This is an excellent community, and we a good, but short experience. My brother in law was here for a short time, but during his time here he was happy. Everybody is very kind, and helpful. He loved the meals, and enjoyed his time in this community. I would highly recommend this community, it is a very nice place.

My tour of this community went well. The community was clean, and well-kept from what I saw. The staff was kind, and informative. It was a nice experience, and everything went well overall.

I really liked the Brookdale Sussex when I toured it, but they turned down my aunt because of her limitations. We chose another community but this one would be a great choice for someone looking.

My first time visiting Prairie Ridge was a great first time impression from my stand point. Staff was very professional and outgoing. The tour was very information answered all my questions. I would recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful care is provided to all the residents. The residents are kept active on a daily basis. Monthly outings occur as well as two yearly resident/family events. Holidays are always celebrated such as the resident birthdays Food is great and the cooks are amazing

They have really helped my mom improve on different things. She is socializing with other people and helped with her incontinent problem. I had Thanksgiving dinner with my sister and the community, the food was good. She looks happy and I am pleased with them so far. I like the girls's attitude that are uplifting all the time and they are around where they are at, all over the place with them. I like that it is like a family.

Extremely friendly and welcoming the staff and residents. They also welcome anyone coming in.

The community is always kept clean and well maintained with lots of positive energy in the complex. The staff have all been delightful and have kept great communication with me about my loved one. There is a lack of encouragement when it comes to making my father take care of his hygiene, other than that I have no complaints.

Mom likes this community, however she does not think they are able to provide her the care she needs. The staff are nice and do what they can for her. The food is good and the community is clean. I also wanted to thank A Place for Mom for their assistance in locating this community.

The staff that offered the tour of Artisan Senior Living Middleton were friendly and courteous. They were very knowledgeable and were able to address all of our concerns. The community was nicely kept and clean throughout.

Very friendly admin staff; did not encounter many aides. Some parts of building appeared a bit worn, and some slight odors in some areas. Staff to resident ration on the high side.

BrightStar is a fairly new facility that succeeds in employing people who really care. The food is excellent, and they earn points for checking on residents often throughout the day and successfully encouraging them to participate in activities, which a lot of facilities say they will, but really don't. Caregivers strive to meet expectations and the only area of improvement I can see is that they’d benefit from additional hands-on oversight, training, and follow through (from someone with formal training and experience in medical assisting) to ensure care plans are being followed. Also, there have been times when my mom’s care could have been better and we would have felt more reassured if there had been a floor nurse or MA on site 24/7 dispensing all medications and overseeing and documenting medical issues. Both the director and facility nurse are wonderful, dedicated people, but they wear too many administrative hats already to take on the additional tasks of dispensing meds, hands-on training and follow-through that’s needed especially on the memory care floor.

This is a lovely building and the staff is very friendly. However, they are short-staffed, but I give them A for effort. Meds are not distributed correctly. And maintenance is poor.

I think they were very friendly and my dad enjoyed the people there. Being a little bit on the small side there were not a lot of activities. The hallways were small which made it hard getting through sometimes, especially with wheelchairs. They only had one-room studio apartments, so they were not very big rooms.

Brightstar is a new Assisted Living community. The staff is enthusiastic and caring. The facility is well suited for mom's needs.

Overall I'm happy with BrightStar Senior Living. The staff is good and they really try to accommodate the wellness portion. I expected more after we moved in. From how things seemed when we toured, they were great and talked up being able to cater and give more one on one care and attention, but weren't able to meet that after we moved in. They really do try though, however there has been a lot of turn over. They have a physician that comes in, which is a large benefit. The activity director is fabulous. They work hard to get people out of their rooms and involved in the wonderful activities. Overall I'm happy with the services and care my mother is receiving.

Beautiful facility, friendly and caring staff. VERY pricey!

They were very good. Looking back the only problem I had was that maybe a little more one-on-one when I was trying to get her used to the place might have been helpful. There was enough parking. They were very friendly, very concerned.

We toured this located when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This was a nice looking place overall. It was well kept and clean, and the staff were all very friendly. However, this was not a locked facility and wouldn't work well for Seniors that wandered, so it wasn't a good option for Dad.

very clean. nice staff. very small building. only 45 rooms. rooms are quite small. had lunch here. pretty good food. dining room had usual hours like other places. clean. friendly staff. prices slightly higher. probably because they are smaller. cable not included in rent, but laundry is. other places include cable but don't do laundry.
