Pacifica Senior Living

We toured the facility and the staff is fantastic, the place is older and could really use some touch ups. Water stains on the ceilings, need some paint and general maintenance of the facility. Floors, walls and bathroom caulking. Outside these em's to be a bit of wood rot.

We do like the convenience of the location. The activities are nice. The food could definitely be better. We would recommend Pacifica Senior Living to other families, but I think it would all depend on the needs of the end individual.

Place is very clean resident seem happy in the say room, craft areas.

The staff is friendly and helpful from the sales staff to the care givers. Our sales director, [name removed], went above and beyond to get us into a room as soon as possible. He still checks in with mom off and on. The resident care director is great. They provide transportation to doctors appointments. [name removed]the bus driver is very friendly and helpful. All the rooms are spacious, and the AC works great. The care givers are friendly and usually timely to respond to requests for help. There have been instances where she's had to wait over an hour before someone responded. The food is good but could use some improvement. Some dishes are better than others. Sometimes the food has been cool when served, especially in the smaller dining room. Overall, we would recommend Pacifica to someone looking for a place to live.

Overall I'm pleased with Tampa Gardens Senior Living but the vegetarian meal options are kinda mediocre sometimes.

Skilled and affable staff. Pretty good time response for request for assistance. Communication between departments or tasks could be better I suppose as in most institutions. Otherwise, I give Pacifica of b+ to a-.

Very friendly staff, great value, overall I would recommend for someone living on a tight budget. We picked this community, because first was it is conveniently located to her doctor's offices and shopping. Second was price and amenities. And because she has a dog.

I wish there was more staff. They seem a little short of staff. I heard from my uncle that a lot of people have left. The food is not so great all the time.

The beautiful Courtyard in the center of this facility makes it feel much less institutional: flowers, vegetables, a pond & walkways The administration is excellent, but spread too thin. The staff changes pretty frequently, but all do a very nice, caring job.

I would say overall the residents seem happy and cared for. Repairs are constant and frequent staff changes and conditions have declined a bit in the last year. They could use a little improvement on the quality of foods being served. It seems to have declined recently.

We had some issues with their evaluation and price increase based on that. Had no notification or explanation of an evaluation by Pacifica taking place and we were billed early because of that. We did get an explanation after, but with the yearly increase and that increase, it went up [fee removed] a month. A bit hard to take all at once. We are not sure about the meals and dining services but it must be good as she has gained weight. Maria seems happy and well cared for.

Staff is friendly and caring. Like the smaller cottages. More of a home feel than a facility. The activities are ok but not as advertised. The food is not very good at all. My mom complains about it daily.

Staff treat residents with dignity and respect! Know how to handle aggressive behaviors. Try to meet needs of individual residents. Need better communication with families of residents. Try to engage residents in various activities! Offer many fun special events for residents and their families. Dining room has a restaurant feel with 4 top tables and good food choices.

Pacifica Vista is a bright, friendly place where the staff genuinely care about your loved one.

After falling down the steps at my two story home and breaking my left enable I was sent to a facility that was satisfaction my husband found gardens and two PT's who helped me to walk. I've felt pampered here. good food, friendly caregivers, activities and exercise every day.

Although the complex is going through renovations, there is always overflowing trash, the hall carpets are stained and old. Additionally there is always trash in the parking lot. We also have found that the maintenance requests aren't completed in a timely manner and we have to constantly call up to the front desk to ensure they get completed. Overall, we like the staff they are very friendly and helpful. It's a very quiet and nice place.

My Mom loves it here! They don't clean the rooms very well. Everyone is very friendly! Many of the staff speak Spanish making it hard to understand. Food is good! Lots of activities! They raised the room price by [fee removed], care by [fee removed] and now charge [fee removed] for laundry service, this is all within the last year.

From our only negative experience with Pacifica, my recommendation to all assisted living community administrators and potential residents... be sure they have an emergency plan in place to follow in the event of any power outages with immediate welfare checks to all residents just in case anyone suffered an injury as a result. My mother needed to use the restroom while the power was out and the room was completely dark. She became disoriented and fell. She tried using her emergency alert neck remote several times over several hours, but there was no power backup for the system, so her calls went unrecorded. She was not discovered until later in the morning, still seated on the cold floor. It was a rather traumatic experience for her. But outside of that event, we found the facility and staff to be top notch.
