Our family had an in person tour and Oakmont is a beautiful facility, we had no complaints with anything we saw on the tour. The were were great and super information. You could tell they really new how to showcase their place and dive in deep to everything they have to offer. Great from a management and sales point of view. However it was just to expensive for us.

We absolutely love Oakmont, everything that has come from this community has just been fantastic. The staff are so understanding when it comes to our loved one and her issues. At times she can be very difficult and they have so much patience with her. They are just so kind to her and the other residents. It is hard for her to love things and she now has been in assisted living and memory care and she loves them both. Every worker that goes by from the management team to house keeping and maintenance, they are always smiling, interacting with the residents and striking up conversations. We cannot image a better place, we have no complaints. The food has been great, the place is always clean. It is such a social life. Once a week they get to take the residents out to different restaurants and different sightseeing.

This is more affordable than any of the other communities I visited. I'm not sure how they can keep their costs down when other communities aren't. The only reason for the lower rating on the cleanliness is they could do a better job at checking supplies in the bathroom, and cleaning of the floor. The staff are excellent to work with and I'm impressed with everyone I have worked with. The caregivers are amazing! There are approximately 26 residents in the memory care unit. The staff are kind, patient, and respectful towards the residents., this includes when the residents are needing to be fed, or cared for. The community is able to assist my loved one with their medication management, hygiene, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, all meals and the room are included in the monthly fee. Nature videos, music, outside entertainment, ring toss, cornhole, bingo, arts and crafts, and more are some of the activities that the residents can choose from to participate in. The quality of food in memory care is not the same as in assisted living. Some of the meals arrive colder than they should be. The food could be cut smaller for the memory care residents. The meals are well balanced though.

This is a wonderful place to live, and I think you would be happy here. The staff are very friendly and still it is a fairly new community. It feels like a family, as it is a newer community and we aren't fully occupied yet. Housekeeping, changing of the linens, meals, room and more are included in the monthly fee. Some of the activities available are movies, bingo, card games, outdoor activities, and more for the residents to choose from. There isn't a bus driver so we can't use the transportation, I'm hopeful this will change soon. Each room is equipped with a washer and dryer in the unit and a full kitchen.

Nice but the price to move in is way too high of $10,000.

This is a beautiful building with very nice staff. It is having some new building issues at the time and they are still working through things. They have activities like bingo, music, seated travel where they watch movies about other places. They have movie nights also where they show movies but it tends to start a little late at night for the residents. They also have garden club, bible study, karaoke, arts and crafts and more. They sometimes have excursions out in the community but this happens rarely.

This was a nice community just not as nice of a building as we were looking for. The leadership was great and the tours were awesome this just did not work out for my loved one.

I loved the tour at Oakmont of Lodi. I was very pleased with them, as was the case with the other facilities I toured as well. Our final decision came down to location. We chose closest proximity to a family member.

Nice but more money than I planned to spend.

We had a very nice tour with Sunrise of Tustin. The facility was really pretty and they did a great job showing us around. It ended up coming down to the location for us, but this facility was up there on our list of places.

Didn't like the layout of the building being on a hill.

Didn't think it would be a good fit for my loved one. The price was pretty high as well.

I've found many new friends. Most people and all employees are very friendly and wonderful! I am very happy to be here.

This was a nice community. It was more expensive than we wanted. The staff were very nice to work with.

I also want to thank [name removed]s leader[name removed] along with her lead and care team. She has built a fantastic team during a difficult time. Each has provided updates, shared funny stories, wonderful photos, hair braiding, daily coffee, and our 6:00 then 4:00 pm FaceTime! From all that to everything in between that you do to keep each resident safe and happy, thank YOU! I know an entire team at work makes Sunrise of Burlingame hum along. Those who provide meals to those at the front desk or create new adventures indoors and outdoors. Thank you for your smiles, your ideas, and your love. Last but certainly not least! There are simply not enough ways to thank [name removed], this incredible woman who gives care, guidance, and support to both families and staff in her facility. [name removed]and I have laughed, cried, and come up with some great ideas to bring love and light during a horrible time in history we call a pandemic. Every day and on weekends, she goes above and beyond with her messages to put family members at ease. She opened the doors at Sunrise safely, and through her strict adherence these last two years, she kept the virus at bay. She put up with a lot and sailed through it with grace and understanding when others in our world, not so much. The light and love [name removed] brings to all do not go unnoticed by me, my mom, and our family. Thank you, [name removed], for always being there to welcome ideas, create a home, hire exceptional people, and ease a concerned daughter's mind!

My mother lives here for more than 8 years. I have visited her very often and know quite well how this facility really is. The location and the size is wonderful. New management Ivy Park puts in positive effort to improve it. The care staff are compassionate and patient. It serves all 3 meals in a restaurant style. Food is healthy for seniors. Van service is convenient also. Overall it is a gem.
