (i.e. dancing, flower arranging) are geared more towards the female residents. I have spoken to the Activities Director about this and asked if they could plan more activities that may appeal to their male residents. I asked them do something for the Giants home opener and they did. And I have seen some things with other residents that concern me that I will not go into here. The Life Guidance Director is good about managing my father's toiletries and medicines. If something is running low, he offers to go purchase it. It is very convenient for me that they bring my father to the City for his doctor's appointments where I then meet them. Is Atria Burlingame great? No. Is there room for improvement? Yes. I do not think one will ever find a community that will deliver everything it promises. I just keep my eyes open and realize I have to be my father's advocate in the community. All in all, its an adequate community. The location is great and the weather is nice (on sunny days we like to sit on the patio out front).

Excellent assisted living situations with beautiful older buildings and well established gardens. However, although they have a gate, it is left open all day without superveillance, so any residents can wander off (as my mother did, in a moment of pique). Within a month, we were pressured into moving her from the assisted living wing (which was well within her means, even with monthly fees for supplementary care) into the 'memory care' unit. The fees doubled, and the quality of care diminished radically. 10 days after moving her to the memory care unit, nobody had bothered to find or replace her missing toothbrush. The situation was unbearable for many reasons, mainly inappropriate human surroundings - only the most careless and patronizing care givers, and 'peers' who were so much farther 'gone' that my mother became terribly isolated and depressed (not that she's a stranger to depression, but these surroundings were truly demoralizing). There were supervisory people who cared tremendously and did their best to improve her situation, but they did not make the rounds every day. My mother is in an intermediate stage, neither assisted living nor memory care is appropriate for her, so she is back at home with me now. If assisted living is your interest, I'd give the place 5 stars, but for memory care just 2.

Most of the staff, I would rate as a 4+, but there is one caregiver that we have had some issues with. We have talked to the management, and they say that they are working on it, so we hope so. I think that they could also improve on their activities. They do drawings and paintings, but they could use some more physically active games, since some of the residents are still in good physical shape. Something like puzzles or throwing balls. The price is a little high, but they work with our insurance. We mainly chose them because the top management is friendly, and understandable, and professional as well. We just think the caregivers could maybe use some extra training.

Didn't like the configuration of the place, because it didn't have actual doors on the bedrooms. Property over all was nice, wasn't too bad, and you could walk around. Cost was too much, my mom can only afford so much. Cost was $3500, but with medication management it would've gone up to $4,000.

We found Pacifica Senior living after checking two previously recommended facilities. The Director was very informative and answered all of our questions. This facility was a perfect fit for our family member as well as our budget. The facility is clean, and very well run with friendly staff. There are a number of activities available even for someone with advanced alzheimers who is difficult at times to control. The grounds are well manicured and the atmosphere is cheerful and calming. Laundry services are included in the price, however You will need to provide all bedroom furniture and linens. The cost is a little higher if the patient is incontinent.
