Since this is our first experience, we do not have anything to compare it to. My loved one has now settled in and formed some friendships and it is looking quite improved. The apartment sizes are great. The food is institutional and could use some improvement. We would recommend the facility overall.

We chose Oakmont of Orange at the time because we liked the layout of the building itself and what it offered. The communication was not very good, the staff did not talk to each other so there were issues there. Once they got to memory care once they got to know them it was great and they were good with trying to get them to participate in activities. If you are in your room and a fall risk it is not a good place to be, if you are mobile it is an excellent facility. The lower ratings would have been higher except for the communication, that was the whole reason there were lower scores.

The staff were great very friendly. The front office was beautiful and smelled great but when you got to the living quarters, the odor was unpleasant. The caregivers were wonderful but seemed understaffed. The food was absolutely horrible and it was disgusting We chose this community for the location and the friendliness of the staff. There were so many residents there and not enough supervision . It was completely chaotic. The families need to visit frequently to advocate for proper care. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were big and spacious.

I toured Sunrise, and the director was super nice and really honest. I really appreciated that the director was very truthful with us when he said he felt the level of care there was too high for my mother. She did not need the advanced level of care they had there yet, so he advised he wasn’t sure it would be a good fit.

A wonderful place for my mom and dad who are both 92. My dad is blind and the price of personal care keeps escalating as his needs increase. I wish I could keep them both there for the rest of their lives, but at $7,500 a month which could soon get up to $8,300 a month due to special needs my parent's nest egg is disappearing and will soon be gone.

The staff here gave me a very good tour of their community and they answered all my question plus they even did a great follow-up. This community has a very nice setting, its clean and they were really nice, I just did not feel that this would be the best fit for my mom at this time.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I was not that impressed with everything that I had seen. I drove through this neighborhood and that was the first disappointment in my opinion. The grounds where not kept and it just looked messy. I decided to go on with my search that had a cleaner property.

My father is actually doing very well, he is not complaining and it has been a good fit. They say that ever since sunrise took over, the food has gone downhill. I have lunch with my father quite often, and the food is just bad. If they could just improve on the food, it would be a much better experience. The people there are wonderful, the nurse and assistants are really nice and my father is enjoying the people. Everything is very clean and it has been a good experience so far, I just wish they would improve on the food.

We toured this community. The staff did not seem like they had the time to give us The community did appear to be clean from what we were able to tour. We did not get a lot of information from the staff. We highly suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one and there needs of care.

The kitchen and support staff has been nice and helpful. I have not been impressed with the administrative staff. They have been misleading, not forthright and giving me corporate jargon. We have run into some billing issues already and I have not had much luck correcting this. The food is ok. They did not clean my loved ones carpet before she moved in.

This community was clean and the people we met were nice. This community is a little pricier than what we were looking for. The rooms were small and they did not have a nice outdoor area. This community is near the beach.

This seemed like a clean community when the family had a short visit. They did seem disorganized as they had scheduled an appointment for a tour and the community was not ready for them. They were not able to answer some of the questions.

Things seem to be going well for my loved ones since the move to The Fountains. The problem they are facing right now is trying to get the transportation figured out. Other than that, the place is clean and the meals are good from what they have told me.

they need to improve on their menu and give change on the lunch and dinner meals instead of the same food every week

I had a tour of this community with my wife and I do not really have any complaints about our visit here. They have a great staff selection and all of the residents seemed to be enjoying themselves. They where set up to do a reasonable job with there facility. I would recommend this place to anyone looking into an assisted living.

I liked this community and I am sure it is good. The people I met were nice and the community seemed clean. The person that conducted our tour seemed to love her job, however the community I chose seemed to have a little more mature and experienced staff member.

The community was nice. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions that I had. The dining room in the community seemed a bit small. The tour was great and helpful just not the place for my loved one.

This community did not seem very social during our tour. This did not seem like a good fit for my dad. The community was clean and the staff we met were nice. There did not seem to be a lot of activities going on.

I took a tour of this community and saw a parking lot between the living and activities building. The staff were not inviting during my tour, I felt they just showed me a room and not try to understand the care I was looking for. I did not get a welcoming atmosphere with this tour.

Having my Mom as a resident has given us nothing but issues. The initial meeting with them was great. They made promises for an ipod which Mom never received. We are paying for housekeeping yet I change Mom's sheets. The dining experience is most definitely not up to par. Most of the staff are young girls that pay no attention to the residents. The activities that are scheduled never happen. I am thinking of bringing Mom home with me if things don't improve.
