Pacifica Senior Living

The main reason I moved here was because it was close to where I was living and my friends were nearby - but there is nothing to do here all day every day. There are no activities or social interaction between residents what so ever. I leave to go play cards elsewhere at night. It is very boring. That has ruined the experience for me, I cannot wait to move out.

We were very impressed with the facility. It is very clean and well-maintained. My father's unit is very nice and comfortable. The staff has been very responsive to our questions. One month after my father moved into the facility they implemented a new online rent paying system. It has been very challenging because there are a lot of quirks and the staff is trying to work them out. We are hopeful that they will get those things fixed and make it a much more streamlined process in the future. Overall I would rate the facility very high and would definitely recommend it to anyone else that might be interested in moving their parents there. I would say that the only thing negative about the facility is the food. But I know that's very common in assisted-living facilities.

It would be nice to have longer time frames for dinner to allow residents an opportunity to eat later, and to make sure there is enough food available for all the residents to eat. Dinner starts at 4:30. [Name removed] is awesome! Whenever you ask [name removed] to get something done, it gets done. This individual is a five star in my mind!

My advice: question the intake process and push for clarity on what they are charging and why and not to let them rush you. I am pleased with the care they have provided my dad. He seems to be content.

Our family had an in person tour with Pacifica Senior living and overall we did think it was a good community, the people there were very nice. The reason we did not pick it, is because they just did not have everything we were looking for

We picked this community, because it was the grounds at the facility, it's a lot of green space and on a lake. They could improve, on the transporation offered to the residents. I would recommend to other families.

Meridian at Laguna Hills is a five-star facility with great amenities, including a spa and hair salon. There is an independent wing and an assisted living wing, so they have the capability for people who are independent and have their own cars. The apartment is a good value for the money. I think they only thing I wild be careful about is their accounting processes need more efficiency and rigor.

Staffing in the resident dining room are inefficient and understaffed. Maintenance is slow to respond to problems. Management promises are ineffective. The food is great. Just takes forever to get to you.

The facility was lovely, clean the residents I encountered looked happy. Great food options, nice open layout!

Friednly, helpful staff. Sometimes long wait to order or receive meals. Hosuekeeping is spotty, at best. Sometimes I cannot eat the meals on the regular menu, due to allergies. Thank God for the "anytime menu"! The view from my room is not great, but it is under construction.

The people are very nice here, I think that it's going as well as could be expected. The place is clean, definitely nicer than most other facilities in the area, especially for the price. When you walk in it feels like a dwelling, not an institution. My only complaint is that for someone who needs a lot of assistance, I find the place to be understaffed. The staff is great, but they're exhausted. Residents sometimes have to wait for quite awhile to get help when they need it. I think they could do with more staffing. Communication with the family is okay. Once I bring their attention to something, they're communicative about it. I do think they make an effort to communicate. Housekeeping is okay, they keep my loved one's apartment reasonably clean. Laundry service is okay, generally speaking. I would recommend this facility to family and friends, depending on their needs. I would say if someone doesn't need a tremendous amount of services, this is a very good place.

The activities is pretty good. I picked this community because it was the least expensive, and it was a price that I liked. The organizational structure sometimes seems to be lacking.

I am very pleased how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The place was very neat and organized. The residents were engaged in an arts and crafts activity and another group doing trivia. I was excited to hear some of the answers.

I toured this facility and it was pretty nice. It's an older place and I didn't see a lot of active residents during my tour.

This facility is older and it's not fancy, but it's a good fit for my loved one and things have gone well overall. My loved one likes it here. The staff are good for the most part, sometimes it takes a little bit longer to get things done. My loved one isn't overly happy with the food, mostly the quality. We have spoken to the kitchen manager about it. Housekeeping is once a week and they do a good job with that. Communication with the family is very good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Overall, they are very accommodating, have a very good reputation, and our Mom seems happy there. Only issue I have is sometimes they are lacking in responding to some of my requests/follow-ups and I have to reach out to them sometimes a few times to get the info I need. It could be that they are understaffed but not sure.

Our tour at Pacifica Chino Hills was okay. The facility was fine. The biggest factor for us was location, and it was just a little bit farther out than we preferred.

We picked this community because, it met my loved ones needs, it was a smaller community and had smaller cottages. It was much more reasonably priced than other places.

My Dad is very happy there. Nice attentive staff, clean, and he really likes the food.
