I'm very happy right now. They have have been very helpful. They are extremely receptive to you. They are so good, they really are. I love the clients and the smallness of it. I really love the friendliness of the staff, you don't feel like you're an outsider. My only complaint is that the food isn't that appealing to me, and even then I would still give them a 3.5 or a 4 on that.

It's a wonderful facility. The food is good. The maintenance guy is right there to help. The mail system sometime gets mixed up, if they could sort the mail better that would be the only thing I can think of that could be done better. It's phenomenal!

My mother has now been at Vista Village for 12 months, Anyone reading this would know this is the most stressful time in a person's life. Finding peace of mind in a place to send a parent, along with the financial stress of being able to afford it almost pushed me to the end. I live in Carlsbad and looked at every place within 10 miles, and I do mean every place!!!I O toured ever place in North County over a 4 month period. It was a very tasking job but one that I had to do. Vista Village by far provided the best services at the best price. I visit my mother who has advanced Alzheimer's 5 days a week. I show up at all hours of the day and night. I have found their staff and care of my mother to be second to none. I have never felt like a number and always feel like everyone there really cares for her in a very personal deep way. The care they show sometimes almost leaves me in tears. Andre is the supervisor of the memory care unit and I challenge you to find anyone more devoted and caring for your parent than Andre. His devotion goes well beyond what any job would ever require. The Director in charge of Vista Village Charlie, probably knows more about this disease than any PHD or Dr you could ever meet. I recently referred a dear friend of mine to Vista Village for his mother and he came back saying " that Charlie is smarter than Einstein when it comes to his knowledge regarding care for seniors" I strongly encourage anyone considering Vista Village to ask to spend 5 minutes with Charlie and your search will be over forever. I can only give Vista Village the highest praise for the care, consideration and concern. I once again sleep at night knowing that my mother lives in the best possible condition. I am thankful every day I visit, that I found Vista Village and have entrusted them with the care of my most precious mother. You will find every single member of their staff will always go the extra yard to provide care above and beyond expectations. Special Praise to Ruby and Merrisa over in memory care for their outstanding treatment of my mother . There is simply not enough space on here to praise all the people at Vista Village and the care they provide 365 days a year without fail or excuse. I thank Vista Village from the bottom of my heart for all they do on a daily basis to allow me to sleep again at night

Greetings, First and foremost, my senior advisor at A Place for Mom was incredible! We had never had to look for this and she made it so much better. My uncle has no one but us and he is thrilled and engaged at Wyndham Lakes. I wrote a letter to the Executive Director at Wyndham Lakes only 5 days after my uncle moved in. The sales person was and remains incredible and the staff in general. We are so pleased and truly believe this will be great for him.

For the short time I have been living there, I find the staff very caring, they tend to your every need. I a am glad that I choose Atria Meridian .

Visited in January - Very nice facility, with an interesting layout. Traci was very knowledgeable and helpful. Up to speed on Dementia requirements. All things considered, my #2 at this time.

My mother has now been at Pacifica for 2 months and we love it! My brother is moving up to New Jersey and discussed moving my mother. Yet upon checking similar living facilities as Pacifica in New Jersey I found that nothing even came close to Pacifica. Pacifica has their dementia unit segregated into three sections, beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Each section houses a maximum of fourteen residents housed in ground level cottages catered by 2 full time 24 X 7 care takers all enclosed in a secure compound. Residents have the capability of strolling from one cottage to another within the floral/treed compound. Pacificia actively keeps their residents involved with various events helping to stimulate their mental capabilities.

Because she has Alzheimer's and COPD and chronic bronchitis and chronic phuemonia, I needed a facility to accommodate those needs, so that as she progressed with the Alzheimer's I wouldn't have to look for a whole new facility to accommodate her needs. Emeritus allowed her to move within the same facility to make life a little easier. That is really the reason why I picked them. There are very few facilities that have different stages for people who have Alzheimer's. Also, they have a rehab facility so my mother has been able to do rehab right on the premises. She seems to be happy on the days that I speak to her, but there's little things that I feel that they lack on. When trying to get the Veteran's Benefits processed, I had to call them five times before they finally mailed it. That was a little bit too much, but eventually they got it done and they did apologize. The other issue that I have is that the screen is ripped in her room, and they have been saying since August that they would fix it. Opposite of that, any time that my mother is sick, I get a phone call, which is great. If I had to pick between getting a screen fixed or knowing that she is being taken care of, I am glad to know that she is being well taken care of. It is a large facility, they have about 150 patients. At Emeritus the patients wear on their wrist an alarm or a button so that people can come and see what the problem is. All the residents have one. There is also one in the bathroom. She had an incident where she got very short of breath making her bed, and when she realized that she was in distress, no one was coming. I know that when you are distressed like that, a couple of seconds feels like hours, so I really don't know how long it was. I was annoyed initially. I left a message for the director asking if there is a problem with her alert button, and she didn't call me back to say that they have replaced it. Being that this is the first time that anyone of my generation has had to put a parent into a facility, this is all new to us. I don't know if this is normal or if it's what is supposed to be going on. There are a couple difference that I noticed from the facilities that I visited on Long Island, for example, it's $3000 for level one care in assisted living, which is considerably cheaper. They allow pets. It also seems like there are a lot more people in scooters, and I have no idea why that it. What matters is that my mom is happy there, and I think that she is.

