Assisted living is questionable here. I think if somebody can truly take care of themselves, they'll do okay. I don't find that they assisted that well, including with medications, etc. In my loved one's case, her dementia got worse, and they couldn't handle it. They sent her to the hospital because she was "acting up." At one point she fell and bloodied her nose and eye and had to go the hospital for that. Then they kept calling our family and telling us we needed to move her out, without the usual 30 days notice. And once we did get her moved out, they did not refund the substantial move-in deposit. She had only been there 2 months, so it doesn't seem unreasonable to ask for that deposit back.

The staff is wonderful. Food not so good. More of a nursing home.

Staff is good. Food fair. Front office excellent. Courtyard is subpar. Understaffed. Treatment to residents good.

The food was terrible. They served bologna sandwiches for dinner, with no water. They often missed meals and my mom was starving. They said they had 24 hour nursing, but they didn't, there was no RN on staff. Twice, the doctor ordered prescriptions when my mom was sick, and both times it took four days to get the medications. A few caregivers were absolutely excellent, but the rest were just there to collect a paycheck. Everyday there were red flags. I would say to people, don't go there. The owner is in it for the money and would skimp on everything. This place isn't worth the money.

Facility small and undergoing upgrades. Simple floor plan; like courtyard. Residents seem happy. Location convenient to much. Todd very helpful. Pricing for assisted living services very fair. One level allows for quick exits.

[Name removed] wasn't able to meet for tour, cancelled. Staff tried a short tour, however, my daughter and I cancelled the tour. On entry viewing we saw it's not a good fit for our family member. The rating is not a complete rating as we didn't do the tour.

After speaking with [name removed] for several minutes at the start of our tour, we quickly agreed it would not be a good fit for my dad. It seems Artisan is pretty specifically for memory care patients, which my dad is not. The population is also much older and it does not seem to offer the level of care and activities we would want for my dad. The facility was clean and the staff seemed friendly; however, they were a little unorganized and didn't seem to be expecting me.

I had a lot of tours and this community was not a good fit for my mom. The representative I met with was upfront and they gave me a pretty good tour of the community.

Very expensive per month in comparison with another facility I found that was in much better condition and had more of a homey feel. I did see staff engaging with the residents and they do have a nice activity schedule.

[Removed] was a great tour guide. Appearance of facility lacked a lot. As I entered building they had 3 dead hanging baskets at the front door, not good. Staff was very nice, but the facility seem to lack simulation for patrons and the whole place really needs a face lift. Small facility which was nice.

On our tour of the community it seemed like it would be a good place to live in. During the tour we were shown a room that was too small for two people. They did not have what we needed, a bigger room.

After touring this facility, we were not impressed. The staff seemed able to care for my aunt, but the facility had an institutionalized, hospital feel to it. There were also shared rooms and bathrooms, which is not an atmosphere that I would have liked my aunt to be in.

This is a great place for my mom. She is in great care with the excellent staff that are very helpful and caring to make sure that everything for my mom is going well. The food is very appealing with a good variety. They offer many activities to keep active. This is a great community will excellent care for loved ones.

The community at Artisan Senior Living Middleton is recently updated. They just went through a remodel and have a completely new layout. The community is located close to town making it easy for visits. They have an overall lack of staffing. They could not take on our loved one because they were understaffed. The community has help wanted signs posted outside.

Sloppy management. Not recommended because of poor quality of food and CNA's.

This was nice but had a large one time fee. I didnt like that the rooms had no shower. The staff to patient ratio was 9-1. This didnt meet my husbands need.

We use the day program here. It's clean, there is no smell. The activities coordinator was gone for a while, and there weren't any activities for a while, she is back now, and that's working out. Samantha the activities director is wonderful, she knows all the clients, and she is wonderful with them. They have all been very nice. I haven't gotten any invoices, and I would like to see that. There has been some staff turnover. I think with a little consistency they could be a four.

I would say that it’s clean. It’s secure. There are limited activities, sometimes limited staffing. I think the food looked adequate. There was always enough parking. I found that the staffing levels created a lack of attention for the residents.

Sounded amazing, but due to the cost (and a little the location), I opted not to even visit.
