Overall, it is a good place for our loved one. The staff are friendly. The food is good and he enjoys the dining hall. It's clean, the apartment is nice, and he is well cared for. The value seems about average. It would be cheaper for a person who did not require as much care. The caregivers themselves are great, but the communication and lack of staff have at times been an issue. When he first arrived, it seemed that there had been a large staff turnover. There was a new director for assisted living who did not stay long and the position was vacant for a while. There was a brief confusion about cleaning our loved one's room. All that has been sorted out. The medical care has been very good- and he came in with many medical issues. He does not participate in activities but does enjoy socializing in the dining hall.

I would recommend to check out this community, the staff is so friendly.

Gardens at Escondido according to our loved one feels much more like a homey environment. The communication with the staff has been really good. The staff we have met with and gotten to know on the memory care side we like a lot and they will always call or email us with any kind of updates regarding our loved one. We are happy with the care our loved one is receiving and we would recommend them to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

I hadn't clarified if the facility was equipped for transportation to appointments, but we are doing our best on both ends to accommodate necessary outings. The only other thing that comes to mind is better communication between the staff; but I try to be proactively involved with the care, and try to ensure we're all on the same page

The community was under new management, so it was not as together as other places. The rooms were being renovated, but the rooms that I saw, that were not being renovated were okay. Also, it wasn't as pet friendly.

Pacifica Senior Living Palm Springs is an adequate facility. It it set up ion cottages with only about 12 residents in each cottage. The main reason we chose this facility was because that cottage that she would be in was right outside the dining room, it was very convenient for her. She started in assisted living and I did not think she would be a flight risk, but she unfortunately tried to leave. She never really adjusted to the facility and did not like the experience. Because of these reasons we decided to take our loved one out. The staff was all fine, we did not have any issues with them. The only issue was the lady in charge of getting us in there was magnificent with getting back to me until my loved one moved in. After she was in, if I ever called her it was very hard to get any type of response from her.

What sticks out the most to us about Pacifica Senior Living Freso is: the helpful and caring staff members as well as the great shuttle service that is provided. The residents here also seem to be happy. The room sizes here are very nice. My loved one also had a friend who lived here as well, which is a main reason he decided on Pacifica.

We had toured a few other communities that our loved one did not like and when we came here to Meridian she really liked it so we knew we had to pick it. We do think the overall value is great but we have had an issue with the billing department since day one so that could use a little more organization. The activities are pretty limited on the memory care side so sometimes our loved one gets bored but we do understand just like everyone else they are struggling with staffing. However the staff members are very friendly.

I liked the location in Hemet - seemed safer than others. It got good ratings. They do have activities, but my dad only went to happy hour weekly. They come weekly and do housekeeping in each room and wash clothes. The food though was not healthy. Lots of fried food, heavy sauces and soups which aren't good for anyone.

My loved one was there for just a short while, but we were really pleased with Pacifica San Leandro. Sometimes I had a hard time getting in touch with the Executive Director. But the staff were really accommodating, and my loved one was very comfortable during his last days there.

We picked this community because of, the proximity, communication, positive information from the staff, and the cleanliness of the environment. They have had turnover in the staff. Overall, our satisfactory is very good, and I am glad that my loved one is there.

I toured this facility and it was good. The staff was friendly and it was fairly clean. Our tour guide did feel a little bit like a used car salesman. Not pushy or anything, but just kind of sales pitchy. It's more expensive than a lot of other options. Our main issue is that it was too far from home.

This was our second choice. They had a very nice outdoor garden area for the residents, and is in a nice area. The cost was a little to much for my friend that was looking, and the rooms appeared slightly smaller.

It is a nice community but they seem a little disorganized with the billing and some of the management parts.

My loved one was very difficult, to the point that I could not keep him at home anymore. The staff at Pacifica were well equipped to handle those types of challenges and knew what to do. They were efficient. And the facility was very nice and well-maintained. I would recommend it to others.

This facility is good overall. The staff is very friendly and engaging. They're also consistent, not a lot of turnover with staff here. That tells me they must like it here. Housekeeping is weekly and they do a good job. They do have a hairdresser, but she only works one day a week and it's hard to get an appointment. One suggestion I have is giving the family a direct contact name and phone# to speak with about concerns and updates. When I call, I'm only connected to a med tech that tells me my loved one is doing fine and has no other details. Ultimately, I would even suggest maybe a bi-weekly follow up phone call to the family. That would help a lot. One other thing, the location of the telephone provided for the residents to use. It's right outside of the dining area door. When I talk to my loved one, a lot of times there is noise from the dining area and the residents coming in and out. Not the best location for the telephone. Overall, it's a good place and I would recommend them to family and friends.

My dad was only there about a week. I was a little frustrated with medication. I didn't feel like the person over what he gets was great at communicating with us. We could only reach her assistant and were asked to only call the assistant. We were not part of the plan as to what he would be given and when. I feel like it could have been handled differently for a better outcome. My dad got kicked out because he was too aggressive. When we signed him up, we had the understanding that medication could be adjusted so he wasn't aggressive, but also not a vegetable. He was prescribed an anti-psych med as needed. When it was needed, it was too late.

Care staff needs improvement. Kitchen needs improvement.

Staff is great. I'm glad they have been able to get my husband moved. However, I've had to have maintenance clean a/c vents twice in a few months.
