Staff is very friendly! They have been very good about communicating issues and concerns with my parents health. They make a conscious effort to know their residents and families

The staff at Ivy Park is kind and caring. The number of residents in assisted living is around 40 so a smaller community. This comes with the advantage of knowing most residents but also means there may be less activities and potential connections with other residents than other facilities. My mom's room was recently remodeled so is very clean and updated.

Facility needs some fresh paint, new carpets to brighten up the common area. The main floor elevator which breaks down every two months, and need replacement per my sister as she relies on walker to wheel around the facility since her surgery. Without the main floor elevator, she has to take other elevator down to second floor, and walks down to main floor by handing onto the stair rail with her fold up walker step by step. She is supposed to get laundry service once a week, but it does not happen without her chasing after front desk to send someone over. Eight out of ten times nobody shows up that she ends up doing laundry herself. She felt pretty frustrated lately when a few washers broke down that it made it hard to find an unoccupied washer. Staff is good and helpful overall. She had a bill issue with IVY accounting from day one, and talked to related on site staff several times to get her care fee removed with her doctor's updated note on "no more diet condition". Whatever payment credits the on-site staff put through for my sister never shows up on her next bill and they still charge her care fee up till today. She is waiting to hear back from Ivy's ombudsman about it.

Smaller community with not a lot of residents. Though I wish they had more activities for the residents who live in the assisted living side. I will be moving my mom to memory care on Sunday.

Cleanliness of the facility is a 4... but there are a lot of places under repair or with stained carpet which downgrades the look of the place a little right now. Presumably when they finish it will be a 5. The food is good. The activities are hard to rate because our mom barely does any of them, but what she does do are good. So.. 4? The value for cost is hard to rate because don't really have enough experience with alternatives. Feels like a 3 to us, but 4 might be more fair if we knew what it costs at similar or more expensive places. We definitely don't feel ripped off. It's just, still, a lot of money.

Well kept facility, friendly and caring staff. Frequent turnovers of some admin, finance/billing system is antiquated. Residents are safe and well cared for. Food is less than desirable.

Sometimes there was no one on the floor except me and the residents. All staff were somewhere else. That was my only concern. Everything else was great!

Moving into The Carlotta required reading through a very long and (I thought) complex contract and dealing with several different staff members. So people should be prepared to deal with those things.

I think the facility is great given that memory care is such a hard place to work in and find staffing, the staff that is on site seems to care quite a bit. For my own personal experience with my father, he seems to be adjusted and cared for well and I do love our in-house nursing staff that is coming in, so I'm just grateful for where he is right now.

Very welcoming from admin staff to frontline staff. It has been an overall good experience with my difficult father in law. Everyone has taken time to answer our questions and help us to navigate this complex and difficult time.

The staff is among the best I've seen. They're personally committed to every resident and to the smooth and pleasant operation of the facility. I'm thoroughly impressed!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the care seems good. The place is very clean and well maintained.

[name removed] loves it there. Lots of activities. He enjoys them all. The staff love [name removed]. Doesn't have any acting out issues. He remains polite and cooperative in every way, consequently he is easy to care for. There is a lot of staff turn over. I guess that is normal.There have been issues with lapses in medications that have been serious. There are issues with transportation to doctor visits. I attend all [name removed]doctor's appointments so I've been the victim along with[name removed] of long waits and confusion about where to pick us up. The drivers don't communicate with each other and the patients pay the price. In general, I'm happy but again I'm forced to be a weekly observer and I need to ask questions concerning doctors orders being followed.

Activities - they are available, but my parents did not participate. The care staff is adequate.

I think the facility is great for people who need assisted living but they weren't very well trained for people with mid to late dementia. They didn't have enough staff to accommodate his needs. Once my dad went to a stand alone memory facility I really noticed the difference. I loved the people they tried their best.

I thought the facility was rated four out of five stars. It seemed comfortable there seem to be a nice area for dining and in a good location. The person I took the visit ended up going there.

I think family who are looking for a happy place where they are always striving to make things more fun and tend to your needs. They have new resident orientations, town halls to ask questions and requests along with addressing problems and concerns. They work with the families, residents and staff continually striving to improve everyone's quality of life.

The staff is very friendly, the facility is very clean and welcoming. Samantha the memory care director has been amazing to work with to get mom mom settled. Yes we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff is kind and caring. Chef [name removed] is the best! Some of the activities in the Evergreen/ memory care unit seem childish, appropriate for preschool children. Yes, the residents have various levels of dementia, but they are adults and should be respected as such.

The staff are very friendly and kind. When my aunt moved in, we had some challenges with getting her care services established on a consistent basis and getting the schedule for her medications set up and followed was a challenge. We had to advocate for her initially, but it now seems to be working well.
