First of all, Justin is really awesome. He took me in to a private sitting room to discuss K's needs and medical history, which I really appreciated. We were able to go over their pricing structure and community before touring the facility. Their facility is spotless and very well-run!!! They have an age-in-place model with a secure memory care facility attached. They are seconds from a fire station/emergency response system. The rooms accommodate a queen- sized bed at best, which may pose a problem and they have limited availability. They have shared living, which is more affordable and intriguing. Overall, kudos to Spring Estates, they do an excellent job.

The staff seems nice enough to be around, they're friendly. It's very clean. We're getting our money's worth. We have our own caregiver that we use. I don't participate in the activities much but everybody seems to enjoy themselves. My wife goes to writing class and she enjoys that a lot. She used to be an English teacher. She's doing good here. The socialization here is good for her. She's really outgoing and friendly and I'm more or less a hermit. The food is pretty good. I don't eat too much of it myself because I'm pretty finicky about what I put in my body. Some things here are organic and some things aren't. But I have a kitchen so I just cook myself.

We love it! They're awesome. I like the communication. Dad has fallen 3 times and they have a policy of calling us immediately. The food options are really good. They connect with all of their residents. He's doing therapy and they're helping with that on the days that the therapist isn't there. They walk him around the facility and things like that. They're very patient. My dad eats at a snails pace but they never rush him. I think they're great. He's always clean. It's set up in cottages so there are only like 16 residents in a cottage so it's not overwhelming - it's like a home. Every Friday they have a happy hour with live entertainment, they go out at least once a week for lunches, they have bingo, flower arranging, etc. There is a doctor that goes to the place and they take care of all the meds. It's great!

Their staff is just excellent and they've been great with us. They call us for anything we need. When we leave we know that my mother-in-law is in good hands. It's been 3 weeks that my mother-in-law has been there and we are just very happy about what's happening there.

When I first went and did the evaluation before we decided to move my mom there it was very clean and very friendly. I'm out of town so I don't get to visit that much but the friendliness of the staff, the activities that were available, the locations and the overall energy of the place was really good. It felt like a good place for my mom to be. She'd rather be at home but she does like it there. They have yoga and bingo and scrabble and they do party type things like they had a luau. They have other activities where they take people out into the community to do things.

We had a really helpful experience in finding a place for my Mother from the referrals given on A Place for Mom and the Advisor, Coy, over the span of several months. After our tour at The Cottages (now Pacifica) and several conversations, there was assistance with referrals and information from the Director, Emily and Sales Advisor, Karen to help make the process work for our family. They were all instrumental in facilitating my Mother's transition into Assisted Living. After being around the facility for about a month and a half now, it has been a pleasure each time we visit because of the friendliness and support provided for my Mother's care.

Light, airy, clean facility. Individuals seem well tended. Liked the director, Keith Payne. Parking not a problem. Good mixture of males and females. Good ratio of assistants to residents. Benefits more than adequate.

9/10/2013 - met Sabrina and was great. Planning a lunch so that Duel can make up his mind about it. It is not far from the VA Med Center. Place was clean and everyone there seemed happy. Rooms were adequate. Dog park, swimming pool all plus

I had a tour of Atria Meridan and I liked it very much . Wesley is great. I went 2 times to bring my daughters.

Grandma's loving it there, she's being well taken care of, they're catering to her with every need that she has and they've been wonderful to her. As far as I know I think a housekeeper comes in once a week, she has a pain management where they take care of her pills for her and it's going well. We haven't had any issues with it because they have a person that takes care of it for her as far as prescriptions and things are concerned. My uncle had recommended this place because his wife had a family member who had lived there. My grandma particiaptes in lots of activities, she really enjoys her roommate, she says the food is really wonderful, she has a guinea pig so everyone loves that. All in all she's having a great time there, making new friends and interacting with the community.

The cleanliness is a four because they're remodeling right now. They have a lot of activities but it's getting my dad ot participate that's the hard part. They have all kinds of stuff. They're having a barbeque this week and they have trips to walmart, trips to church, trips to shopping and the doctor's offices. It's a great place. My dad likes it. He said the food is good but they serve too much chicken he said, but he doesn't like chicken.

I am very pleased with Emeritus at Northridge. They bend over backwards to make it happen and accommodate our needs. We were under time constraints and had to find a community fast. The entire staff from the director on down are just awesome. They make it an easy transition and really executed everything perfectly. It just all fell into place. Nick from A Place for Mom was just excellent and very helpful. I am so pleased with Emeritus and APFM that I would recommend them both to anyone.

Everything is very nice. They come in and clean everything on schedule. It's all working really well. The staff are wonderful! My husband is diabetic and he needs somone to monitor his insulin four times a day and they do that on schedule. The nurses are efficient and polite. We don't participate in the activites much but they're certianly availalbe. People have a variety of choices. We like it a lot and are very happy. No complaints at all!

Excellent! You're getting what you pay for over there. The care is excellent. It's a very good caring staff and they get the things done that need to be done. There are not tons of activites but there are a few everyday. My mother-in-law loves them. They play bingo, have movie night with popcorn, excercise and coffee hour every morning, and they have other games too. They cover a wide range of things. It's all been very positive. She likes the people, she likes the food. She said to me "I cannot find anything wrong!"

It's a very, very nice facility - it's very clean, very well taken care of. The staff pays close attention to him and seems to give him a lot of care. The lady who does the marketing seems to be very well-informed, and I was able to do this over the phone (I'm in Kansas and he's in California, so there were a lot of logistics to take care of) very confidently. They've been very helpful to my mother as well, and helped to re-unite them. She had been taking care of him on her own before we moved him to the Emeritus and they've been very supportive of her since he moved in. I couldn't be more pleased, and I feel really good about this decision. His extended

My mom is doing the adult day care and she so looks forward to going there. She's at 2 days a week and we might be going to 3. It's really good care and the staff is great. The activities are geared towards their level which I think is why she enjoys it so much. She likes the interaction with the other people, the staff and residents. She likes having lunch there and she loves the mystery rides. She's easy to please but she likes to stay busy. Every couple of hours they have a new activity - it keeps them engaged. She needs the activity and we need the break! If there was any downside at all it's that it's not big enough yet, but it will be. Actually my mother-in-law is going to be going there soon too.

They are very, very, very expensive comparatively. The are also very accommodating. The transition for my father went very smoothly. He is very happy there. I would recommend them. For activities, they have pretty much everything within the facility from ice cream socials to happy hours to games. It's really nice what they do on birthdays. They have a huge party for all the residents during that birthday month. It's really nice.

My parents have been there for two weeks. They haven't really been involved in the activities yet. So far everybody in the place is very friendly and caring. They're good listeners. They look for ways to solve the problems that you face. I'm very happy with them. My dad likes the variety of the food. He's actually gained a couple of pounds which is good; he needed it. Mom has good day and bad days but she has that in her house too. She's adjusting. The residents are very supportive. They offer 3 meals a day and transportation. Carrington Pointe gave us the biggest unit size for a reasonable amount of money. It was the best choice for us.

They have activities going on here at Cottages everyday. The cost is about $4,000 a month. They have been in business for about 8 years. They have different cottages for different levels of needs, so it is nice because your loved one is placed with residents of similar abilities. Would have chose this community but it was not conveniently located for us.
