I thought the staff at this community where very friendly and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan they had as well as the different apartment packages. I have no complaints about our visit and would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

I have no complaints so far about how things are going for my mother. She has really adapted well into her new living environment and seems to have adjusted well. The staff have all been very kind to her and kept things organized and professional. She has not gotten involved in too many of the activities but she is liking the meals and dinning experience. Overall we are very pleased.

I had reservations about the outside appearance, but after meeting [Removed] and visiting the interior it was much more pleasant in cleanliness and appearance. They are doing major renovations to the entire community with new landscaping to be done as well. Much impressed with her professionalism and dedication to try and help meet your needs. Met lots of friendly folks around the community.

During my tour of Brookdale Fresno, I thought it was a very nice facility. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The tour guide was able to answer my questions and give me good information. It was a good experience but we found another community in a better location that for my loved one's needs better.

I have no complaints about the stay my parents have been having so far at this community. The staff where very accommodating on helping them get adjusted into there new living environment. They have a great dinning experience as well as activities for the residents throughout the week which I have been impressed with. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone who is interested.

Very beautiful facilities and nice people, but the price for the least expensive studio room had increased $200 in the past six months and medication management is very expensive (close to $500 per month for ten medication). These two cost factors lowered the attractiveness of this facility.

I feel that the staff that they have are doing a really good job. They are having problems with keeping staff on hand. They are actually understaffed. I know that my mom has gotten involved with some of the activities, but she needs more encouragement from the staff.

I had a very good tour of this community, and everything went very well. The community looked great. Everything was very well maintained. The staff was good, they were very kind, and friendly. This was one of my top picks for my mother in law, and her needs.

My mother was only in the care of the staff at this community for a short period of time but while she was there we where pleased with the services she was provided. I liked that every time my father and I had an issue about what was going we would speak to the case worker about it and it would get addressed fairly quickly. They where attentive to our issues and made sure to accommodate my mothers needs as best as they could.

We toured 3 facilities in Escondido before choosing Pacifica. There were 3 other family members besides myself touring. We met the tour guide -[Removed], head of the memory unit. She gave us a very complete tour which included the public areas as well as a few apartments. She knew EVERY resident's name and took time to chat with every single one as we passed them in the halls. Since my mom moved in, we have had some challenges. The one with the menu (mom has Celiac & Diabetes) is one mom needs to adapt to. They do provide some options in gluten free breads and baked goods. The kitchen staff can be a bit abrasive if you show up at closing. The kitchen closes at 6pm and if you show up at 5:50 they let you know they aren't happy. Any other issues that have come up, we have been able to resolve with the appropriate staff. Mom is happy and making friends quickly. The age range is broad from late 50's to over 100. Since mom falls in the middle, she is happy to have such a diverse crowd. Some residents have pets living with them. There are cats that "visit" mom's patio which she enjoys. There are a few small dogs as well. The barking can be annoying at times but it isn't prolonged or overly loud. Overall I would recommend Pacifica Escondido.

Everything has been going great here so far. My mom is getting involved in some of the activities that they offer. The community is clean and the people are very nice and helpful. My mom said that the food is decent enough.

This community would have been nice but they did not meet her level of needs. If we would have put my loved one in this community she would have needed extra assistance from an in-home caregiver or outside company. Other than that, the place was clean and everyone was friendly.

The staff we meet at this community were nice and knowledgable. The community seemed clean and open. This community allows pets and offers transportation.

We liked this place. It has nice grounds and gardens. But the assisted living residence is small and away from the main building, so there wouldn't be many people to interact with without quite a walk.

When it was time to find an assisted living location for my father, who suffers from Alzheimer's, we were very fortunate to find our way to Pacifica Northridge. The building is clean and lovely, the staff is warm, welcoming, caring, and very friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the needs of people with dementia. They provide fun activities and they communicated with us regarding my dad's progress and care and took appropriate action when necessary. If you have a loved one who is in need of a memory care facility you would do very well placing them in the care of the staff at Pacifica Northridge. Thanks Pacifica for all your care and attention.

He is doing well, we are hopeful that he will be able to move to another cottage that isn't as advanced in care. He doesn't have much conversational interaction with the other residents. The caregivers are wonderful and I can't say enough good things about them. They are so respectful and understanding of every individual resident. They walk him to another cottage so he can partake in the activities, he beats the memory care directer at checkers and is a top BINGO player. My father is very social and is always looking for something to do. He doesn't complain about the food much but I notice that it's not very colorful. I've tried the food and it was very good they could just use more color on the plate so it is more nutritious and presentable. This was the first place i toured and I immediately felt at ease. I am hopeful that the furniture would be maintained, updated and/or reupholstered in the common living areas of the memory care cottages. The lady who did Sales and Marketing really reassured me that it would be a good place for my father. She was was so kind and understanding. She even sang with my father and he loves to sing. He is happy and I am very happy with Brookdale Hemet.

The Arbors was reasonably priced. What I did not like was that it seemed to be like a converted motel. The place was dark and kind of sad. It was not what I was looking for.

My Dad and Mom moved to Monte Vista over a year ago. I eat there with them at least once a week and sometimes more. The guest meals are reasonably priced. I'm a good cook and most of the time the meals are very good. If you don't care for what is on the menu for a meal you can always order a hamburger, hot dog, grilled chicken breast or deli sandwich. I cook with little salt and so does MVV. There are salt and pepper shakers on every table and rarely I will add a little. The ham yesterday for lunch was one of the best I've tasted. My folks had a little problem with theft, but I installed a camera in their apartment and we caught the thief. They are in jail. MVV can't install cameras because of state privacy laws, but a resident can. Cost less than $100 and problem solved. There have been no other thefts for my folks of anything for months. I don't think you can blame MVV for one bad apple. That can happen anywhere. I can tell you that the administration was so responsive and helpful. They helped me with camera placement to insure success. And they were so supportive and caring to Mom and Dad. The staff go above and beyond every day. Mom and Dad go to exercise class 4 times per week and are being taken on a tour today. There are plenty of activities. They are very happy there and their blood work shows their health has improved. Highly recommend this place.

Moving to Bixby Knolls Towers has truely been a good move. The care, friendliness and overall help from the staff has been exactly what was needed. Living here has been an easy adjustment and is now a place I can call home. I'm not familiar with other senior living communities in the area but BK has met all expectations.
