We find strangers become friends when you are friendly and make an effort to remember names. Activities are posted in a monthly calendar. Movies, classes, lectures, arts and crafts, etc. Lots of walkways, a large pool and many benches to rest on as well as a shaded patio with fans. After dinner live musical entertainment several times a week. Small pets are allowed if you are able to care for them. We are both in our early 80’s and I was more than ready for three meals a day to be cooked for me.

The staff very friendly, the lady in charge, not so much. With Hospice, my Mom was safe, no longer alone, and was in the best place we could find. They did a good job, especially when she was in her last days, and many bathroom accidents. They did not stick to the plan in her last days to be checked on every two hours. I would recommend them. Nothing is perfect, but I felt the staff made a big difference. Also, they were very good with revising invoices when there were questions of the level of care.

They would not re-evaluate medical care level after requesting it three times during the eighteen months there. Charged extra $2000. A month when all they had to do was feed and give daily medication. Showering, dressing, eating required no assistance.

My Mother passed away on [date removed] at 100 years old. Since Monte Vista was taken over by Pacifica it sent down hill. They threatened us by saying she had to move asap. I have filed a complaint. Not a happy customer. They lied to me on numerous occasions. My opinion will be before Pacifica took over - This is when Monte Vista owned it, when Pacifica took over-0. Nurses left maintenance workers left cooks left. My Mothers rent from [fee removed] a month to [fee removed] a month. We asked why in less than 1 week rent went from [fee removed] to [fee removed]? I am filing a complaint with Social Services. I don't like threats to me. I can go on and on but I won't/ I am waiting right now for a representative to call me/ Also my Mothers roommate died three days after my Mother left the facility. She was in great health and not like my Mother at all. She was waiting for a apartment to come up

The people there are awesome and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families

My husband would have benefited from more stimulation. He was mentally alert with all his facilities but physically totally dependent. The staff were wonderful, so kind and caring. But he was in the memory care unit because of his level of care. Sitting in front of the constant TV with severely dementia patients wasn't the answer. The unit itself was originally very dark and drab but it was receiving a makeover which could only help. There needed to be more activities, gatherings in the patio areas, music activities etc.

I would say beautiful facility, great dining and food . Staff is hit or miss . Some are super nice and caring while others are mean and lazy . For the price I would recommend it . It is affordable and better than many other facilities in the area .

The staff at Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville are friendly. The housekeeping and the communication with the family are both good. The move in process was super easy. The food is good. There are lots of activities that families can attend. I recommend sewing name labels on clothing or using fabric paint, sharpie fades after a few washes. I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville to others.

The reason we give the quality of care a 3 is because the wrong meds were given to our loved one. He was only there a few months before he passed away. The biggest positive was the staff that work directly with him were very caring and you could tell actually are there because they care, it's not just a job. Biggest negative was communication back to us from the administrative staff. My mother would have to physically go there to be able to talk to someone.

Pacifica Senior Living has great staff members but there is just not enough of them. The meals in general are ok, but being able to order a meal that is not on that day's menu is good. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My loved one was previously a resident at Kenmore Senior Living. I would recommend this facility for anyone who fits the facility based on their needs/what they are looking for.

My mother moved into an independent living apartment at HHP four months ago. It was an arduous task finding the best place for my mother, who is a very independent person and formerly in the medical field. After touring several facilities, we found our way to HHP. Jana Mahaney met with us and gave us a tour of the facilities and Residence. She answered all of our questions with honesty & depth and the utmost patience. Her positive attitude and genuine personality absolutely put both my mother and me at ease. As we went forward with the application process, [name removed] made herself available to answer more questions and took great care of us. We never felt we were bothering her, and she maintained the perfect combination of professionalism and genuine support. I can’t say enough good things about her. She represents HHP in the best way!

FRIENDLY STAFF MEMBERS IS A MAJOR PLUS. GREAT ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR. "CHICKEN" SERVED TOO OFTEN IN MEALS COMMEDABLE CHOICES FOR MAJOR ACTIVITIES + HAPPY HOURS MUSIC GROUPS.

Mom is having some adjusting to do from her experience at the other place. She really liked the first place but it was too expensive . The place is kept clean, no complaints. My interactions with the staff have been good and seems ok with mom. She said the meals don't compare to the ones at the first place (community name removed) as far as taste and quantity. Mom doesn't think the staff responds quick enough when she pushes her call button. I spoke with head nurse and she told me they respond in order of importance but I'm not sure how that is determined. She feels the cost is high here too. She said the activities are OK. I agree with her that they were better at [community name removed], but there seems to be more field trips where she's at now and it's easier to request transportation here because the other place is much bigger and filled up fast

The grounds of the facility are pleasant. As the name, Wyndham Lakes suggests, there are a couple of pretty lakes. There are geese on the property that add to its nature theme. Staff are helpful and friendly. The room size is very decent. They can be slow on maintenance at times, but do respond after assertive inquiries.

It is the best facility in Palm Springs.

First off let me say even though she initially brought up the subject of assisted living, my mother was not very enthusiastic about the idea when it became a reality. That being said, A Place for Mom was very helpful with Communities and other resources. Pacifica-Forest Trace was one of several Communities we toured and my mom really liked it. The original plan was for her to move into a shared apartment but the next day a 1/1 opened up and it was beautiful as well as reasonable compared to other Communities in the area. They have plenty of activities and outings to keep residents occupied and the grounds are kept in good condition. Prior to residing at Forest Trace, my mom was pretty much isolated and now she gets out and socializes regularly. Even though she is still adjusting to the Community, my mom is now aware she is in a much better place.
