Oaks Senior Living

I would recommend if they have fixed this issue. I would say the reason we moved my mom was mainly because i couldn't always reach her there if her cell phone was accidentally on silent. There wasn't always someone to answer phones or be at the front desk. This was not ok. When they had their covid outbreak, the warning about the risk of coming inside the building was posted and i couldn't reach anyone to ask my mom to come outside. That was a deal breaker for me.

-The Staff turnover is a concern. -Agency Staff is sub-par , and unreliable. -Residents complain of hurried care.

Based on the experience our family has had so far with Oaks at Shiloh Point, we would for sure recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

The staff at Oaks at Towne Lake were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping seemed to keep the rooms clean and most importantly the bathroom was cleaned. The food was good and they tried to make sure that my loved one got something that she liked. We didn't get much help moving in or out. The staff on the floor were good about communicating, but the head people were not timely with communication.

It's a nice place and all the support staff are amazing! AMAZING! Recently they hired a new director and they are planning on some renovations to the building. In my opinion, they should spend money on the food quality and opportunities for residents to enjoy fresh air. Renovations seem silly as the place is clean and tidy. They are constantly raising fees which is concerning for the residents on low income. The activity director is nice but not many residents actually engage in any activities. The weekly grocery store visit is often cancelled.

Nice presentation, really understaffed. I would not discourage someone from looking at it as an option. All assisted living facilities have a hard time keeping staff. But it's not a place I would place my mother or father.

What our family likes the most about the Oaks at Gracemont is the overall facility, it is very clean and the staff members who work there are very friendly. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to others who many need a place for their loved ones.

The biggest problem we had was getting his clothes washed and returned to him. My sister had no recourse but to have to washed them herself for a time. It would be great if more games could be scheduled besides just bingo. Thank you for the frequent music and religious offerings.

My loved one is currently a resident at Oaks at Hampton and everything has been good for her so far. This facility is very diligent in taking care of their residents and I would recommend it to anyone that needs assisted living care.

Very friendly staff. Well run facility. Rooms are plenty big enough. Good amenities provided for residents. Highly recommend Oaks at Shiloh Point.

My suggestion is for families to be patient with the admission process, it's well worth the wait. The staff is very kind and helpful with new residents and families. The facility was very clean and neat. Communication is good during the day hours, but at night staff should make sure resident calls family back or staff to follow up with family about call to resident. I would recommend oaks at eagles landing to others.

The staff are approachable and kind to my mom despite her often being defiant and non compliant, they tolerated the many demands from me and my siblings. The director is available and respond even during her off hours. The staff is friendly and work to meet the needs of all the different personalities of the residents.

Staff is very friendly. My Aunt loves them. Housekeeping and communications are pretty good. She loves the meals. I would definitely recommend the Oaks.

Once my dad entered hospice care at the Lakes, the level of service was insufficient for his needs. I would not recommend the lakes for hospice care

The facility is beautiful, well kept, however the care is not the best in Memory Care, I guess they do the best they can with the high turnover. I can't speak to assisted living.

Beautiful facility, well maintained, excellent staff that provides good care. We specifically chose OEL because of the value offered and location of the facility.

The staff interact with each other and with residents and visitors very professionally, yet with a personal touch that is very welcoming and warm. The atmosphere is very happy, cozy. All of the team are compassionate and genuinely concerned for the residents' wellness.

I would say the staff was very caring and friendly. I picked this community because it was close to my home.
