It's very nice. The food is very good we have all eaten there. The executive director Emily is right on top of things. They take residents on outings, and they have religious services, and entertainment come in. I chose Emeritus because of the people, and how they were able to calm me down, and check in on me through this difficult process. They were very helpful in terms of giving me good advice about what to expect and how things would go.

The management couldn't be more caring or more competent. Real concern for the residents and their welfare and an amazing variety of well-planned activities.

I had a loved one in this facility for a time, and it really was a very nice place. It had all sorts of very nice amenities such as beautiful outdoor areas, a ballroom, and a very nice dining service. The facility itself was an older building, but they were always working to revamp it and keep things up to date. The food was very good here, no matter what they served it was delicious, and they had a lot of variety and choices available. There was a bit of an issue with communication with the staff from time to time, simply due to a language barrier.

We are loving them! There could be some minor improvements in the care services and communication aspects, but they are great! My loved one eats well there, and that could be because meal times are also very social. We are pleasantly surprised! Our loved one is really happy and comfortable there. They were at very good price, and exactly the location we were looking for. Very good choice!

Today is the first day for Mom to be a resident of The Woodmark at Sun City. We are fully expecting that Mom's life as a resident will be as great as the past month in our dealings with the staff of The Woodmark. Everyone we met, from the Marketing Director to the dining room staff to the porters and caregivers have just been terrific. Every day they kept out-doing themselves to ensure Mom has the best room, the best group of fellow residents as neighbors, the best opportunities to have many great years as a resident. We searched out numerous other communities on line and, with the help of A Place for Mom representative Rebecca Pauly, we were able to create a short list which included The Woodmark. We were not disappointed.

I toured this location when I was looking into memory care options for a loved one. It was a very nice looking community, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable and well prepared to handle my loved ones memory care issues. I was impressed by the diverse sorts of programs and methods they had for memory care, it was something I hadn't seen in other places. This place was on the pricier end of the other communities we looked at, and I wasn't as big a fan of the layout and lack of a secure outdoors area for the residents to walk in.

After trying to take care of our Dad ourselves for five months, we finally realized our good intentions were putting his safety at risk. We found Pacifica memory care through a referral agency called A Place For Mom. Between the referral agency, Pacifica, and my family, it took us over a month to become emotionally ready for this inevitable transition. I didn't want to give up and they didn't give up on me either! Pacifica is no ordinary assisted living facility. Their staff is happy and so there is low turnover. That's really important when you're talking about Memory Care. Every time I show up, I'm pleased with how the cottages are cleaned and maintained. I'm even more pleased with how well all of the staff have helped our Dad to settle in and become a contributing member of their community.

Contacting a Place for Mom was the best thing I did when I realized that I could no longer let my mom live alone anymore. I spoke with a compassionate and knowledgeable advisor who knew the area, the pros and cons of various settings and who was willing to research who had spaces open. She saved me hours of wasted time and frustration and let me to the perfect place for mom!

After my father's death in 2013, I called A Place for Mom to help me find an appropriate residence for my mother near my home. The assisted living facility my parents had lived in together wasn't a good fit for my mother alone since she has some memory issues. We had to wait a few months for a room to be available, but we needed the time to see doctors and arrange the move. My mother is able to take care of her personal grooming, but needs help with medications, and no longer has any interest in cooking or cleaning. She remembers her family, and can talk family and friends. She doesn't have Alzheimer's, so a facility with people at her own level was important. The facility is always clean. The residents are always clean. There aren't the underlying odors some of the other places have. The laundry is done twice a week, and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. The radiant under-the-floor heating in the bedrooms works beautifully. Mom was always cold before she lived here. All of the staff is friendly. Everyone called me by name the second time I came to visit. They are always kind with the residents. The maintenance staff has lent me tools for hanging pictures. Mission Villa's charges include everything except incontinent supplies and two person assist. No point system, no extra cost for laundry, housekeeping or meds management. Sheets and towels are provided. A cable connection in her room is $35 a month. A phone line is not included, but is easy to order from AT&T. A podiatrist comes is regularly for a reasonable fee. The care services are fantastic! First, the bathrooms are designed for wheelchairs. This seems intuitive for a senior facility, but my father could barely get into the bathroom of the their apartment in Tucson, and forget about getting in the shower. The nursing staff is wonderful. They check her blood pressure before giving her the blood pressure pill, and check her blood sugar twice daily. She is given sugarless alternatives for desserts and snacks. There are always plenty of staff available to help the residents and prevent falls, but they don't hover. Everyone is always pleasant. There are activities all day, many designed to help with memory function. About four times a week there are music programs, church services every week, sing-a-longs, bingo, trivia games, and movies. Two interior gardens are open with trees and lots of roses. A small kitchen adjacent to the dining room has coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks, ice and a microwave for residents and their visitors. I usually enjoy a cup of coffee while visiting mom. The design of the building's hallways makes a nice walking path. There are alcoves with a library and a beautiful fish tank, jigsaw puzzles, movie area, and the lobby. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset together through a window with a view last month. Mom is happy at Mission Villa, and I'm grateful I found such a nice place for her near my home.

