I would tell others that it is a very nice, friendly community to move into. It was a good move for me. They have games, lectures, exercise classes, take you on walks, movies, and other activities for the residents to choose from.

We chose Sunrise of Burlingame because I liked the different levels of care that they offered. My mom has moved between assisted living over to memory care. The staff members have been really good about communication with everything going on and are always friendly and helpful. If I call up there they always know who I am. The room sizes here based on this area are good. We have had some issues with billing recently but overall I would recommend them.

The only issue we have had with Brookdale Elk Grove is with billing. I called the manager up here and could not get a hold of her so I had to call the district manager and he was very responsive. Other than that, all the staff members here were great and very helpful. I really liked the layout, they were little bungalows that were very well kept on beautiful grounds. I also thought it was a good value for the money in comparison to others places. I would recommend to others looking.

The person that met with me and gave me the tour was very friendly and gave me lots of information When you walk into the building there is a little foyer that opens up into a great room that is light and bright with two story ceilings. That was huge for me because it wasn't depressing at all. Her room looks out on trees and greenery. We had to move my mom quickly and within 24 hours, Sunflower Gardens assessed my mom at the hospital and had her moved in. The Director of Care gave me his cell number and I am able to call or text him at any time for updates. It has been pretty amazing. I do feel like the community, as a whole, should have better communication during this time though.

My parents have been living at the Wellington for five month. My mom was tired of cooking at home and did not want the responsibility of taking care of their home. We moved them in, and the food has been great. I have personally eaten over 25 meals there. Another thing I love about the Wellington is the community. There are some very nice residents. They all seem to really care about each other. I have had several conversations with the management, and I have been very pleased to be heard and respected.

Mom adjusted to her new home very quickly and is more happy today than I have seen her in the last two years! The staff is very attentive, friendly, and patient. My siblings and I are more confident now that we made the best decision for our mom. Thank you for your assistance!

This is a great place for seniors. We had such a hard time finding a place for our mother. In my opinion, Sunrise is a good place because it is a smaller living center, so their residents get more attentive care. The employees know all the residents first names, and they get to know their personalities, which allows them to give each resident the personal care they need. The food is good. They have exercise classes, bingo, scenic drive outings, shopping trips, restaurant and museum trips, holiday parties, etc. Residents do not just sit in their rooms all day. If residents do have any problems they do have someone who advocates for them. When I did complain, about a few occurrences, my concerns were taken care of right away. I felt better knowing that they did not just acknowledge and just ignore the problems. They resolved and corrected the problems immediately. I wish I could remove my last review.

My Grandmother has been living here now for 3 months. The Grounds are neat and well kept. The staff is kind and sincere with all the Seniors and treat them very gently. Recently there has been a turn over in staff so the activities have not been what they used to be but my grandmother is happy and has adjusted very well in such a short period of time.

While the adventure of reconciling my mother’s stroke has presented numerous challenges, her care and conditions at Sienna at Otay Ranch have been a welcome respite. The sales person and ED were kind and not at all pushy during intake, and really care about the residents. As the facility is still relatively new, and yet to be filled, they continue to evolve to service the residents, recently hiring a new director of health and welfare for additional support. They purchased their first Hoyer lift for my mother, and trained the staff so that she could be taken out of bed every day. Most recently she was having some chest and urinary pain that turned out not to be serious, but the new care manager handled the episode before, during, and after her return from the hospital with aplomb. Mom is still getting used to the larger reality of her condition, which is not always easy, but I feel good about her care, and confident about a sense of ethics and commitment that Sienna has demonstrated.

We were referred to Fullerton Gardens after visiting a number of other locations. The location was very clean and there was always someone there to assist my mom. They made her as comfortable as possible during her last few months. She was always clean and properly dressed. It seemed like every time I visited there was another activity going on. The only issue is that the parking can be limited during busy hours. Thanks you all at the Fullerton Gardens for taking care of my mom.

My husband has been living here for 3 months. The facility is beautiful, the staff very friendly and caring. The food is excellent. His only complaint is that service in the dining room is slow.