My mom is pretty happy there. That was a really good adaption for here. We didn't go through any struggles. We're thoroughly happy with them. I can't find anything wrong. My mom is 92 and she has ample activities to do if she wants but at 92 they're not playing volleyball games or baseball or anything. They do games and puzzles and exercise classes that I've seen. She reads and I know they have little meetings of church and social things. I'll tell you what, my mom would be the first one to tell me she's not happy there and she it totally happy. She loves the people and the facility. It's a little expensive but you know something; it's worth it.

I think the physical therapy went above and beyond. The did more than they had to and were very attentive. My mother likes it here. She doesn't do a lot of the activites but they try to keep them busy.

Excellent! I only have good things to say! Ultimately, I just love the fact that they are bending over backwards to meet the needs of my grandmother. They've made it so easy for us to place her there. It was a tough transition for her. She didn't do in to assited living until she was 97 - she didn't want to lose her independence. They've been trying to make her comfortable and include her. She can't get over how accomodating and friendly the staff is.

(Activities Not Rated) The people at Atria were alert and friendly. The residents seem to be upper middle class which is what our loved one is used to being around. They offer a higher level of care. The community is really pretty and really a higher class type of community. The size of the studio was bigger then the previous community for about the same cost. The staff has been very cooperative during the move in. They are providing transportation and seem like they really take care of the residents.

The staff is very happy and pleasant seems like no one is in a bad mood. I like the demeanor of the staff they seem to really have passion for what they do. The care services they offer are great they really go above and beyond. They offer lots of activities and keep the residents busy if they chose to participate. I was there for Father’s Day and they had a perform come in and sing covers of songs, which was really fun, both my father and I enjoyed it. From the moment we stepped into Atria’s lobby it was warm and inviting, they had a sign with our names welcoming us into the community. The introduced us to some residents and some residents that we didn’t know even cam up to us and introduced themselves just to welcome us to the community. Everyone in this community is very engaging, it’s not like a convalescent home everyone more like a resort type feeling. The food is just wonderful; I had some French toast with bacon. The chef also made a special Chile Verde for us. If you don’t like what is on the menu they will make something you do want to eat. Atria Rancho Park is just a wonderful place and we are very pleased with our choice.

Very nice place, but too close to where my Dad's living now. I think there may be a high risk of his trying to walk back to his home.

I chose Pacifica Senior Living because I had been there before and talked to Stacy and it was also referred by A Place For Mom. They are also located very close to my house. The staff has been so accommodating, anytime I ask for anything they are on it. I've made some new friends with some of the residents. The first day I took my mom to check out Pacifica I recognized one of the residents as my former Brownie Leaders which I thought felt like good karma for us. I would do a commercial praising Pacifica and A Place For Mom if they asked, both have been great.

Before I placed my husband in the Villa, I toured the facility. I found the director and the staff friendly and informative. One thing I noticed is that all residence are called by name, and they are treated as though they were part of the staff's family. The staff is professional, friendly, and well-informed of each resident's special needs. There are activities for those who wish to join the group, yet the staff allow for those who are not joiners. The rooms are clean and safe for individuals who have trouble walking or showering on their own. My husband is shaved and dressed each morning, and taken to the dining room to eat. I'm very pleased with the outcome and the care my dear one is receiving.

The whole staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist me. The facility looked very clean and seems like it might be a good fit for my mom.

If there were directional signs to room numbers it would help the visitors find the residents room so much easier. Example: To get to my loved ones room, it's one left and three rights. For some reason it's a challenge. I attached samples of my suggestion. Staff, everyone has been amazing. The care my my loved one is receiving is the most important and that has been outstanding. Doctor[ name removed] took the time to call me so he could get more detailed information about my loved one. We had a great conversation and he appreciated the little things that would help him in gaining my loved ones trust. He also gave me his direct phone number in case I needed to speak with him. That was impressive. The hallways could use attention. The baseboards are pretty rough. Routine painting would make a positive impact. I realize wheelchairs and other equipment cause a lot of it but it's concerning when you see it during your tour of the facility.

Everything is going well. The staff are caring and compassionate, and they consistently make you feel comfortable and well supported.

My mom is not quite ready for this level of care, but the staff was very kind and this may be an option for us as my mom progresses in her dementia journey.
