Always ask how stable management is because every time it changes, staff changes and this effects residents drastically! Thank God for the dedicated care staff who remain and try to keep things normal.

My Mom was in Memory Care for 6 years. She got great care but hated every minute. I have a lot of experience with "assisted living. Everyone hates it but we're all going to need it at the beginning and end of our lives. Human beings always complain about the food in residential care, whether it's school, summer camp, the military, prison or residential living. Even in our own homes. Left to their own devices, most would complain even with total autonomy. If an adequate amount of healthy food is available, it's a trivial complaint. The most important thing in an assisted living facility is the caregivers. Fortunately, my loved one has not needed a huge amount of attention from them. But I have confidence that they will care for her if she needs it. That is why she is there.

The staff has been very friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful. I wish there were more options for activities on the memory care side. There are amazing ones on assisted living side. Understandably, they can't have as many based on some of the residents' abilities. As for the staff- it took us a little while to figure out who you go to for what need you have. Once we got that figured out it was really good. Everyone does seem genuinely interested in trying to help though. And staff is always friendly. They seem very willing to work through our particular family needs. For the food- there aren't as many choices for food on the memory care side as assisted living, so we are still figuring that out but our dad seems happy with it.

Overall the staff are very nice and provide good care. Communication and contacting administrative staff is a challenge. We realize there has been a change in ownership companies the day after placing my father in-law and we hope it will get better.

It's a nice community and I know my mom is safe and has her needs attended to. We were able to get her a two bedroom-two bath with a very small kitchen that worked for her needs.

The care at Oakmont of Silver Creek is good. Communication regarding issues or changes could improve, regular written reports on the status of the resident is also needed. Staff turn over is high. More staffing is needed at times, when some of the residents are agitated they suck up all the available staff leaving others less attended. The food is, in general, good quality, plenty. Sugar can be cut back, even tough most residents like sweet stuff, it is not good for them. They get too much sugar with juice with every meal, plus there is desert after every meal. More physical activity needs to be scheduled. There are regular activities, but adjusted for the residents who are in wheelchairs and walkers, others can use more physical activities. An add-on, they can have sports etc on TV for those who like to watch sports. I am happy with Oakmont and not planning on changing, but it is very expensive. They raised their prices by 7%, which forced me to eliminate physical therapy since that is out of pocket. Administration is okay. They went through 3 directors and many staff changes. It has settled down some, but still I see new care staff on a regular basis. Went through a couple of mishaps with the billing, as well.

I'd say it is a pleasant place with good food and nice people. However, they have holes in their services due to short staffing. Also they have a dryer stacked on the washer that is too high for 90 percent of the people to use.All that said, everyone I talked to are happy their.

I feel at home here. Things are not perfect, but the other residents are friendly and supportive. The food has improved with the new chef. There is staff turnover, but problems are being addressed with the Residents Council working with the ED. I would recommend this place to others.

Ivy Park has wonderful activities for the elderly. Lots of great activities & exercise every day. The facilities are very clean & comfortable for my mom, she is very happy. The food could use a slight boost. The team members are very friendly.

The staff was great! Maintenance was a little slow.

I have been living at Oakmont of Pacific Beach now for over a year and an HAPPY AS I COULD BE! There was a few bumps with F&B services for short time but they have resolved all of that and for the rest this place is EXCELLENT because of the people that work here besides the fact that facilities are great we are two blocks from beach and they have great events for all of us but again it is the staff here management caregivers activities coordinators F&B personnel they make this place great and I am very grateful for them and to be so blessed to live here. Oakmont Corporate should be very proud of their staff!! Care Givers here are excellent above and beyond in their service to us all. The staff here are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!

The staff is truly amazing. The care that even the lowest level people provide is excellent. They have a great on site nursing staff. The food seems about average. If not a little below what I would expect for the money. The cleanliness is great. The one thing I would pass along that might not be positive is the sales experience. They really leave the care aspect up in the air per cost. Other facilities give you a tier and a price point that you can compare or budget for. In the case at Ivy Park, they leave it open ended and say it could be [removed] per month and will just have to see later. It's difficult to budget and compare. The incontinence program also is very costly. Overall, I would recommend the facility to others.

They didn't seem to have a protocol in place to receive a new resident. So far the staff has been outstanding with interactions, extremely helpful in assistance and upbeat and very pleasant with residents.

I would recommend it to others. We looked at Ivy Park Of Wellington first, but found other communities were lacking overall by comparison .Overall very nice. We pikced this community because of the spaciousness, cleanliness, and good activity level.

Generally speaking, the staff is very good! There is an employee that I'm keeping an eye on as she seems impatient with residents in the memory care area. Our family has 3 people that visit during the week and we are all aware of this. Housekeeping is good I guess, however, we clean my mom's room when we are there. There was an odor in my mom's room last week that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from, but I think it's resolved now. As far as communication goes, I think it's fine. We keep a binder on my mom's dresser and we each make notes as to how our visits go and some of the care takers also write in it! The move in process went smoothly! Most of the meals look good and my mom has gained weight being there! There are a lot of activities that keep them busy on a daily basis! My suggestions would be that I would like to see them wipe chairs and tables down more often and thoroughly. They don't always feel clean and with elderly, the seats can be soiled with out anyone knowing. I would and have recommended The Lodge to other family and friends!

At this point we would say it's a good place. As I said it's only been a little over a month that she's been there and we're still working out a few kinks. But their response so far to any of our questions/concerns has been good.The main reason we picked it is because they include memory care tenants with assisted living in their activities. We wanted her to have an active social life. The other reason is that the community is close to family members so we can see her often.

They are friendly and responsive. They have helped get mom's glucose numbers down. They make her feel at home.We actually picked another community, but they had a delayed opening so mom got settled and now we won't change it because it has been so good for mom.

I would say the staff is very caring and compassionate. The facility is very clean, well maintained and attractive. It has lots of light and nice porches with places to sit. It's close to a very pleasant walking path. The food is consistently mediocre to bad and the serving times are rigid. Breakfast is at 8, lunch at noon and dinner at 5. Food service is spotty and the food is often lukewarm. I picked the place because it is 2 miles from my home and I could go see my husband often. It turned out that we need a place where we can live together where I can have a kitchen because I love to cook.
