The staff at Westmont of Milpitas are very friendly and helpful. Though there has been quite a bit of turnover with the staff. The housekeeping has improved. The food is a hit or a miss. Sometimes good. Other times not so good. Communication with the family has been good. I would recommend Westmont of Milpitas to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at Ivy Park at Santa Rosa and everything has been very good for him at this facility so far. I am very satisfied with the care and attention that my loved one receives at this facility. Their entrance fee is very steep and non-negotiable, however. It would be nice if that were less. Overall, I would recommend Ivy Park at Santa Rosa to others.

My mom lived at Oakmont San Jose for five years. After being at three other memory care facilities [name removed], OSJ was the perfect solution, and where she lived out her final days. My mom was accustomed to high-end hotels and a glamorous life, with excellent customer service and care. We found OSJ to be the perfect fit for high-cognitive seniors. It was so wonderful to visit her as she was engaged in activities or sitting on the beautiful patio having lunch. The current head nurse [name removed] and memory care director [name removed] are the best in the biz and were the only team to regularly keep in touch with me as her only child and POA. While the leadership changed many times over the course of her residency, the care staff was consistent, and my mom felt safe in her lovely private room. OSJ also welcomed and collaborated well with my mom's physical therapists, external caregivers, end-of-life doulas, and hospice.

No place is perfect, but the community is very nice and will work with you to take care of your loved ones. The medical staff level, all the medtechs in Memory care are LVNs and their wellness staff has multiple nurses under the Director.

I would say that my mother is comfortable here. I would recommend to others. We picked this community because it was more affordable.

My mom like the feel of it the best. Smaller, homey feel to the place. The residents were sitting around talking to each other. Friendly. The apartments were larger than other places The outside patio area is nice, shaded with lots of seating.

The communication between the floor manager and the families need to be much more. They need to be better with laundry service, have lost many pairs of brand new pants and shirts. They keep her bedroom door open all day long, and at least one of the clients comes into my aunts room and lays on her bed!!! Few more things. Don't get a fuzzy feeling from [name removed] the ED. Beautiful facility, good food.

We toured Oakmont of Escondido Hills during our search for an Assisted Living/Memory Care facility for our loved one. This was a very nice facility! The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The overall atmosphere was good. We considered this facility, but ultimately decided that it was too far from home.

I can access the facility 24hours and she is able to smoke there. I would recommend to others.

Our family had an in person tour with Ivy Park at San Marino community and it was a very facility but it was just out of our price range for our loved one.

What we like the most about the Ivy Park at Culver City is the staff members. We really like all of the staff members that are working there and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to others who are looking for a place for their loved ones

My loved one is currently a resident at Elk Grove Park and everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. The staff are quite wonderful, friendly and helpful. Communication to the responsible family members could be better. The move in process was great. I would recommend Elk Grove Park to family and friends.

What we like the most about The Ivy at Hawaii Kai community is the staff. The staff members are really friendly and they really take care of our loved one. Also the dining room service is great.

The staff and director are excellent. The corporate entity is too concerned with how things look. Budgets for flowers and balloons and white table cloths instead of quality food. Has not increased food budget with inflation.

Beautiful facility- wonderful views from windows. Strong in most areas with occasional lapses. Caring servers and caregivers. Value in various areas could be improved given high cost.

Staff is much more engaged with residents. The residents are also more active and verbal. I also noticed that families visit a lot more. Nursing staff keeps me updated when they see me. They are very proactive.

Picked the community thinking my mother would be more comfortable her own room, familiar views out the windows, nicer atmosphere, adequate services, and affordable based on estimated services costs. Service costs tripled without us being consulted and notified till the bill arrived. We moved her out at 5 weeks and had to go meet with the staff when they did not return $[removed] of the refund. Oakmont has a corporate bottom line, not local feel. Places like Oakmont seems to work better for those who can be very independent, and use the services they are paying for.

The location is easy and closer to get to. The atmosphere was very calming and had friendly, caring staff. They were functional and organized. I knew my mom would like this environment.

My loved one is safe and cared for at Ivy Park. The staff there are wonderful and generally do their best to be accommodating for residents. The issues that we've had are constant pricing increases. The rent just went up considerably and now the point system for services is also going up. Be aware that this happens regularly and needs to be planned for. If your loved one needs additional services they are charged based on a point system where a seemingly random number of points are assigned to each service. For example, if your loved one is found to have a severe speech impairment (based on their assessment), 6 points are assigned. You'll pay per point (let's say $18), which means you'll pay an additional $18x6 on top of monthly rent. Hands-on assistance with incontinence is assigned 74 points, so factor $18x74 into your monthly costs. Make absolutely sure you understand the care costs/point system when considering Ivy Park. Resident turnover seems pretty high.

My loved one is currently a resident at Ivy Park at Laguna Woods. The move in process was smooth and the people were helpful. The meals are okay, but not great. They could do a better job with providing snacks during the off hours and for evening eating after the dining room closes at seven. Sometimes the communication internally is not very good, so you really do need to advocate for your loved one here to help navigate the system, which is a little bit difficult to navigate. This facility seems way more alive and interactive than other Assisted Living places that I have visited. It is located in a central place near restaurants too, so not stuck off in an inaccessible location like some of the other facilities. I think the biggest strength is that they are trying and they are friendly and they do want to work with families and the residents have a positive sense of community. I would recommend this facility to others.
