In my job I serve the senior population so am familiar with several good communities in the area. But none were better suited to my mother in laws care needs more than artisan. She received true TLC there and was more engaged than she had been in a long time.

Things seem to be going very well at Savannah Court for my loved one! It is a nice looking place, they keep everything very clean, and all of the staff and residents are friendly. They are worth a look if you're looking for senior living in the area!

All is going well at Sterling House. I'm satisfied with the services, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, and services they offer.

I am the primary care giver for my 89 year mother. I needed a place to take her for a week while I went on a short vacation. We looked at four places in our neighborhood and decided on Bright Star. Bright Star was not the cheapest, in fact it was the most expensive, but the facility was new, well appointed and the staff were helpful and attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend Bright Star to anyone looking for long stay or respite. We will definitely be coming back.

My mother has been extremely happy at Savannah Court. She brags about how the toast is served "hot" . . . ."You don't get that in most restaurants!" "Everyone is just as friendly as can be" is another comment from her. We have been extremely pleased with our choice to move our mom into Savannah Court. You can tell that they really do care.

Our family member has only been there about one month, but our early impressions are very good! The facility is clean, spacious and nicely appointed. The staff is warm and welcoming; we have observed genuine caring for residents. We are impressed with the variety of activities and services offered. Our family member has adjusted well to brand new surroundings.

Staff is on the upswing as they have hired more people and are training them. In our first two weeks there, there was a major shake up. Management people were let go as well as several staff members. New team seems very on top of things and we're very happy with what they're doing. Mom's care has really improved with much more attention to her grooming, her interactions with others and their communicating with us. They need to do something removal of carpet to get rid of urine smell, but they're taking one area at a time. This is only in memory care. I really can't speak for the lower level. Apartment size is similar to others. Two choices in memory care. Bedroom only or bedroom plus small living area. Meals are quite nice and good variety.

Food was good, cleanliness good, activities were good too. Kept everyone busy. Staff was mostly good a few times were a bit sketchy with trying find someone to help. Overall a good place.

It was all good except the lady[name removed] that runs the office, she was terrible to work with, always in a "meeting" and never returned texts or emails when trying to get the billing done... the rest of the staff was great, they took very good care of my mil. I would recommend them.. oh and we were very disappointed that we never heard or received any sympathy from the or the staff from hospice that worked with us.. only the 2 ladies that were working the night she passed and the hospice guy that pronounced her passing they were the only ones

What we like the most about Brookdale Sussex, is that it is small with less than 25 residents; very homey feeling and the staff really care about the residents

We toured with Savanah Cottage of Lakeland and their staff is best informed on memory care. There were renovations in progress. I did not want Mom there in the interim while all of that was happening.

We chose Savannah Cottage because my dad had very specific needs that a lot of others places were either unwilling or unable to accommodate. We toured several places and we felt that this was going to be the best fit for him, we knew it was the place the second we walked in. I would give the staff much higher than a 5 if I could, they were amazing. I seriously cannot say enough about them. All of the women were wonderful, caring, and patient with the residents. I would most definitely recommend them to others looking.

Savannah Cottage of Lakeland hands down definitely had the best trained staff for memory care out of all of the different facilities that we looked at - I was very impressed. At the time that we toured, they were going through some major renovations, so it was kind of chaotic and things were run down. It seemed like a great place.

I was disappointed in the care my loved one received during their short stay. My loved one was supposed to be getting bathed twice a week and the community was supposed to be doing the laundry for my loved one. I ended up having to ask for this to be done. The community wasn't able to accommodate the dietary restrictions for my loved one. They would end up giving my loved one sandwiches to eat.

I would highly recommend Savannah Grand of Sarasota to others for their loved ones. I feel the staff have a genuine concern for the residents that are coming in to the community. The communication has been very good with the family, if we have any questions or concerns about our loved one.

All in all it was ok, my parents didn't love the assisted living environment so everything would be bad. The cost was good, but again my parents wanted to get back home.

The main thing we like about Savannah Court is how friendly and helpful the staff seem and that was something we wanted for our loved one

This was a nice place but my problem was that my loved one did not feel comfortable with her roommate. She asked for a change and they took to long to react. She got to mad and decided to leave. If they would have reacted faster she may have stayed. Overall it was nice it was just this part that didn't work.

We are very happy there. The people are great. They take very good care of my mom. She just went on a community outing today and had ball. She can keep her cat there, and that keeps her form getting so lonely. We're very happy with them.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all and they took their time with our family. I would recommend touring this community
