I liked this place a lot - esp the memory care wing. the person in charge of that wing was so personable - in the sense that Dad would really like her. Set up very similar to Terraces - and very willing to work with residents - to make as much a home as possible. - Hard pressed to say at this point which place I liked best Terraces or here. Like

Our experience with the community was excellent overall! Because of being in a hurry we could only tour the facility once but the facility was in excellent condition; the staff and the care offered was fantastic. First impressions are important and because of the lack of the "weird smell" that most senior we felt comfortable continuing, only to be continuously impressed with other aspects of the facility. Our loved one needed a high level of care and we felt comfortable with the staff due to their friendly, cheerful, and wonderful disposition. Overall the value was well worth the investment, and we were happy to pay less than we would expect.

They are very nice and it’s clean environment with a very friendly staff. It’s really just like an upscale hotel. We had no problems finding laundry or parking. The food is good. The activities could be a little bit better though.

I'm really happy. I really moaned and complained initially about how expensive it was, I have concluded that with all the activities and outings they do, it is worth every penny. Laundry is done on a regular basis and we haven't had any laundry "mishaps". The food is really good over there, too. I couldn't have picked a better place, and I almost didn't even look at it because I thought it might be too far. It's brand new and beautiful and clean. I took a friend over there, and they were really positive about it, she said, "What's not to love, what is holding you back?".

My sister and I spent several days visiting places for Mom. Emeritus was the last place we visited and we both agreed that the memory care cottage is where Mom would fit in best. It is not the most glamorous facility, nor is it the newest, but it is warm and comfortable and the staff is kind and caring. There are 16 ladies in "Elm" cottage with at least three staff members present at all times. The rooms are clean and open and most residents are out and about during the waking hours. Meal time is especially nice as the meals are served on linen tablecloths with matching napkins and nice glassware and dishes. The food is appetizing and colorful with at least two choices available at every meal. Mom has been at Emeritus for 8 days and each day she is dressed, hair combed and clean. Both my sister and I are most pleased and we hope that Mom is also pleased.

This place is unbelievable. It was a cruise without the water, a land cruise. I ate there every Sunday that our loved one was there, the food is amazing. It was the one of the only ones that could accommodate a respite stay. They were so helpful, I got the director on the phone on a Friday night, that's unheard of! I'd like to retire there myself someday. They all know me by name there. They are so friendly and helpful.

It’s the best in the world! I wish they had memory care. On the overall value I’d give them a ten out five. It’s like putting her in a nice hotel where they manage medications as well. They have a nice outside area for residents! The shuttle seems uncomplicated. Once you have seen Atria you don’t need to see anything else!

This place feels like a 5 star hotel! It's expensive but when my mom and I realized what she could get when she sold her house, it made this facility a viable option for her. The meals are restaurant style - no assigned times, seating or meals. That's really what sold my mom and me. My only suggestion would be to strengthen the activity program. There are many outings and transportation, but inside the building, there's not a lot going on.

Loved the facility! It was clean, welcoming, and I really liked that they even offer outings for residents in Memory Care too!

We really liked what we saw when we visited Casa. The residents looked like they were happy and engaged. Based on the staff we met and how they got involved in the activities and 'theme' for the year/month, made we feel working at Casa was more than a job to them. We got the sense they really enjoyed their work and cared. We appreciated the fact that the monthly fee appears to be increased only as needed, as opposed to automatic annual increases. We appreciated the 'rules' for daily living are stable and do not change, which can be a frustrating experience for residents, especially if rules are changed to benefit the owner not the resident.

They have everything put together, they know what they are doing. The food was excellent. I can't say enough good things about them. The only reason I moved was that I needed a one bedroom and they just didn't have any at the time.

My loved one was here for a short time, but they did a great job! It was a fantastic stay! My loved one had a really good time here! The facility itself is much better than some of the others around, and they were a real class act! It was great!

Everything is going very well so far! I would rate them very highly. They are working with us to make sure that my loved one is healthy and eating well. I really can't think of anything that would need improvement. We mainly chose them over the others because the facility was very clean, and the location was good for our family as well.

My loved was here for both assisted living, and eventually memory care before we moved him elsewhere. As an assisted living community this place gets a 5 out of 5. It is a beautiful place, and the staff and residents were all very friendly, and the price was reasonable. However, once my loved one graduated to needing memory care things took a downturn. Moving to the memory care section was a large increase in price, and the memory care section here was not very large or well equipped, he essentially spent most of his time sitting in a hallway. Great place, if you're interested in assisted living, but for memory care you may want to look elsewhere.

We are very impressed with this community! The staff is very friendly, and it seems like they really care about all of the residents. The communication with the staff is also very good. There is a good variety of food, and I wouldn't mind going there for lunch. We been really pleased, and lucked out! They also have a dog at the community, who keeps everyone company! The only thing is that it is really expensive... but then again, they all are. It would be nice if they could reduce the cost a little.

My Mother who is 89 years old moved into Las Palmas from a Skilled Nursing Facility three weeks ago. She had a fall at her home five weeks earlier and was no longer able to live by herself. It is such a comfort for me and the family to know she is being assisted in a safe environment. It has been an adjustment for her after being independent for the 10 years since her husband passed away, but Las Palmas has made it a good experience for her. The first week was a challenge as she adjusted to the change, but because of the friendliness and great care from the staff of Las Palmas she is doing well and happy. She is enjoying not having to shop for her own food, cook, and clean-up and finds the food in the dining room very good. She especially enjoys the social interaction that she didn't have living by herself. Thank you Las Palmas and A Place for Mom!

We have been caring for two elderly family members at two different Assisted Living communities. After being able to compare side by side we can say this is one of the best communities around. The bottom line at ANY community is the staff. Ask around and see if the staff from the general to the executive level are happy. Ask the residents how the staff interacts with them. If you have a happy staff generally you will have happy residents. The executive staff sets the tone for the entire community.

Everyone at Villagio is so accommodating and friendly. It feels just like home. I can see my husband feels like he lives here and is not anxious to leave or get away.

My father thoroughly enjoyed his two week stay at Vintage Silver Creek. He has always liked dining out at fine restaurants. The wonderful selection of meals offered along with the courteous serving staff at Silver Creek afforded him that experience again. Everyone in management and the staff create a safe and caring environment for the residents. I will definitely arrange for my father to stay their again in the future.
