I had a tour of Atria Meridan and I liked it very much . Wesley is great. I went 2 times to bring my daughters.

Grandma's loving it there, she's being well taken care of, they're catering to her with every need that she has and they've been wonderful to her. As far as I know I think a housekeeper comes in once a week, she has a pain management where they take care of her pills for her and it's going well. We haven't had any issues with it because they have a person that takes care of it for her as far as prescriptions and things are concerned. My uncle had recommended this place because his wife had a family member who had lived there. My grandma particiaptes in lots of activities, she really enjoys her roommate, she says the food is really wonderful, she has a guinea pig so everyone loves that. All in all she's having a great time there, making new friends and interacting with the community.

It's independent living, no assisted living or skilled nursing but it's been home to my mom for awhile. Its a palce I would certainly recommend without any reservation whatsoever. She's on her own but whatever she needs they take care of. They feed her in the dining room, she has her buds that she spends time with and they have all kinds of activities that she partakes in. Before she moved there she was living by herself and wasn't doing real well, she didn't like cooking for one, but now she gets fed and doesn't worry. You can have pets, she doesn't, but the other people there all love her and they look out for each other.

The cleanliness is a four because they're remodeling right now. They have a lot of activities but it's getting my dad ot participate that's the hard part. They have all kinds of stuff. They're having a barbeque this week and they have trips to walmart, trips to church, trips to shopping and the doctor's offices. It's a great place. My dad likes it. He said the food is good but they serve too much chicken he said, but he doesn't like chicken.

I was very impressed with this place as well. It was a very close second (actually, it would be closer to the truth to say it was a very close first).

They've been great. Great people, great facility and a great experience all the way around!

I am very pleased with Emeritus at Northridge. They bend over backwards to make it happen and accommodate our needs. We were under time constraints and had to find a community fast. The entire staff from the director on down are just awesome. They make it an easy transition and really executed everything perfectly. It just all fell into place. Nick from A Place for Mom was just excellent and very helpful. I am so pleased with Emeritus and APFM that I would recommend them both to anyone.

Everything is very nice. They come in and clean everything on schedule. It's all working really well. The staff are wonderful! My husband is diabetic and he needs somone to monitor his insulin four times a day and they do that on schedule. The nurses are efficient and polite. We don't participate in the activites much but they're certianly availalbe. People have a variety of choices. We like it a lot and are very happy. No complaints at all!

Excellent! You're getting what you pay for over there. The care is excellent. It's a very good caring staff and they get the things done that need to be done. There are not tons of activites but there are a few everyday. My mother-in-law loves them. They play bingo, have movie night with popcorn, excercise and coffee hour every morning, and they have other games too. They cover a wide range of things. It's all been very positive. She likes the people, she likes the food. She said to me "I cannot find anything wrong!"

It's a very, very nice facility - it's very clean, very well taken care of. The staff pays close attention to him and seems to give him a lot of care. The lady who does the marketing seems to be very well-informed, and I was able to do this over the phone (I'm in Kansas and he's in California, so there were a lot of logistics to take care of) very confidently. They've been very helpful to my mother as well, and helped to re-unite them. She had been taking care of him on her own before we moved him to the Emeritus and they've been very supportive of her since he moved in. I couldn't be more pleased, and I feel really good about this decision. His extended

My mom is doing the adult day care and she so looks forward to going there. She's at 2 days a week and we might be going to 3. It's really good care and the staff is great. The activities are geared towards their level which I think is why she enjoys it so much. She likes the interaction with the other people, the staff and residents. She likes having lunch there and she loves the mystery rides. She's easy to please but she likes to stay busy. Every couple of hours they have a new activity - it keeps them engaged. She needs the activity and we need the break! If there was any downside at all it's that it's not big enough yet, but it will be. Actually my mother-in-law is going to be going there soon too.

They are very, very, very expensive comparatively. The are also very accommodating. The transition for my father went very smoothly. He is very happy there. I would recommend them. For activities, they have pretty much everything within the facility from ice cream socials to happy hours to games. It's really nice what they do on birthdays. They have a huge party for all the residents during that birthday month. It's really nice.

My parents have been there for two weeks. They haven't really been involved in the activities yet. So far everybody in the place is very friendly and caring. They're good listeners. They look for ways to solve the problems that you face. I'm very happy with them. My dad likes the variety of the food. He's actually gained a couple of pounds which is good; he needed it. Mom has good day and bad days but she has that in her house too. She's adjusting. The residents are very supportive. They offer 3 meals a day and transportation. Carrington Pointe gave us the biggest unit size for a reasonable amount of money. It was the best choice for us.

They have activities going on here at Cottages everyday. The cost is about $4,000 a month. They have been in business for about 8 years. They have different cottages for different levels of needs, so it is nice because your loved one is placed with residents of similar abilities. Would have chose this community but it was not conveniently located for us.

This place is just what my mother wanted. A small of enough community so she will not get lost in the shuffle, but large enough to have an ample amount of diversity. Friendly and conscientious staff administers the place well.

I'd rate them a 6 if I could. They do everything well. I think the one thing that caught my eye the most was when I went to tour, the owner himself conducted the tour and he knew the residents by name. He treated them like family. THe grounds are well kept and the building is in good repair. The staff is just as good as the owner Very good services for the prices. They provide a wide range of services. They provide an excellent range of activities.

I think the price is fair becuase they're all kind of expensive so I'm happy with it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's not too large where you have to walk far to get to dining hall which is a big plus for my mom. I also liked that you don't have to buy your unit. This was better for us to have a month to month rent with all the same types of services. My mom is thrilled with the exercise classes and they take the residents to the store on a regular basis with their shuttle. My parents are thrilled and I am too.

I don't know how they can provide those sevices for $3000 a month. It's amazing. They are so attentive and the food is wonderful. The activites are diversified and the people running them seem really nice. The climate is wonderful and it's close to the beach and freeways. It feels like one big family when you're there. I'm sure it's more expensive than others but I still can't believe they provide what they do for that price. We haven't been there a long time, but it's been wonderful.

My mother has Alzheimer's and is doing as well as can be expected. The community has always been very clean and the beds are made every day. It's a nice, small facility which makes it very personal. The nurse is amazing and calls often, about everything, which might bother some people but for us, it's been good. They have an amazing activities director - there are activities all day. It's perfect. It keeps my mother occupied. The activities vary from group singing to parachute activities to seating exercises to bingo and word games. They start of every day with a beauty hour. The residents get their nails done and make up done. It makes them feel like they're starting the day well. It is expensive, but I know every place is expensive.
