They really are dog-friendly and have a very nice garden that dogs can run around in. The total dog count at the moment is 7, all of them small. The main problem is that the place has recently changed ownership and the new administration hasn't completely settled in yet. But they are very friendly and I think they are doing as well as they can.

Meridian at Laguna Hills is a nice resort like atmosphere. Basic services for assisted living are reasonable; however, any further services (ie, medicine management) can make this location very expensive for the long term.

Everyone has been been super welcoming, and the caregivers have been exceptional. Overall, the experience has been very positive, and the transition was smooth.

Pacifica Encinitas perfectly met the needs for our mother who is unable to live alone but still quite independent. The staff is lovely and very cheerful and helpful with all needs! Staff is helpful and kind and are very patient!

My mom is a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Heritage Hills. The staff are excellent in caring for the residents and I feel more than anything that my mom is safe. I think the food is very good. I receive a monthly newsletter and also phone calls, as needed. I will definitely recommend Heritage Hills to family and friends.

The community was comfortable, friendly and clean.

I've been here for two years and Pacifica has been terrific for me. I consider the primary staff is cottage #1. To be genuine great good friends.

I am writing this review in praise of [name removed] who is sales director at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. [She] has been extremely helpful as we expressed interest in placing my mom in this facility; she is kind and was patient, answering all our questions, spending time with us describing the services and giving us a tour of the facility. We met with her three times onsite and communicated several times on the phone. We loved the apartment she showed us and the grounds are beautiful. After consideration my mom who suffers from macular degeneration decided to move into a different facility that is smaller in size and in a closer location to the family.

The communication with the family was very good during the application process, but not as good after the resident has moved in. The food is not great and they have policies on holidays of just delivering box lunches, which is difficult for residents who do not have family in the area to take them out for the holiday. The meals are mediocre. Attention to my loved one's medical needs has been pretty good. The activities could be expanded as there seems to be just the basics of bingo and once a week happy hours. I have suggested other options that might be more to my loved one's interests, such as baking days as they have a group kitchen, or gardening activities, which my loved one would love. These have not been very forthcoming. My loved one also has complaints about the front door not working properly and this has not been responded to. As my loved one needs to go out the front door to walk her dog and is in a wheelchair, this is a bit troubling.

We toured Monte Vista Village during our search for Independent Living for my mother. This facility seemed like a very good place. The cleanliness and friendliness was very good. Beautiful property!

The facility has an excellent team in place that are professional and care well for the daily needs of the residents -medications, housekeeping, friendliness etc. Unfortunately, unless initiated by the family, there is no communication after the resident has moved in. This weakness and others relating to the move-in experience can be easily remedied with administrative attention and intention. We would recommend the facility 100% with a single caveat- new resident integration into Woodmark life. Though we were told the Activity Director would engage with our brother, a reclusive personality, to encourage participation there was no follow through or contact to encourage involvement. Additionally, we were told he'd be partnered with a more social resident to help him meet people. After the first meal introduction, sadly that relationship never developed nor was he encouraged to sit with other people. We also assumed he would be given a tour of what is available and how he could use the facilities. Last week I showed him the gym area, which I was surprised to hear he had never seen. Bottom line, everything is in place for care but the introductory days are sorely lacking.

The experience with the community, has overall been quite good. The only issue is recent ownership change and poor communication to residents and families.

As with many places they experienced staffing issues and I am not sure I feel like the reality is as the sales associate portrayed it. My loved one spent a big part of every day there with my other loved one so I believe they were able to make sure our loved one got what they needed or family would have helped. Not sure how it would be if the family is less involved.

Overall you get a lot for the price here. We have just been disappointed with the amount of turnover in the staff and also with the taste and variety of the food that is served to residents. But I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Rancho Penasquitos to others looking.

It is independent living so we cannot comment on care services, meals and dining and activities. Areas of improvement is that there are no ovens, microwave or venting in the small kitchens. No venting, tub in bathroom but otherwise we are happy. There is a vent in kitchen ceiling but no fan to move the odors out - we are just comparing this to an old apartment we had. Bathroom has no outside window along with no vent. A hood and power vent would be good in kitchen along with oven. We are using a toaster oven. In bathroom shower only with no vent is a concern for mold. Otherwise it's a nice place in a great location. The activities director is very friendly but we are limited to what we can participate in

All of the staff members are very helpful, the food is good and nutritious. The building is nice and kept clean. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Meridian at Stone Creek to other families.

I toured with Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley and it has two buildings. The rooms in one and meals and activities in the other. That set up was not going to work out well for our mother. Plus, there was no outdoor courtyard or area to sit enjoy the weather. These are the main reasons we did not choose Pacifica.

The staff have been very friendly to me and the lunches I have eaten here have been quite good. There does need to be more emphasis on improving the dinner meals. It is good to see activities increasing and there seems to be a wide assortment of things to do here.

My mother in law moved to Meridian a few years ago. She has embraced assisted living better than I would have ever thought. She's involved in activities (bingo, Mexican train domino's, crafting, card making, etc) and outings (plays & restaurants). I've eaten with my mother in law at Meridian at least 20 times over the past, and everything I've personally had has been delicious. They are in the process of getting new chairs for the dining room which will make a great change.
