My experience with A Place for Mom was excellent. Our advisor was wonderful and we are very grateful for her recommendation of Brookdale Chatsworth. My mother is extremely happy here. The care and social activities are fabulous. The staff bend over backward to find her the perfect apartment. It is huge and brand new!

I have had a good friend of mine live here for about a year and she has really changed her outlook on life. She came to this community isolated and living alone. Suffering from a fall, losing her husband years prior. I didnt think I would see my friend get the light back in her eyes. She loves all the wonderful staff who try to make her smile every time I come visit. She raves about the dining, the director goes above and beyond trying to accommodate every resident and their different tastes. Severs are always on the move working hard to get everyone fed and happy. Care staff are up and down the halls all day giving a happy hello when they pass by. It was great a few months ago to see some of them participating in activities with the residents. The Head nurse is wonderful and takes the time to listen. As for activities, I think they could be little more engaging. Maybe having more group things to do, outside games, seasonal contest with residents and such. The new director there has really tuned this place up, making is what I knew it could have been when I first visited. I know my friend will have nothing but fun and happy experiences here in her golden years. Thank you Brookdale, when its my turn to travel down this life path I would be happy to live at Central Whittier.

I liked the tour at this community. We were happy with the friendly staff who were able to answer the questions that we had. The community was not as big as we wanted. The menu was nice and the list of activities would have been helpful. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a family member.

When my father lost the love of his life-mom-he began to quickly loose interest in life. He disengaged from his hobbies, refused to leave the house and lost his voice. His since of humor and laughter gone. Poor Dad. Then I contacted a Place for Mom-my siblings and I were concern about where to seek help-my coach was excellent. My son and daughter's scout troops have gone to Brookdale for the Holidays to sign Christmas carols and play bingo with the Seniors; now, their grandpa would be one of the residents. From the tour with [Removed] to the day we signed the contract with Tammy to meeting the Chef, Activity Coordinators and most of all the gals that services the elders daily, the staff have been amazing. They treat each resident as if they were the only tenant at Brookdale. The wheelchair yoga and other activities are great. The ambiance at their restaurant is suburb and the food is fit for elders. My main and most important concern is that they need more staff. Staff appear fatigued by end of shift-i know-i visit at different hours. I would suggest a 1-5 ratio to personalize the care and give the staff more breaks given all they do. Laundry, bathing, incontinent care, wheeling folk up and down is exhausting;but, they do their best. [Removed] are awesome!! Med Techs stay on top of things too-THANK YOU BROOKDALE for peace of mind, my father found his voice again and is telling jokes-something he did as we were growing up. Lots of laughter in our home!

The facility is very clean and the staff are doing what they can to take great care of my loved one! Though he doesn't talk to others too often, he is encouraged to socialize with other residents. This has been a bit of an adjustment for him, but we are very satisfied with his stay!

My dad is doing well here. When he first saw the community he liked it right away and did not want to see another community. It is a very nice community and the staff look after the residents very well. They are very good with all they do for them.

Everything is fine and all is good, I have no complaints. They are taking care of him. The room is much larger than the other communities we saw. I picked them because the extra care was flat rated and I know what the cost is going to be. There are no graduating scale for the extra care just a flat rate if it is needed. They also don't charge for food delivery. I also like that the community is local to us.

My mom is in this community for care. The community is clean and maintained. I am glad to know that she does like the staff who are attentive to her needs. She seems to like the menu. The environment is not what my mom is looking for. We would recommend that families tour this community for the options that are available.

Everything went just fine during my loved one's stay! The staff were very attentive and did what they could to make my loved one feel comfortable. I have no complaints about her experience!

We were very impressed with the warm and positive climate of the staff and residents. The director was most informative and caring, as she guided us through the facility. We were ready to move in ourselves!

I am happy with this community. The staff is very through with my mom's care. They were able to work with us in her care. My mom is very happy here. Mom's room is always clean and she has them bring her the meals. They are very caring. She is now happy with participating with the activities. My mom is able to have her dog with her, they are very accommodating to all of her needs. They keep me informed on her progress. We would recommend this wonderful communiy

My dad is doing really great and it took a while but he is in good hands. They have been great with everything thing they do here. The staff keep the facility really clean and stay on top of his laundry. All the staff have been sweet patient and understanding. I have recommend this community to others. We connected with the sales manger when we toured, he was great and the reason we picked them.

My mother came to Wildomar for respite and decided to extend her stay! She is very comfortable here. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The billing is kind of antiquated as they do not offer electronic billing but that is certainly not a deal breaker.

My dear friend is just tickled to death about her new living environment in this community. All of the staff have been very friendly and she has made lots of new friends with all of the residents. Another thing she has been participating in a lot is all of the activities they have going on throughout the week, especially bingo. They provide her with three meals a day that are restaurant quality so she doesn't have to worry about dishes or the cooking. Overall she is very happy and I have a peace of mind with her living there.

A Very nice place, a friendly staff, clean common areas. I saw a lot of interaction with the residents, which was pretty nice!!!

Loved this tour. First class facility. Smells and look immaculate. Too many pluses to even list, but open dining, HUGE rooms, and friendly, professional staff topped my list.

My dad is happy at Central Whittier. We love their courtyard & weekly musical entertainers. The staff is professional and courteous. For me, I have peace of mind knowing dad is cared for & not at home alone, thank you !

I have no complaints so far about my fathers stay and am very pleased with the quality of care he has been receiving from the staff. He has had no complaints about the food and has really enjoyed the activities and events they have for the residents during the week. I also like how big his bedroom as well as the bathroom, it was one of the main factors he needed with finding a place to live. Overall it has seemed to be a great fit for my father.

I am very very happy with the care that my mom is getting here. The room is brand new and she enjoys the patio. This has been a great move for her. They have great church services for her. The meals are good and they offer a good variety. We are happy that she is active. We highly recommend the community with a great value. This community was recommended to me and I recommend it myself.
