Very well presented and served, thank you! Food, however, was bland and chicken dry. Dessert was delicious!

My moms bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked, my brothers had to clean it a couple of times. The are great at contacting us with any questions or concerns. My mom seems to like the food and the portion sizes are large. They seem to watch a lot of TV at the community room, my mom was getting bored , took her word finding books and goes there ... So far the value is not too bad, we essentially picked it because the memory care was larger and had access to outside garden and fenced and well maintained. To be specific about what medications they can and cannot administer. My mom was on libre to check her sugar so no more pricking her finger- they said they do it there, then we found out it was only on the assisted living side - not memory care- it was too late - so we have to have my mom prick her fingers for blood glucose check. We love the gardens for the patients and families to enjoy...

I picked community because they have single homes, which was less expensive. I like that they have an on-site rehab facility. I am very happy here, and I enjoy it. They have wonderful people. I would recommend to others.

It is very nice. I love living here. There is all kind of things to do. And the staff is very nice.The apartments are all on one floor. In many buildings each has a screen porch and small kitchetet bath with walk in shower. Very nice.

While I appreciate that my Mom is in a safe environment, and seems happy and well cared for, it's disheartening that the rate is such that her savings will be gone with nothing to fall back on and no guarantee that there's going to be a Medicaid benefit acceptance at the facility. Assisted living was our only option for her care, otherwise she would be in my home. It's like paying for room and board at a low cost motel while paying a rate you would expect to pay at a 4 star or 5 star resort. The elderly are being taken advantage of by huge corporate concerns, in my opinion.

Our overall Experience has been good. My aunt is very happy there and has settled in very nicely. She complains some about the food but enjoys all of the activities and outings. They have bingo, cards, magic shows, music, exercise classes, different events every week from outside entertainment. Shopping excursions every week. Weekly luncheon out every Wednesday.

They have all seemed nice and helpful at this facility. [Name removed] seems a little all over the place, but he helped us get our loved one in before Pacifica Senior Living bought and took over Sun City Gardens. Housekeeping seems to keep the place clean. It really needs some updating and renovations. Some concrete is cracked outside, which could be a tripping hazard. They need more than one person to drive the community bus. My loved one has tried to sign up for it twice and the driver was not available. We haven't had any issues with communication with the staff. The meals are not anything special. I know they have just changed things up with Pacifica taking over. This facility is one of the more affordable places for seniors and families looking to help. Pacifica has taken over and have changed some things that residents and family are not happy about. If you want meals delivered now, it's [removed]$ per meal. Some residents there can't even afford toilet paper.

We have had a great experience at Meridian at Laguna Hills. Our family is happy our loved one is here. The staff communication with the family has been good, anytime we have questions about our loved one. I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones.

It's very difficult to get ahold of anyone there via phone. And there's no way (that we know of) to reach staff via email to see if anything is needed like Depends, wipes etc. we never know. And even when we visit there's a 50/50 we'll see anyone in charge in memory care section to ask questions. Nothing really specific they could improve on with the food, I think my loved one is just a picky eater.

I enjoy the new activities in the building. My favorite activity is the morning exercises. I also like to walk the grounds. I like the decorating sessions with flowers. I like to play cards, bingo and take the scenic rides.

The meals and activities prevented the overall score from being a 5. For activities they need to have more than just bingo and daily stretches. With the care they could have prompt response to request for assistance - that can be prolonged. Value for cost could be a 4.5 - for the accommodations and services provided, for that there is great value.

My mother selected Pacifica-Ft. Meyers prior to the progression of her failing memory. The accommodations, community, and activities have been as she had hoped. Through the adjustment required by the difficult labor/staff changes and CoVid, the Pacifica team has provided a passionate and caring environment. The social activities have been an especially positive experience for the residents, and the photos and newsletters provide an invaluable connection for families that cannot visit on a regular schedule. As is important, the management staff has retained the necessary controls to alleviate concerns for financial matters. My mother made a good decision to become a resident at Pacifica-Ft. Meyers.

My mom can't live with me for various reasons. Pacifica offers a variety of assisted living support that similar places do not offer. They are is taking good care on my mom.

It's a very good experience. The staff is very friendly. It's a safe place to place your loved one.

The main reason I moved here was because it was close to where I was living and my friends were nearby - but there is nothing to do here all day every day. There are no activities or social interaction between residents what so ever. I leave to go play cards elsewhere at night. It is very boring. That has ruined the experience for me, I cannot wait to move out.

We were very impressed with the facility. It is very clean and well-maintained. My father's unit is very nice and comfortable. The staff has been very responsive to our questions. One month after my father moved into the facility they implemented a new online rent paying system. It has been very challenging because there are a lot of quirks and the staff is trying to work them out. We are hopeful that they will get those things fixed and make it a much more streamlined process in the future. Overall I would rate the facility very high and would definitely recommend it to anyone else that might be interested in moving their parents there. I would say that the only thing negative about the facility is the food. But I know that's very common in assisted-living facilities.

It would be nice to have longer time frames for dinner to allow residents an opportunity to eat later, and to make sure there is enough food available for all the residents to eat. Dinner starts at 4:30. [Name removed] is awesome! Whenever you ask [name removed] to get something done, it gets done. This individual is a five star in my mind!

Our family had an in person tour with Pacifica Senior living and overall we did think it was a good community, the people there were very nice. The reason we did not pick it, is because they just did not have everything we were looking for

We picked this community, because it was the grounds at the facility, it's a lot of green space and on a lake. They could improve, on the transporation offered to the residents. I would recommend to other families.

Meridian at Laguna Hills is a five-star facility with great amenities, including a spa and hair salon. There is an independent wing and an assisted living wing, so they have the capability for people who are independent and have their own cars. The apartment is a good value for the money. I think they only thing I wild be careful about is their accounting processes need more efficiency and rigor.