After touring several communities, from the moment I entered I knew this is the place for my mother. I called to schedule an appointment with the tour director, she was wonderful very warm and friendly. She was very attentive to the residents and even made me feel a sense of comfortable as oppose to some of my previous visit with other communities. Every staff member greeted me as if they knew me personally. The community was clean, smelled fresh and residents appear to be very happy. Needless to say, my mom will be moving in.

Happy, friendly residents, good food, lovely patios...traditional environment; lacks only an exercise room and swimming pool. A great choice!

It was a difficult process earlier this year to find an adequate assisted living facility for my mom when it was clear she could no longer live on her own in the home where she had been for 60 years. We looked into several possibilities and were fortunate to settle on Casa Sandoval in Hayward. There were some other facilities that would have worked for us as well but in the end Casa Sandoval best suited our needs and those of my mother. Fortunately for us it is relatively close to my residence which allows us more frequent interaction with her but the major positive is the outstanding staff at Casa Sandoval and the dedicated care they provide for my mom.. they have done a great job with whatever needs she may have . We are also happy with the overall cleanliness of not only her private apartment but with the entire overall facility. The dining hall provides her with very adequate choices and the staff there are again very helpful and provide all residents with very personable care and service. We would not hesitate to recommend Casa Sandoval to anyone who is in the process of finding quality care for family members or friends..This facility will most likely fill their needs and their fees are relatively reasonable to other options. We feel very fortunate that we chose to look towards Casa Sandoval as one of our options when we originally put our list together of facilities we wanted to evaluate. Thank you for the opportunity to express our appreciation for the work being done at Casa Sandoval in regards for the care being provided for my mother.

Sunrise Studio City is the best choice for my Mom. She has increasing dementia yet remains active and functions fairly normally. She moved from a single care assisted apartment to the Reminiscence Program they offer at Sunrise Studio City where she receives excellent care from well trained nurses and caregivers who understand her needs. We are very pleased and satisfied with our choice of Sunrise Studio City.

My dear friend [name removed] died at Sunrise Senior Living in Monterey on Friday, March 2. She was 100 years old and moved into Sunrise at 99. She had all her marbles, as she would often say. I am writing to thank every staff member at Sunrise for their affection and care of [name removed]. I was there a lot with [name removed]. I was there when caregivers came and went from her room and brought her daily medications, when they took her to the dining room when they helped her with showering, and when they brought her beloved strawberry ice cream. I was there when she was failing and the nurse [name removed] did not leave her side in the dead of night and/or had other caregivers check on [name removed] every 30 minutes. [Name removed] loved it at Sunrise and told me often. ""Everyone is so nice here", she would say to me. I wish I could name all of you but there are so many good, hard working employees: [names removed], [name removed], "the drug lady", [names removed]. I am forgetting so many. If you have a loved one and you are looking at care facilities - Sunrise is your home. Thank you Sunrise for taking such good care of my dear, dear friend. I will never forget.

My aunt was so happy at Atria Sutton. The staff, especially [names removed] were so caring & supportive. The facility is beautiful. The food is excellent, such a variety & delicious. You will not find a better “home” for your loved one than Atria Sutton.

I absolutely recommend this property to other families that are looking into various options. The staff is very kind and I haven’t had any issues at all. They provide quite a few activities as well. They have outings to go to grocery stores, shopping centers, and pharmacies. As for onsite activities they have bingo, card games, and outside entertainment. People come in weekly that are either storytellers, musicians, or singers. They keep everyone up to date on what’s happening by printing out calendars for everyone’s convenience.

Mom loves her new place. She's especially pleased with the care provided to her as she is virtually bed-ridden. The personal care has been very good in this first month. She even likes the food!

My husband seems to like living at this community. The staff are focused on him and the other residents to be sure they are comfortable. The food seems to be good and they take good care of the community. They do offer some daily activities and the staff encourage him to participate in some. He seems to be comfortable here and I would recommend this community.
