Ivy Park San Jose made the transition very smooth for my Sister who was coming from a post hospital rehab facility. This was after [community removed] refused her admittance at the last minute. I would not recommend [community removed] to anyone. Ivy Park assessed her needs and put together a solid care plan. We were able to move her to their community. They have provided the needed support for her. Their pricing for services has been fair.

I am a new resident at Oakmont. I am extremely impressed with the care and attention that is given to each resident. Everyone greets you with a smile and asks if you need help with anything. I use a walker, but am a fall risk and it is very comforting to be in a safe and comfortable place. The food is delicious. There are many amenities that I am still learning about. The grounds are well-kept and lovely. Being here has given me peace of mind since my 88 yr old husband recently passed away.

The Carlisle itself is an inviting well-kept building. The apartments that I saw were spacious and interesting--in previous years owners made changes that worked for them so not cookie cutter. [name removed], the marketing director is very good at his job.

We picked this community, because of the layout of the apartment. The building is only a couple of years old. It's very clean and the staff is wonderful. Four outings a month and four shopping trips per month. There is a nice theater with movies every night at 6:30 PM. Usually just somebody brings in a DVD or it's Netflix.

I loved Ivy Park and Highly recommend them. One example was my moms hospital bed did not come the first night and the charge nurse came by to check on her at 2 am found out she was sleeping in a chair and moved her to a model room to get sleep. They go way beyond to help and treat their residents like family. The staff calls you by name and remembers who you are and who your relative is. They listen and respond quickly. I would recommend them to anyone.
