Pacifica Senior Living

We are really happy with them overall. The food has kind of gone downhill in the time since he has been there. I would like to see that addressed, but really we are quite satisfied with the community on the whole.

I think that they have a good setup as far as individual cottages. Their reaction time is very fast. They have just instituted a system that helps the staff members react quicker. It took them a while to get my husbands medication right though, so I had to have numerous communications with them to get it corrected. But everyone has been very friendly and my husband seems to enjoy it.

I liked the place but did not like the quad format living options and the private one bedrooms have a waitlist.

I think the food service is very good. The residents there have a lot of flexibility in terms of what they eat and when they can eat. I would say the activities are very good, they could just do a little better in terms of motivating the residents to participate.

The facility is very accommodating and they were very good people. My wife did not like staying there and she only stayed for three days, but not because of the facility or the staff. The people there were very friendly.

The Courtyard at Coeur d'Alene has good caregivers, they are attentive and responsive in my mothers needs. The location is good, overall it has been a good experience thus far.

We were impressed with the facilities and are seriously considering for mom. Paid another visit on 9/26. Still a very possible consideration for mom

Overall things seem to be going well with Brookdale Kenmore. The facility itself is very nice, and always well kept and clean, and the staff all seem very friendly. My loved one has settled in well, and really seems to enjoy it for the most part. However, there are a few things they could work on to really improve the experience. The first is that they only have a single washer and dryer that is shared by all of the residents and staff, so it can be hard to find a time to use it. In addition, it would be nice if the transportation service was a little more extensive. They'll take them on weekly trips to Wal-Mart and Dollar General, but my loved one has had trouble finding a way to get to her bank.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

I think they can improve on the care experience for my mother, which is why I said three for the Value. My mother needs quite a bit of care, so the rent is a very reasonable price, but the charge for the care is astronomical. I'm basing that on the fact that we had private care before she was moved to Atria and she got much better care from the women we hired than when she got there. She wasn't even there for very long.

I think the cooperation and the interest has been very very good at Brookdale Hemet . I will say the results are not always tremendous. We have had trouble keeping track of his personal belongings. I attribute this to the type of patients in this unit. They don't know what they are doing and I don't want that to be a reflection of Brookdale because of that. The staff has helped me resolve many issues. All in all I am really happy with this facility.

They were wonderful at Brookdale Sterling. Mom was in here for respite care. It wasn't the right place for her long term. The scale of the patients mental health just wasn't a right fit for her but it was exactly what she needed for respite care. It gave her a feel for how things go at a facility like this. Mom has a complicated medical case and the staff just did a phenomenal at managing her care. They made mom feel empowered at being able to handle it herself while at the same time being very helpful and caring. They really helped her be independent. I will say the whole time she was there the transportation bus was out of order and she ended up having to pay a cab to make it to an appointment. The staff just didn't really do a good job helping her with this situation.

One are that needs improving is the cleaning and bathing of the patients at The Arbors at Rancho Penasquitos. The staff there are really delightful people. The care is expensive for sure. But they really are pleasant people and I am sure they do about as good of a job as any facility like this.

They have been remodeling so I think some of the older furniture is being replaced, and the place is very clean and well kept. They keep everyone in a nice community where they are happy and watched over. Their staff is really good. They have been very accommodating and individual support and attention. I have eaten there a few times as well and the food has been very good. It has been a really good experience all around.

It is extremely clean at Sun City Senior Living. I know mom is being well cared for there. I cant think of negative to say really. There are plenty of activities but she doesn't participate in any. We walked away happy and feeling secure that she is being well cared for. Any time I talk to her I am more convinced that this is where she needs to be.

The people at Atria Daly City have been very caring of my sister. The staff are all very nice and very concerned for her well being. They really do their best to make the residents feel welcome. They are meeting all of our needs.

At Heritage Hills we love the exercise classes that are offered and the exercise equipment available to use. My husband gets excellent memory care here. We like the food a lot. I am not pleased with being responsible with some of the yard work. I would love to see that changed and be able to receive help cleaning up our lawn. I have not had good response from the maintenance team. They are too slow to get back with me. Overall I am pleased but would like some things changed as I mentioned.

Overall we are pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale Sunrise! It isn't the fanciest looking place that I saw, but the community is clean and well kept, and it has a comfortable friendly atmosphere. I'm very impressed with the staff, they are friendly, and very reliable. One of my big concerns was medication management, and I like that they seem to be very attentive and detail oriented, as well as having a nurses on-site nearly 24/7. The residents here are friendly and social, and the common areas are always bustling. Mom seems to have settled in well, and says she is really enjoying herself!

We were very happy to find Pacifica for our mother. She was briefly at Calusa Harbor but we moved her after a short time. They might be good for other types of needs but not for memory care. Pacifica is memory care only. Residents there vary in terms of impairment and are grouped accordingly. We find the management solid, the staff caring, the facility clean, quiet and pleasant, and the food quite acceptable. Whatever our mother's trajectory, we are confident she will be CARED for at Pacifica.

When my mom moved in they were in a transition period and getting new owners and since they have taken over it has been really good. I am happy with the facility. It is a good place. I would definitely recommend it.