We found Pacifica to be the best value for the level of care that we thought our father deserved. We have found that he looks so much better after spending only 2 week there. Walking more than he had at his last assister place. The Care Givers are far more attentive at this place and seem to really care for his well being. Not everything is perfect there but it is the best place that the family visited. We had 5 family members visiting and we did look at a few more than we were given by a Place For Mom.

Patricia Buril of Atria Ranch Park in San Dimas began helping my family as soon as she received the news that my aunt was in distress and was temporarily staying in a Motel until we could find a suitable place for her to live. Patti immediately arranged to bring my aunt's favorite hot dinner and a whole apple pie to her room. Patti personally delivered this meal and a few others while my aunt was waiting to be relocated. Patti also brought clean clothes, snacks and a warm blanket. She brought some flowers on Valentine's Day. She arranged for my aunt to take a tour and listen to a choir perform at the Atria Ranch Park before I could arrive in town. When I arrived, we took another tour and had lunch. Their food is very good and all of the staff members are friendly and supportive. My aunt agreed to live for a few months at the Atria Ranch Park while we arrange to sell her home in Glendora. I can stay with her when during my next visit and I find the community to be a beautiful, safe and peaceful place to be. I feel certain my aunt will become attached to the care givers and other residents at the Atria Ranch Park. She may not want to move again once she stays for a weeks. Thank you to all of the staff that continues to look after my aunt's need. And a special mention of the medical staff that helped evaluate my aunt so she could be cleared to move in. There is still much work for me to do regarding my aunt's continued care and it sure helps not to be overwhelmed with concerns about her immediate care. She is in good hands. There is always someone there to answer the phone and check on her if my aunt doesn't respond to her cell phone. The Atria library is where I will take my aunt during my upcoming visit. She loves to read and they have a collection of large print books available. Also, I will go with the group shopping via the shuttle so she becomes familiar with places to go with all of her new friends. One thing is for sure, my aunt likes their coffee and has been getting up earlier to have the breakfast of her choice freshly prepared. I am hopeful that she will gain a little weight as she enjoys starting her day with good company. - Thank You Atria Rancho Park and your wonderful, gracious staff!

They are excellent! Stacy is the best, they really worked with me. They have just been fantastic. They were able to get her medication leveled out and now, she has improved 90%. I am very happy with them.

It would be easier to get acquainted if everyone would wear nametags. They tried that but there is no incentive so nobody wears them. The food is excellent, and on days where there was heavy snow they brought our meals to us. During the heavy snow they also came out and cleaned the driveways and the sidewalks. The houses have attatched garages and are fairly close together but there is a wall that gives pretty complete privacy between each home.

Atria Rancho Park is a lovely facility in a quiet community. The room are spacious and comfortable. Every one at the facility is friendly and address the residents by their names. There are a wide variety of activities to choose from for the residents.

It's wonderful. The food isn't always the best, it could use a little improvement. The staff is amazing, from the people in the office, in the dining hall, the maid service, all of them are just amazing!!

Wonderful tour. We loved this place. I would live here if I needed an independent living place. Too costly for mom, who will not need care until she needs to go into a memory care unit ($6,000.00 to $9,000.00 per month). This would be a good place for residents whose children live far away. The neighborhood is not one I would want to go through at night time, so visits would be limited to daylight hours. Food is magnificent (former head chef from Monarch Place - cruise ship chef).

Very nice fit for my Mom, size & $$ were what we need, will be revisiting later this week

We were very pleased with this community! It was very nice and clean looking, and all of the employees were friendly and caring. They were one of the few places we looked at that were able to work with a hospice waiver, and the community worked very well with the hospice service in general. I liked the layout here, the assisted living is all in the same general area, no spread out over multiple floors, so the staff are always nearby and response times are fast. The apartments here were a bit bigger than other places we looked at, and they all had balconies which was nice. This was also one of the most affordable places we looked.

We toured or visited 13 other facilities, before SHE decided on going back to re-visit The Cherry Hills Club. FIRST impressions upon Investigation: Safe, Bright, Cheery, Friendly Folks (both employed and living there), lovely Clean Grounds, Delicious Food with Lovely Smiling Servers, Professional Nursing Staff, No Permanent Bad Smells, Beautiful Vistas, Adequate Airy Floor Plans, Affordable Pricing, Ability to Age "In Situ". SECOND Impressions after 4 Weeks: ALL of the Above Plus.

It's been good. They are clean and friendly. The food is very good. I really can't complain about anything, they are very good. The grounds are nice and they are pet friendly, which is why I chose them over others I saw.
