Oaks Senior Living

I enjoyed the tour of the facility. I was pleased with the staff. The place looked clean and tidy. As I’m just beginning the search for a place for my mom., this was a good start. I look forward to potentially placing her here and having her close to me.

Our experience with Oats at Tucker has been professional and attentive with our loved one. The staff was very helpful with all of our concerns, and they addressed all of our questions. The staff have made it comfortable for our loved one to adjust. They have gone over and beyond our expectations. The staff is pleasant and easy to work with.

My Dad moved into The Oaks in April after living with several family members, and has found a loving community here. There are lots of activities and events to enjoy, and his apartment provides comfort and a place of his own. The staff are caring and supportive, and make sure his needs are met. Definitely a place to explore for your loved one.

Overall, staff appears to be caring. It would be helpful if Staff had a better system for welcoming and orienting residents when they enter the AL community.

My loved one is a resident at Oaks at Oakland Plantation and things have been very good. It's the highest priced facility in Albany, but you get a lot more for the money. Based on previous experience with other facilities in Albany with other relatives, I was surprised at the top to bottom friendliness of the staff. It's refreshing to see that.

My mom loved the food, which was the highlight. She was there for two weeks, for respite care. The food was top notch. It was close by, which was the main reason. It was a good experience. I would recommend to other families.

I toured the Oaks at Grove Park and everything looked fine from our tour. This facility was similar to another great facility that we toured. Cleanliness and friendliness were good!

This is a very good community. We have had a very positive experience. The staff seem to care about the residents. The community is clean. The staff communication with the family has been very good. They keep us updated on our loved one, and they are responsive to our questions. There are three meals a day served to the residents. In assisted living there are choices for the residents to choose from for meals.

If you don't use the in house people or doctors, then it is hard to get information from the actual physician back to them. Communication with the physicians could definitely be improve on. Overall I would recommend Oaks at Towne Lake to others.

I didn't have direct contact with the Oaks but my wife did. From everything I was privy to the care my in-laws received was extremely good. The Oaks in general is an above average facility at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone requiring the care my in-laws received. There were some instances of inconsistent efforts with meals, might have been due to securing consistency with kitchen staff issues and supply chain issues. Would still very highly recommend them. Great caring Staff!!

Everything is pretty nice, it is a brand new facility and very clean. The only complaint from her would be the food menu, some things she does not like - but other than that it is a great place. Since she has been here she has done very well. We are happy with the experience and I think they are doing a great job. We would recommend Oaks at Eagles Landing to others looking.

They offer nice activities, but my loved one has not particiapted yet. We picked this community because it was good fit for my loved one. I get a good feeling when I walk in. They can improve on being more available by phone or in-person, and be more informative on the services that they offer. It would be nice, if they offered an in-take session for new residents.

Overall, things have been pretty good here. We're still working some things out. Their prescription service is much more pricey than the regular pharmacy and that has been frustrating. I understand it's a process and a part of Assisted Living, but I don't understand the much higher cost. I also wish they would have print outs/schedules for the Menu and the Activities, that would be helpful. Especially for outings when my loved one will need money, if I could know in advance then I would be able to make sure she has money to participate. My loved one isn't happy with the food. She wishes they would serve more homestyle and nutritious meals and that there could be more vegetables offered. I will say the facility is clean and the laundry service is great. The staff is great, too. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We liked the community and grounds. We preferred the atmosphere at another community better and this community felt bigger than what we needed at the time.

I toured this community and it was nice. My visual impression wasn't great at first, but got better. The staff was very friendly. I have a friend who had a loved one here and she says the care couldn't have been better for her loved one. We considered this facility as an option.

I really like Oaks at Grove Park so far. I think it's a very nice facility. And my family member is getting great care.

Camellia Place was beautiful. The facility is very pretty and so clean. It is set up in little cottages which would be great for those who are more anti-social. We did not see a lot of mingling going on between residents. For my dad he would have had to walk from the cottage to the main building to interact with others and we knew that would not happen which was why we decided against them. It seemed like a great choice though!

I thought the staff at Oaks at Conyers was super. The people were awesome - probably the best of the several places we toured. The facility was kind of old, although I know they were working on remodeling. We just preferred a place that was already updated.

My mom had to be moved from Assisted Living at another facility to Memory Care, with Hospice assistance, at the Oaks at Post Road, Cumming Ga. We chose this location due to the proximity to our house and the recommendation from friends who had family there. The executive staff was very welcoming and attentive to the needs of my mom once she arrived and as her stay went along. My mom required a lot of attention and, for the most part, she got what she needed in a timely fashion. There is no doubt that my mom was happier in her last couple months of life being at the Oaks than in prior months. This is a very good facility and I would recommend this location to anybody who has a family member in need of Assisted Living or Memory Care services.

My loved one was evaluated and reffered to Oaks at Stockbridge. They have a caring staff, and they look out for what's best for your loved one.
