All aspects seem to be moving along pretty well. We have been at The Meridian 1 and a half year and we are both very happy here. There are many activities to participate in and meet with other residents. On a whole, all the employees are friendly, helpful and do a good job. We will happily recommend The Meridian to anybody that might be considering!

In our independent Living Community, we feel quite safe, secure, and happy. We've made some really nice friends. Our housekeeper is prompt and does a fine job. We still try to maintain "independent" lives so do not participate in all activities - just the ones that our schedule allows and we enjoy them. Several of us are trying to work for improvements in the dinning room: manners, accuracy of servers and menu- currently it is not 5 star dinning - but we all hope it improves!

My husband and I moved into a brand new 2 bed 2 bath 4 years ago. We love our view and the Meridian. Staff is kind and always helpful. Lost my husband 4 month ago, but i have no intention of leaving. The food is not always perfect, but as long as I don't have to cook, I don't mind! Plus chef [name removed] always listens! Biggest complaint is that the carpet- Hallway needs replacing.

I think this place is very nice- Not perfect- but nice. The workers are all very nice, too, but quite a bit of turn over perhaps the workers aren't all that satisfied with their jobs?? The food is exceptional - excellent chef. The maintenance is handled by the dear, sweetest young man. I really like our new director [name removed]. I'm not very special, and tend to have depression occasionally, but I would defiantly recommend to live in this community.

Great location everyone is attentive to my grandma! Looks very professional and cozy!

Good first impression; nice facility with friendly staff. Residents looked content. Meal selection looked good. Grounds were pretty. Everything was in one building. All residents have 3 meals daily provided in the dining room. I was disappointed that there was no available transportation to local churches on Sundays and currently only monthly Devotional times on site, although they did have rosary and communion during the month also.

Always a wonderful feeling when walking here to visit my mother. Front desk lady [name removed] is very welcoming! and your caregivers during the day and night.

Facility was clean and lively. Surrounded by lots of trees and walk ways for those residents who are able to move around and enjoy the outdoors. Staff was friendly and professional. Nice facility, high on my list as the selected future home for my mother...

[name removed] was very helpful with all of our questions. We enjoyed the facility, and the sing-along with the pianist. Rooms were nice. We were put off by odors, which is why only 4 stars.

I have lived in this area for 39 years but moved to Meridian San Marcos over a half years ago. I'm very happy living here.

I am generally happy @ the Meridian. I have a few suggestions, I would like to discuss with [named removed] Executive Director. I have lived in both Independent + Assisted Living for the past 4 years so I've seen good plus not so good. I'm happy with the friends I've made here+ with the activities I participate in .

Living alone is not what I wanted for the rest of my life. I lived here because I had my home in Kingz Point. My husband passed away and my son [name removed] is in Texas and my daughter [name removed] lives in Arizona. After checking Senior places (too expensive in TX & AZ) so I decided to come home, sell my house + move here. I'm happy, I'm treated so good by all the people that take care of us here. Medics, aids, vistors+housekeeper. I have friends. I do find fault with the meals - too heavy with salt-not good for my medical condition. I love breakfast.

Professional staff, responsive with good communication. My loved one is safe and happy – that is what’s most important.

This community has gone through a major renovation. Some areas are still not complete, but are busy around: I love living here because of the love of people I meet. The facility is a natural paradise not man made, filled with grass and squirrels and plenty of area to walk and enjoy to walk. We actually experience four seasons without real deal climate change.

My caregivers are great. They are attentive and caring.

Good facilities, good food & mostly good services.

We went on a tour here and it was nice and clean. The staff answered all of my answers. This was a bigger place. They had on and off campus outings I liked. All the RN's were memory care trained. I like the set up they had for the memory care unit. It was like they had apartments of their own.

The food is very bad! I can eat only breakfast as is always the same and served routinely. Not fully hot.
