Pacifica Senior Living

An appointment to hear about "downsizing." I would love to move there and live out my life. I am 88, my condo is up for sale, my future is uncertain. I'm now excited of the possibility of making Pacifica my home.

The facility and staff are wonderful!! Highly recommend. My mother is no longer there for other reasons ( too far away from family and friends, wasn't ready for assisted living).

Pacifica has been a great facility. If there was a section titled Communication I would have given it a 4 but that’s really been my only issue. They were 5 star communicators before we signed. It’s been nothing urgent and with being a new family to this entire process, we had a lot to learn. We don’t know what we don’t know so I’ve learned to ask a lot of questions and guide the level of care for my father from there.

Overall my mom's experience has been very good. She is treated with love and kindness. I believe that her health has improved since she has been here. She is more social and bright.

My loved one was previously a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Northridge for almost a year and the experience was great for her. This place is a great facility. Based on our experience, I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Northridge to others.

I would recommend Avila Senior Living at Downtown SLO. It's a small community feel. If you want extra special food, it may not meet your wants. But the food is cooked fresh and is planned by a nutritionist. You need patience waiting for food to be served sometimes. All of my needs are met and I feel safe.

The staff are kind and attentive which made a great difference when he got more feeble. I never heard impatient or curt conversations with patients. Also having an enclosed area with gardens and gazebo accessible at any time was perfect. Much better than the last place he was at where you had to ask to go out to the sad concrete patio. And they understood dementia better at Pacifica, were more aware and considerate about issues that arise (like his wanting to pack up every other week). Absolutely recommend Pacifica.

While working with [name removed] from A Place for Mom I toured seven or eight assisted living communities in the greater LA area and narrowed the choices for my 97 year-old mother to visit down to 2. After the visit to Hollywood Hills Pacifica she determined she needed to look no further. The facility is beautiful. Families are invited to participate in happy hour and other special days. My mother enjoys the interaction with the other community members and especially being able to get a manicure on site. [name removed] was a dream to work with in making the move. More importantly, my mom is happy.

I love how they treat her. Her room and others areas are always very clean. The staff is wonderful! Her care and med techs are great. Meals are given 2 choices and my Mom enjoys them! On activities she being 100 doesn't participate much. But they seem well organized. $$ is not over what seems reasonable for the care my Mom is receiving!

The decision was not taken lightly, but it's one we're grateful for every day. The care they receive here is exceptional and meets all our expectations. I am a caregiver for one of the residents at Hollywood Hills Pacifica. I visited several other communities before I placed my friend here. It provides him with a lovely living environment, as well as a caring and very communicative staff. All of them have been amazing as my friend can be challenging at times and they have been very understanding and compassionate in dealing with him. I would highly recommend this residence.

A week ago we had a crisis with our mom. Her possibility of finding a place that would accept her. I made a call to [name removed] and she and [name removed]. They jumped through hoops to help make my mom safe and comfortable and did it within 3 days. Customer service is amazing here. This is the place for your mom. You won't be disappointed.

I am completely happy with this facility. It is clean and well run. Although, my mom is very disappointed with the food lately. It was good at the beginning, but for a while now - they must've gotten new cooks - she says it comes out cold and tasteless and she's rarely happy with it. The staff is kind, helpful and friendly. The Director takes care of any issues right away. The cost is reasonable and even less expensive than other senior living places in nearby cities and the rent includes many extras that other senior living centers do not. My mom is happy there and I feel secure knowing she's living in a great place.

All the staff that I have encountered are very caring and helpful. My dad has taken to calling many of them his friends. The days are full of activities from crafts to "happy hour" Fridays. I appreciate that they have a non-denominational chapel service every Sunday, which my dad enjoys.

I have only been here one month and it already feels like home. The staff is wonderful and are available to help you with anything. The food is very good and is even getting better with the new chef. People are so friendly that they will stop you And ask if your new and introduced themselves and welcome you. There are many, many activities, so there is always something you can find to do and friends to be there and help you. I couldn’t be happier.

My brother moved to The Meridian last Friday. Since then, I have been told every day that he has moved into the Ritz Carlton! Why? The staff are phenomenal, friendly, helpful, supportive, kind and the list goes on (special thanks to [name removed]). The meals are nutritious and delicious with variety for every taste bud. One of the largest problems facing people today is loneliness. That will not happen at The Meridian! The activities range from educational and social events to games of all kinds, from time by the pool to movies in the theatre room; from excursions to Bible study -- there is definitely something for everyone. If you are looking for an independent living or assisted living community, The Meridian at Laguna Hills is the place to go!

I feel so blessed to have been directed to West Park. Our experience couldn't have been any better. It was a very smooth transition. West Park felt very homey & comfortable. I knew West Park would be the place as soon as I walked in & was greeted. The whole staff is amazing! We loved the sit down restaurant experience & the food was really good. (Which was important). The activities were really fun. I got to experience a few activities with my FIL. My FIL's room was very nice & clean with a beautiful view & balcony which he enjoyed. Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend keeping West Park on your list for senior living.
