Moving in can be a little confusing, you have to cordinate with several different people but everyone is very very nice and my grandmother after two weeks is very very happy. it was a really good move for her she enjoys the afternoon activities and thinks that she eats too much which makes us happy. The courtyard garden is her favorite place in the afternoon and it's very safe

REVIEW Meridian at Lake San Marcos is a great place. While any place can be better overall this is a wonderful place. I have read some negative reviews and would like to say the following: I have lived here for a year and a half and have seen steady improvement. Some people are unhappy. That expect or wish they had their own personal made,butler and caregiver. If that is what they want then they should expect to pay for it. If they want a great place and are willing to share caregivers with hundreds of others which means having some patience then The Meridian is a great place to pick. I have had caregivers get me up between 6:30-6::45 for about a half a year. I go to therapy and need to get up early. On the days I call my rush days I get served very promptly. If I have any problems the staff can't fix then Susan, the executive director will always help. This is not needed often as the staff can take care of most things. Getting old is no fun with anyone. Some people angel it better then others. When you leave your home and come to an assisted living place adjustments need to be made and you are not the king any longer but here at The Meridian they treat you like a Prince or Princess. There are many of us here and we need to learn how to share. A happy person at The Meridian at Lake San Marcos.

The review about the staff not caring must be a one time bad experience or a lie. I have lived here for over a year and expierenced the opposite. Every problem, and they have been few, was taking care of in a timely matter by a wonderful staff that cares a lot. I can only think the problem that was upsetting was a mis-communication. I would feel happy to recommend this place and the person that reads my recommendation will see me everyday and that is not worrisome at all to me. Every place is not perfect but The Meridian comes close. Older people complain lots of time when there is nothing to complain about. This is done by seeing or perceiving that is not there and I think this may be one of those times. Feel at ease in picking The Meridian as your final stop and you will be glad you did as the meals are wonderful and so is the staff.

I've been here at BXT for 1-1/2 mos and my overall experience has been very positive. The staff personell seem to be very capable, curteous and prompt in satisfying the needs of the residents. I've been especially impressed with the maintenance response In fixing problems occurring in my apartment. The food menu is nourishing and well selected and and its preparation very good. Residents are very friendly and willing to help new arrivals. Billing is straight forward and more than competative with the going market.

The staff here is very helpful and attentive. The facility is always clean and the other residents are very nice. There are quite a few activities for the residents to get involved in if they so choose. The food is good here too.

The staff is attentive and they respond well to the residents here. The facility and the rooms are always kept clean and smelling fresh. There are weekly trips to stores like Wal-Mart. Overall it has been a pleasant experience so far.

My mother has been living at the Atria for about three years now. She likes it and has been very happy there. The staff is very friendly and caring. The facility has a homey atmosphere and there are lots of activities for the residents to do. My major concern is with housekeeping. I feel they do not do enough in cleaning the residents apartments. When I go the visit with my mother, I spend most of my time cleaning a dirty apartment. The bathtub has mold, kitchen sink has scum, carpets need vacuuming, and who even knows when anyone has dusted the furniture. I should not have to spend my time cleaning when I go to visit her. Mom has said they don't have much time to clean. Well, something is wrong with that, I say. So if you decide to put your loved one here, just know you will need to apply some elbow grease.

It was until Dad fell and got Pneumonia and had to go into rehab, but that was no fault of Brookdale's. Hopefully he will get to go back to Brookdale soon. Everyone but one staff member has been wonderful, and I do mean wonderful. They are so nice to him and take such good care of him.

The building, décor and the grounds here are very nice and well kept. The facility is always clean. The residents here are just as friendly and helpful as the staff. One thing that is a plus is the food here. It is very good.

The Woodmark is clean and spacious with lots of amenities available. The grounds are also beautiful and well kept. The staff is friendly and caring and the food is even great here. The best part is, it's affordable

My Dad just move in last week and he is still adjusting. The place is very nice. I especially like the people who work at the Meridian. They are very friendly and attentive to my Dad,which I appreciate so much.

This facility is well organized and clean and also has great amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful and lend a hand whenever you need it. The food is also great here. This place is wonderful and also a great value.

We really like it. We are very happy with Atria. They do the best in the dining room, the food choices are very good, very tasty and well prepared. The housekeeping is very good. I think they do a really good job of trying to encourage, and get the resident to participate in the activities or events. They are respectful if you don't want to and they will even take your food up to you, if need be. Occasionally we don't get as quick of a response as we want, but generally they are there within about 10 minutes. They were pretty comparable in price to what other were, depending on your level care. There is room for improvement, but overall we are very happy. The residents all seem content. When we first toured she fell in love with it, she said this is the one I want.

Bixby is the perfect home for my father. The staff and residents could not be more caring and friendly. He feels at home there and his needs are met immediately. I looked at many facilities and BKT far exceeds any of them. It brings much comfort to me as well as his daughter who makes sure he is happy and taken care of.

The first time I walked into the Pacifica, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful re-model. It was a "model" home for Dimentia. The rooms are spacious, there's plenty of bathrooms and showers, it's easy to walk around the compound (with it's herb garden and beautiful flowers), and the Manager is knowledgable, a good listener, and easy-going. We wanted our Mother to be in a safe, secure, and professional environment, with kind/patient staff. Pacifica is the perfect place for us! It's quaint, cozy and is somewhere between a 6 bedroom home and a cottage. They are organized, friendly...and more than willing to accommodate your family. You can tell they care about the well-being of my Mom and want to make sure they know, in detail, what my Mom enjoys. We are sleeping soundly knowing that our Mother is in good hands. I get excited when I visit her --- she is smiling, clean and thrilled to see me. (she lights up like a Christmas tree). Since she has moved in, she's hasn't been anxious. After raising 5 kids as a single Mom, it's time for her to be taken care of instead of her taken care of us. Mom's deserve the BEST!!! THANK YOU!

I think this is an excellent place. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff is very friendly.

My Mother moved from an assisted living large community in Hawaii to Villa Bonita and we feel it is the perfect fit. The staff is so helpful, caring and personable. My mother loves the food and is so happy with her apartment. Thanks to Pam for all her help in making Mom's transition so easy for our family.

Best place for Mom ! Every staff member is truly caring about the residents! The nurses and med-techs are wonderful! They treat each resident so personally. They actually get to know the residents! Lots of activities for the residents.

Feeling the pressure of time and demand of affordability; the priority of safety and the non-negotiable of quality care, I was not sure we would find a place for my mom that could meet those needs. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to say we found just that at Pacifica. Their responsiveness to my call, the unpressured information and professional assistance they provided allowed for a perfectly timed, incredibly peaceful transition after a life changing stroke/hospitalization/rehab. that left my mom unable to return to her home. Every person in every position within Pacifica has been pleasant, professional, and over-the-top wonderful. The facility is beautiful, and it's quickly become "home" for my mom. We couldn't be more pleased, Pacifica has exceeded our expectations. We are so thankful!

I really like it. The food is okay. I have to think really hard to come up with anything that could be improved. The only thing I guess would be they could keep the rooms a little cleaner, but they really do a pretty good job with that already. The people there are fabulous, they treat the residents really good. They were also pretty comparable in price to the other places in the area.
