They are all very friendly. When you come to see the place, [name removed] is extremely helpful. Unfortunately the communication to family is lacking. Very difficult to get information on health from the in house Dr. and or staff.

-New Years Eve: She went to Urgent Care. Then there were about ten phone calls just to get her a ride back. -Outings: There hasn't seemed to have been any or just not well communicated / easy. -The billing has been an issue, not a huge deal, just annoying. Room was nice / good size. In memory care we were disappointed with activities: didn't seem to be many. The outdoor area they have also doesn't feel outdoor no sky.

Every staff member we have come across has been hospitable, nice, caring and attentive to my family and patient needs. My parent has been well taken care of during the challenges that he faces. The clean and warm environment was a big factor in chosing Pacifica. The staff cares about their patients and that is comforting to the family when this can be a difficult an emotional transition. My rating of 4 stars has to do with the communication piece with outside agencies such as Hospice. This process could use some improvement. Overall we have been happy with my parents care.

My mother has been a resident for nine months. She has received excellent care and attention, but there are a few areas of concern that should be addressed. First, the food. Based on the amount of money she spends every month, the quality of food should be better. Every day I hear her complain about the quality. She's not the only one, either. Her friends make it clear to me as well! Something needs to be done with the kitchen staff - more needed to serve in a timely fashion and improvement to the selection and taste. Secondly, I realize you're looking for a new Activities Director, but these residents need to be more active. They should be entertained more often with special events/performers and other activities to fill their lonely days. Lastly, some of the staff's attitudes need to improve - be kinder to the residents. Let your smile reflect the pleasant atmosphere of the facility.

Realizing that an elderly parent needs help is not an easy thing. Taking them and leaving them at a facility that is unfamiliar and confusing to them is even harder. The staff at Sun City Senior Living have gone out of their way to invite my father in as a resident and help guide me towards a comfort zone. The Sales Director has gone out of her way to make me feel comfortable. From the 1st day, my dad checked in, she maintained open communication with me and addressed any hesitations. As with anything new, some situations came up that needed attention. The executive director immediately attended to my needs and requests. His door is always open and his smile and personality are so inviting that he makes you feel that you can go to him for anything. This has been a warm welcome and I would highly recommend the facility to anyone.

This is a lovely place. So pleasant and peaceful management has been helpful and accommodating. Move-in day is just ahead. Feeling like all will go well and Dad will fit right in.

We picked them because of the location. I would recommend to others and I hope the construction is over soon.

I like that most people are friendly. The head administrator is a caring person. She listens to our issues to help solve them. What needs improvement is heating and air. Would like more activities.

We were attracted to them, because of living convenience compared to comparable prior experience. I would recommend to others.

My mom was a resident in the memory care cottage for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately she passed away. The service that the caregivers and staff provided was great. Anything we asked of them they were able to provide. My only complaint if anything would be the assistance with feeding my mom needed. If we were not there to feed her, the food was just sitting on the tray. She was unable to feed herself and most of the time didn’t even realize that food or drink was there. Other than that. We were pleased.

My dad moved in a few months ago. The price was good compared to other memory care communities. The facility is laid out nicely and rooms are big. Semi private rooms are especially nice because even though they share a bathroom they have their own entrance to their room. The help has been the hard part. They have struggled with employment and consistency. Many times residents are unattended or when an employee is present there is little to no interaction with residents. There aren’t regular activities going on. I’ve seen other communities where employees actually care about their residents, and there are consistent activities. There is little communication with family. Rooms/bathrooms are not regularly cleaned and sanitized to a minimum standard. I have given feedback and am hopeful this will change because it has so much potential to be a great community.

I am very happy with the staff, and the overall quality, and condition of Chesapeake Place. Very clean and pleasant. My mom absolutely loves it there! I highly recommend it! It was very easy getting my mom in and the admission staff was extremely helpful!

Staff is very professional and has care down to an organized science. This does not seem to take away from TLC. Our resident has been improving ever since she moved in and is very happy. We are very grateful to the whole staff for providing a safe, clean, caring, happy place for our aging loved ones.

The facility and staff were pleasant. All questions were answered thoroughly.

The staff is amazing. Very helpful when we need anything. This is based on her level. I don't know or see the next level that my mom will eventually need. My family and I have had the food there - the Chef is next level. In the spring, Pacifica lost the most amazing Activities Director and has had difficulty replacing her - with anyone. I notice the decline the residents - I visit weekly. If they are posting any photos, they must be old ones. Activities were definitely at the top of the search list last year. They recently raised the cost by [fee removed]. With no activities director. They also have recently lost their Executive Director. I was told the new one was starting this past Monday, but I haven't met them yet.

1. Overall experience is a 4. The move in was a little bumpy as they didn't seem to be quite ready. 2. Facility is very clean- 5 no odd odors. 3. Friendliness- 5 everyone is friendly from maintenance staff to housekeepers, caregivers and admin staff 4. Quality of care-staff seem to care but my expectations aren't being met due to what I believe is shortage of staff. Caregivers are required to serve meals and do cleanup which I feel takes them away from care for the residents. Administration says they want to have a family feel to meal time but I think the kitchen staff should be doing cleanup. 5. Administrators are nice and want to help but I feel they are limited in decision making by corporate management. Such as hiring more staff . 6. Food is good-4 pretty consistently. Choices are offered if main menu is not suitable. 7. Activities are available but my loved one does not participate. 8. Value for money- 3-is less than other facilities but is smaller also which is not a concern for us. We love the grounds and decor if common areas, dining area is very nice. We love the smaller cottages opposed to a larger complex.

The staff here are friendly and helpful. The activity director [name removed] is always committed to provide fun events and decorations for the Holiday and the different seasons of the year. She makes the events enjoyable and gets folks here to participate at social events. We really notice & miss her sparkle when she is not at the music events. The staff members are always ready to give assistance. A real plus to make one feel comfortable here.

Overall my experience with them has been pretty good. They could do little better on keeping his room clean, especially the bathroom. I will say the staff is very friendly. The care is adequate. [name removed] doesn't talk much and doesn't complain about the food. They have activities for the residents, but unfortunately [name removed] doesn't participate. The cost is comparable with other places in the area that I looked into.

Friendly staff, clean housing. The only thing Mom complained about was the quality and taste of the food.
