Pacifica Senior Living

My 91 yo mother had a stroke and has been a resident of a SNF for the past 100 days. We have applied for ALW and are now waiting for an opening so I have been searching for a facility that can take good care of her. I met with Carline the sales director and she took me on a very nice tour of the facility. This place is very impressive! It's a larger facility but simply laid out so as not to cause anyone confusion. The cleanliness is above par. The dining room looks like a nice restaurant. The menu plan is well designed, and they have other options if the resident is in the mood for something different. They have a theater room, game room and many activities. When I arrived, there were many people getting into a large van to go to other locations. The rooms were very accommodating with plenty of room to move around. I know my mom would be happy here if they only had an opening!

The staff really cares and know their patients and it has been a smooth transition for my Dad. He really likes it there and loves sitting outside in the courtyard. My Dad has gain weight from eating well and getting his medicines consistently. When he lived alone I wasn't sure if he was eating consistently and I know he wasn't take his medicines correctly. I am very happy he is making friends, playing games, dancing and being cared for. I also like that Pacific is close to where I live with my family. Most importantly it gives more time with my son and his Papa.

Great experience, 1st time is a place like this. Enjoyed bingo.

It's a beautiful old building and location and she has a lovely corner apartment over looking a beautiful garden. It is a very good price for a 1 bedroom apartment in Pacific Grove. Was [removed] now went up to [removed] after a year.

My mom was previously a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Spring Valley and it was a wonderful place for her. Pacifica was a nice experience for my mom and for our family. My mom was taken care of by some very nice and compassionate caregivers. We were happy and comfortable with having our mom stay at Pacifica. I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Spring Valley to others.

I am so pleased with the services that my mother has been receiving at Pacifica. The community is clean, the food is delicious, has a great variety of activities and wonderful caring staff. The down fall is the business office director has messed up my mothers billing multiple times, has not cashed her rent payment on time more then once and is full of excuses. She never responds unless you go into the community to speak to her directly. If you have questions and want your questions answered the best people to go to are the Executive Director or sales Director.

Although my mom hasn't yet arrived, as each day nears, my anxiety rises. What if she is unhappy? What if she is difficult? What if, what if, what if? Every 'what if' I ask is calmly and compassionately answered by [name removed]. My confidence in her skills in handling my mom's transition and making her feel welcome and at home grows daily. Now, instead of worrying, I'm getting excited for my mom to start living her best senior life! Thanks to [name removed] and [name removed] for helping me make this difficult decision with kindness and understanding.

The lady who worked with me was awesome. She was engaging, personable and honest. The facility itself does not meet my needs. The building and infrastructure are old and tired. Window seals were broken so windows were cloudy. The rugs were clean but stained (in places) and outdated. The whole building needs a major renovation. I am also looking for an independent living option which they did not offer. I wanted full kitchen and laundry in the room.

Hello, I want to shout of the sales manager, Langley Jackson. Langley has a kind, caring, and compassionate heart for what she does. I’m having a hard time acknowledging my mother in laws care. My husband is thrilled we toured here first. Langley was patient and answered all the questions i had during my tour. At all the places I’ve toured, Langley has a heart for the seniors and not money. I will be choosing this community for mom in a few months. I want to add, Linda the front desk is welcoming and a happy women. Thank you a place for mom for referring.

Everyone at Tampa Gardens from [names removed] to all the caregivers and even both receptionists all know my Mom , [name removed], by name and care for her with the utmost respect and concern for her wellbeing. I truly appreciate every single person there including Mom's fellow residents who make her feel part of their group and treat her with kindness.

I love the Hollywood Hills Pacifica's facility, staff, management and care. They have good food for the residents, too! The management is very caring and thrives on listening and responding to their residents' concerns. They are NOT profit driven, which is a HUGE plus on the monthly room rate and service charges to families. The facility is designed beautifully for maximum sensory stimulation for memory and elderly clients. The building and grounds are immaculate. They have stimulating daily activities and outings. It is the best place for my sister to feel that she has a comfortable, safe and caring place to live. Everyone that I take there cannot believe the beauty of the place and her assigned room is actually a private apartment space, not a hospital like semi-private room like most places.

Toured the facility with [name removed], who was professional and personable, and did a fantastic job answering all our questions and giving us an insight as to all the great things that this facility has to offer. Impressed with the room layouts, interior decor, and outside amenities. I consider this facility to be the high standard for others to compare. Thank you very much.
