The place was great. Very light and bright. I looked at three rooms and one of them would work. It is a smaller community similar to the one she lives in however night and day from ocean villa. I spoke to [Name removed] and if she will consider the change I have to give them a check otherwise the room I picked out will be gone.

Wow, what can I say? This is the Cadillac of all the facilities. It has gourmet cooking, a full slate of activities karma field trips almost daily, a very comprehensive memory Care, huge apartments, a fabulous staff, the surroundings are very elegant and posh, the caretakers seem to understand dementia better then in other facilities. The marketing director explained the stages of dementia and how they care for 2 hours. Nothing is left undone, places spotless. There was nothing about this facility that I took exception with except perhaps the price. It was the most expensive and far out of our budget. As much as we like this facility we're going to have to can sit by and find something else. However this is the best you can get.

[Name removed] gave me a tour. She was great. Informative and pleasant. It’s a beautiful community. They offer a range of care and accommodations that give my family choices and flexibility. My parents aren’t ready to commit to anything yet, but Sunrise will stay on the list of voices for the future.

My mother has been living at Sunrise of Claremont for four months and she loves it there. Everything is taken care of for her. It was a hard adjustment, leaving her house, and the staff at Sunset helped with that adjustment. When we did have complaints they were immediately taken care of. From the moment you walk into the Sunset you're greeted with open arms from the staff. The facility is well-maintained and does not look like a nursing facility. It looks more like a small four star hotel. My mother feels very safe there and the care that is provided is excellent. All staff, including administration, CNAs, nursing, social workers, down to the kitchen staff is amazing. [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed] provide exceptional care. If there are any questions or concerns about her care, they were always answered to our satisfaction. I would like to add my gratitude to the staff at Sunset. The new Administrator, [name removed], is involved and especially attentive. She is always glad to help. They take excellent care of my mother and whenever we are there to visit the staff is warm and friendly. After a fall in January we were unable to give her the care she needs. We toured several homes for her. Sunset of Claremont is the next best place to having her at home. My family is reassured knowing that our mother is in a safe and healthy environment. The last thing I'd like to mention is that they really care about their residents. They have decorated holiday events and families are always invited. They have exercise classes and other activities. They have scenic outings, restaurant and shopping trips, and museum visits. Residents do not just sit in their rooms, unless they want to. I highly recommend this retirement home.

We had to find a place for my father-in-law under an extremely tight timeframe and tricky circumstances. There were some facilities we toured that felt overly salesy in their approach, others that were wildly disorganized or felt chaotic, and places that just felt dismal for the memory care side where there was no secure outdoor space for dementia/alzheimer's residents. Oakmont of Concord was none of those things. From the moment we first stepped in for our first visit, through our myriad questions, signing docs, intake process/exam, and to move-in, everyone at Oakmont was absolutely incredible. When we stepped through the door for the first time, we knew that we had very fortunately found a place that was very different and a cut above the rest. It's a smaller facility (around 55 apartments, I believe), so the staff knows each resident well and provides caring and attentive service. The place is sparkling clean, the quality and selection of the food in the dining room is excellent, the services provided are top-notch, the secure outdoor garden is beautifully tended & enjoyed by many residents, the activities are well attended and have a high level of participation, and truly every staff person has been remarkable in their help, care and guidance. [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]. We couldn't have navigated the process without all their help. And even my father-in-law, who felt a bit "iffy" about needing assisted living, has happily agreed that everyone there is really nice, friendly, helpful and caring. Highly recommend.

Sunflower Gardens came to my Fathers rescue at a time when we needed to make a change at his current board and care. They were wonderful in every aspect of his transition. [Name removed], the Director, [name removed], [name removed] and the RN made sure my Dad was taken care of with dignity and compassion. They couldn’t of been more kind, and willing to meet my Father’s practical needs, as well. I am grateful for the staff, the beautiful grounds and accommodations as well as Angels Hospice. Although my dad passed away not to long after, he was made comfortable and the care he received was more than I could of ever asked for or imagined. God Bless Sunflower Gardens. [Name removed]

Sunrise staff are the most kind and caring people I have ever met. My Mother's caregiver stays in touch with me and lets me know weekly how she is doing. My Mother has been difficult, but they are patient with her and re-direct her to activities that she enjoys. There are so many activities to keep their minds active. The facility is beautiful. It looks like a five star hotel when you enter the lobby and a luxury residence when you enter the floor my Mother lives on. The food is gourmet and the field trips a lot of fun for the residents. I would certainly recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for a care facility for their loved one. You can leave them at Sunrise with great confidence that they are bein cared for in the best way possible.

Very nice staff. Very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. My Dad has made a lot of friends and likes the staff. He says the food is usually very good. He says there are not enough activities such as field trios. Otherwise he and my my family are very happy with Sunrise San Marion.

The facility is lovely and does not feel like a nursing home. It is clear that each individual, staff through residents, is treated with dignity and respect. The building is clean, inviting and I especially enjoyed [name removed]'s candor and ability to communicate clearly and openly.

Love this Place! Really hope it works out for my father-in-law. I think it would help him feel at home and get better.

I had a lovely visit, meeting with [name removed]. She was very knowledgeable. We toured the facility, currently under construction. I’m looking for respite care for my father in September. We are hopeful that being new, there may be something available to accommodate Dad during that time. The property will be beautiful and the staff I met were attentive and welcoming.

We liked this one better than the one in Folsom because of the larger amount of outdoor space & general layout of the facility. Just not sure if Mom can afford this one.

Very, very nice, but probably too pricey. With only 40 apts., it was almost TOO quiet!

Very friendly staff. Couldn't have been more helpful. Went out of their way to help and make Mom and Dad comfortable in their new home! Excellent food service including a welcome dinner that included our family! Nice touch! So much good to say!

Very clean and fresh smelling and looking facility. Everything well maintained. Very friendly staff who was able to answer all my questions. Will be revisiting facility with my grandma so she can make the decision (with memory care patients it helps them make a transition)!

We love this community. There are many activities to choose from daily and wonderful excursions! The food is delicious and has many options. The staff is friendly and helpful.
