Our tour with Sunrise of Woodland Hills was pretty good - it was definitely a better facility than where my mom was at before. The staff were nice and good with their follow up after the tour. When they asked why we did not choose them I gave them the reasons. I just did not get the feeling I was looking for.

Crescent Landing is a very caring facility. The indoor conditions are clean and odor free. The outdoor courtyard is well maintained. The staff is kind and courteous. The nursing staff is professional and always notifies of issues.

The staff are amazing. They have the patience of Job. They know what to say and how to calm an agitated resident. The facility is kept very clean and looks like a hotel. It's beautiful. When there was a stain on my mother's rug, before I could even bring it up, they already had someone there to shampoo the rug and clean it. And they are always on top of anything you bring to their attention. She has recently gone into hospice, and I can't say enough about how well Oakmont has worked together with hospice. They are right on top of everything, are very concerned for my loved one, and have been very honest and upfront with me about her condition and care.

They had garden beds and pet dogs. It was really nice, with a mountain view.

Overall for someone looking at Oakmont of Redding would certainly recommend it as a great place.

Our time with Sunrise was an overall good experience, I have no regrets. I think it's always hard being put into a position where you have to choose a community for a family member. But it was still an overall positive experience; and I wouldn't hesitate recommending Sunrise of Huntington Beach to a friend.

I toured Ivy Park at San Jose and it was a nice place. It was the furthest away from my home, so that was a negative for me. There were a lot of things I thought were good about it; but there was a glitch - which may not have been their fault. I had an appointment and they weren't able to facilitate me for at least 30 minutes, although I had arrived on time. So that sort of turned me off. It looked like a nice place, especially if its close to your home.

I really liked Sunrise of Bonita. It was close to home, and a small community like we were looking for. It would have been a good choice. But their cost was on a sliding scale depending on the level of care needed, so they would have been a little outside of our budget as our loved one's health care needs progressed. But their staff was so helpful and nice. They really worked with me to see if we could make it work and were very gracious when in the end it truly was outside of our budget.

They are having a hard time finding someone to drive the van so they are going shopping for us, they are trying their best to find someone though. They will personally drive us to church on Sundays and are being really accommodating while they figure it out. The activities are wonderful and they have a lot to offer. I love that there is a lot of wildlife to look at, the setting is in the trees so it is peaceful. We are also very close to the Japanese tea garden, grocery stores, shopping etc. so the location is great. The apartment sizes are slightly bigger than some others that I looked at. I would absolutely recommend Casa Sandoval to others looking.

This was a nice community. It was more expensive than we wanted to spend.

This was a good community. The community wasn't as opened as other family members wanted for my loved one.

Everybody is extremely friendly. They have a welcoming committee made up of residents who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, introduce you to people, eat with you so you're not eating by yourself, and to get you started to be a real member of the community. Everything is very clean. All of the staff is extremely courteous and seem very caring. They have lots of and varied activities, so there's something for everyone. One issue - they lost their chef and have been struggling getting another one. So the food has not been good for about a month. But I know they're working on that. Otherwise, everything has been a 5/5. I highly recommend it to other families. My dad tells me almost every time I go to visit, "I love this place." So we feel vey comfortable that we made a good choice. And his apartment is beautiful. In his particular apartment, there is a window alcove where his desk fits perfectly. It has lots of light, and he loves sitting at his desk looking out at the view. It's just so nice and bright, which is very important for him.

We toured Sunrise of Tustin and I really liked it and wanted to take my dad there. The community is conveniently located, and they had a beautiful lobby area. We chose another community because Sunrise was slow to respond. The room they showed us was filled to the ceiling with furniture and equipment, so they didn't appear anxious to rent out the room.

I wanted a community that was smaller and not to overwhelming for my loved one. The tour was very good and they gave me all of the information that I needed it was just not the environment that I was looking for for my loved one.

We chose Oakmont of Agoura Hills because my loved one really liked the fact that the facility was brand new and it is only a mile from our house. Since they are newer they are still working out some of the kinks but they are very on top of it if there are any issues. There is a beautiful large courtyard with a fountain. They have a few places here and there where my loved one can sit, but there is not a lot of outdoor spaces to sit outside of the building. They have one room in the complex that has a balcony, but the other rooms do not have any. The apartments are beautiful though and by far the best we have seen. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

This community is safe and is a nice place for you or your loved one. Most of the time the staff are okay and helpful with my loved one.

Beautiful community with very welcoming staff that was clean. This was too far from family.

Del Opispo Terrace was our second choice. The rooms they offered were bigger than other places we toured, and the rooms had terraces. The only reasons we didn't go there were 1) their services were a little higher cost. And 2) the available unit that she was looking at getting there was kind of dark, and she wanted more natural light.
