The grounds are pleasant with lakes, geese and places to sit. The dining room is lovely. There are several. The food is very good. Room sizes are decent, fairly large competitively.

Staff is caring and very helpful. We chose this facility because of the yard and the ability for my mom to walk outside as she wanted freely.

Staff is friendly and greets each resident by name.

I love that Spring Valley is only a memory care facility, and it is not an add on like a lot of other places. I would strongly recommend Spring Valley. The residents were interacting staff and each other, and they were so helpful with completing all the paperwork and their prices were more reasonable.

The staff is outstanding and the caregivers do all they can to make your loved one happy and comfortable

Communication is sometimes lacking. Most of the staff are very busy & it is difficult to know just what maybe going on. Overall they do a good job & are friendly. I would give [name removed] & [name removed] good marks at going out of their way to be helpful.

1. Overall it is a nice facility with upgrades being done. 2. The facility looks clean but could improve the flowerbeds with more mulch. 3. Everybody, both staff and residents, is very friendly and welcoming. 4. I am independent and have no need for care at the moment so cannot comment on that. 5. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. 6. Food is good for the most part but could be a bit more spiced up to make it tastier. 7. Activities are pretty good but basic; puzzles, bingo, Rummikub, Mexican train, hand crafts, yoga, walking and Friday Happy Hour sometimes with entertainment. 8. I feel it is a bit over the top, but then I hate to cook so I'm not complaining. Definitely worth it to me!!

Very friendly residents and staff. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment and is pleased with the layout and closet space. It's not a plush facility but very livable and affordable for what's provided. Can attend activities in both assisted & independent living.

The community is well run, the people are great, and a lot of the other residents are interesting folks. The building is a bit dated, they are trying to fix that slowly but it is hard without disrupting the residents too much. The location is also just OK

[name removed] is the front desk person and she absolutely makes The Gardens wonderful! She is friendly and warm to every resident and welcomes all with a bright smile. [name removed] answers all of my questions and is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Her personality lights up The Gardens and we are thankful for her presence.

Transition good and bad, didn’t always get the same information or none at all. Unit nice , food and menu better than previous facility. Eating hours less than desirable for those that like to sleep in… adjustment for individual schedule. Overall more positive than negative. Would recommend facility… I have pretty high expectations.

Please note that they have recently reorganized or sold to new management. Some things have improved, but I still can not get anyone to return a call or address an issue without physically going to the office. After 1 year, I have never received a medical evaluation. Numerous requests have been made.

My loved one moved in just now. Very helpful and nice staff who welcomed my sister. When told about the issues in the room and hall they were addressed immediately. Sales Director was very helpful and kind.

Very friendly. Always called back. Sometimes wish they were a little more proactive. My brother is a resident and likes the weekly shopping trips. He not overly happy with the food but I have eaten there a couple times and thought it was decent.

They are all very friendly. When you come to see the place, [name removed] is extremely helpful. Unfortunately the communication to family is lacking. Very difficult to get information on health from the in house Dr. and or staff.

-New Years Eve: She went to Urgent Care. Then there were about ten phone calls just to get her a ride back. -Outings: There hasn't seemed to have been any or just not well communicated / easy. -The billing has been an issue, not a huge deal, just annoying. Room was nice / good size. In memory care we were disappointed with activities: didn't seem to be many. The outdoor area they have also doesn't feel outdoor no sky.

Every staff member we have come across has been hospitable, nice, caring and attentive to my family and patient needs. My parent has been well taken care of during the challenges that he faces. The clean and warm environment was a big factor in chosing Pacifica. The staff cares about their patients and that is comforting to the family when this can be a difficult an emotional transition. My rating of 4 stars has to do with the communication piece with outside agencies such as Hospice. This process could use some improvement. Overall we have been happy with my parents care.

My mother has been a resident for nine months. She has received excellent care and attention, but there are a few areas of concern that should be addressed. First, the food. Based on the amount of money she spends every month, the quality of food should be better. Every day I hear her complain about the quality. She's not the only one, either. Her friends make it clear to me as well! Something needs to be done with the kitchen staff - more needed to serve in a timely fashion and improvement to the selection and taste. Secondly, I realize you're looking for a new Activities Director, but these residents need to be more active. They should be entertained more often with special events/performers and other activities to fill their lonely days. Lastly, some of the staff's attitudes need to improve - be kinder to the residents. Let your smile reflect the pleasant atmosphere of the facility.

Realizing that an elderly parent needs help is not an easy thing. Taking them and leaving them at a facility that is unfamiliar and confusing to them is even harder. The staff at Sun City Senior Living have gone out of their way to invite my father in as a resident and help guide me towards a comfort zone. The Sales Director has gone out of her way to make me feel comfortable. From the 1st day, my dad checked in, she maintained open communication with me and addressed any hesitations. As with anything new, some situations came up that needed attention. The executive director immediately attended to my needs and requests. His door is always open and his smile and personality are so inviting that he makes you feel that you can go to him for anything. This has been a warm welcome and I would highly recommend the facility to anyone.

This is a lovely place. So pleasant and peaceful management has been helpful and accommodating. Move-in day is just ahead. Feeling like all will go well and Dad will fit right in.
