My experience with Emeritus (now Brookedale) has been pleasantly positive. My Mom was placed in memory care. Every staff member from contractural information, medical staff, resident activity coordinators have worked hard to assess and adjust anything necessary to help my mom in this transition. She is now healthier, eating regularly, medications are managed and "less than before admitting". The cottages are lovely; bright, cheerful, personalized, engaging for residents to have social interaction and stimulation. This has had very positive effect on both my parents now. My dad now a resident, has managed care and I have peace of mind as we enter the "fall risk" years. We visit regularly and are encouraged by Emeritus to "join their journey". So we attend occasional activities together. Both parents are out and about more than they ever were. they also respond to the constant interaction of the staff. We have not met one staff that has not been helpful or positive. They also seem to really enjoy their job and the guests. They work hard to help the residents know they are important and care about them. Because we all live a distance away, Our family pops in unannounced often and are always welcomed and leave encouraged ourselves! The grounds are lovely and meticulous. There is a gazebo center as well as rocking chairs available on all porches and my parents use them often to chat. Our family LOVES Emeritus Hemet. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our parents.

Mom has lived there for over a year in independent living. Staff very nice and helpful, lots of great activities offered every day. Beautiful, new, upscale, clean and fun place. The price is reasonable compare to other similar facilities in San Diego. Her only complaint is with the food. Not as good as they profess.

My mom, I, and our family are very happy we chose Bixby Knolls Towers. The facility, services, residents and especially all the staff are so much better than we could have imagined. Thanks!

I visit my loved one every day, so I see the daily routine of the caregives. Of course, they are not perfect, but they care about the residents, and is shows it the treatment the residents are given. Their hearts are in the "tight place." they work hard, and most of all, I belileve, they are sincere about their efforts. I have come to love them all. What more can I say?

I visited Wyndham lakes on and off for about a year and a half each and every time I went there the the residents and the staff all are happy and friendly . The place is clean. I even ate dinner there and it was surprisingly good . But I had to make sure it wasn't just for show so I returned several months later unannounced and was treated the same each time . I spoke with several of the residents as well, everyone was happy and had great things to say about Whyndam Lakes. Some had been there only a few months and some for years . Moms been there now for only 2 weeks, but she tells me everyone loves her there. I know I've picked the best place for her hands down...

AM STILL IN THE PROCESS OF "MOVING IN" BUT SO FAR HAVE FOUND THE RESIDENTS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE STAFF EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT. I HAVE LOOKED AT A NUMBER OF SIMILAR COMMUNITIES AND FEEL THAT THIS ONE , WITHOUT DOUBT, IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN. THE ROOMS AND SURROUNDINGS ARE ESPECIALLY NICE AND THE AMENITIES ARE PLENTIFUL. I AM GLAD THAT "A PLACE FOR MOM)" TOLD ME ABOUT BIXBY KNOLLS TOWERS.

I want to thank William [removed] for his impeccable care of others. He helped me find a place for my mother when I was at my wits end. He took over locating numerous homes for me with costs that were in my price range. He is a caring individual that truly does want to eliminate all of the headaches and dead ends that one comes up against when locating a home for an elderly person. May he be blessed always!

My family and I have been through one of the worst experiences of our lives due to my mother's death and my father's subsequent diagnosis of dementia. There are many people and places out in the world who are only in the memory care industry for a payday. I do not know how they sleep at night. At Pacifica we found a place that is well staffed, knowledgeable, capable and willing to do what they can to help my father. They appear to understand the fragile and delicate world of dementia. We are only in the beginning stages of understanding my father's mental state, but the staff at Pacifica are doing what they can to educate us while keeping my father's comfort and care as the number one priority in our new relationship, both with dementia and with Pacifica.

My loved one really likes it there. We started with respite and we hoped our loved one would want to stay and she has. The food is pretty good – a couple of things were a little bland, but think that’s normal. There is a small outside area. I thought this one was the best of the ones I looked at. They have snacks available all day long.

Great place to place for your mom or dad! We rated everything really high. The community is clean. The staff has been friendly to us. There are enough activities. We’re okay with how much we receive for the cost of service.

It’s very homey and it doesn’t - the other ones I went to felt more like a nursing home or a hospital – this feels more like a home. My loved one really likes the food. He has adjusted so well. Sometimes parking is an issue because there are paramedics there quite a bit.

I am very pleased with the care my mother is receiving, and the prompt response to incidents that have occurred, because of her mental state. So far everyone has been very attentive and caring with her, and she is also pleased with the facility and the staff.

At this point I’m happy. As far as the facilities go, it’s as it gets. There are a few things. Nothing is perfect. I’d give cleanliness a 4.5 an A for effort. The staff gets a full 5 though. They provide all services so a four and a half. I think the only thing is that they could have more staff. I do my loved one’s laundry. When they do it things get misplaced – so I just do the laundry. As soon as I went into Emeritus - I knew this was the place for my loved one.

While searching for "A Place for Mom" we were directed to Emeritus at Sterling. It was the first community we visited and honestly, they set the bar very high. From Barb, the ED, to Chloe, to the receptionists, we were overwhelmed at the genuine care and concern they displayed for their residents. The condition of the building and the quality of the food and programs far surpassed all other local residences. I only wish my mother had lived long enough to spend her remaining time there. We stop by occasionally to chat with Chloe and Barb and some of the other staff. They were genuinely that friendly, caring, and kind.

They are great! The staff are all very wonderful! My loved one's caregiver is so sweet, and she just fell in love with her! The caregivers are so nice, and all of the residents are nice too. My loved one has already made friends, and they eat meals together and go on walks together. Such a wonderful place!

My father moved into Monte Vista Village a few months ago and he is very happy there. He has taken advantage of all the center has to offer and is very pleased with the property. It is well maintained, the people are very friendly and the staff is very helpful. We visited several facilities in San Diego before Choosing Monte Vista Village and we were pleasently surprised at what Monte Vista had to offer. We especially like the park like surroundings. Tracey, the Marketing Director was very helpful and accomodating as my father made his tranisition from out of state, into Monte Vista Village. We highly recommend Monte Vista Village for Senior living.

My mother needed the care of an assisted living community and we toured a lot before choosing Pacifica. Pacificia seemed to have everything we needed for my mom at a price she could afford. The staff are great!!! Friendly, warm and they go out of their way to make my mom and our family feel comfortable.

I toured this community when I was looking into options for my loved one. I have had some experience with the place in the past, it was the facility my mother-in-law stayed at. It's a very nice community, they keep it looking well kept and clean and the staff are all very friendly. We didn't end up selecting this community this time around, I wanted something located a bit closer to me, and we wanted something smaller and more homey.

Overall they do a great job here. The staff have all been very kind and patient, and they are always available to answer questions or address any issues that come up. The only issue I've had with them is a bit of confusing regarding how arranging transportation and doctors appointments worked, but we got that cleared up quickly. They've been great about taking requests from residents. For example, Dad asked them if they could start up some activities more based around men, since the community is mostly women, and they were happy to oblige.
