They staff are great! Very caring. My mom ended up hospitalized and upon her return [name removed] welcomed her and then without any prompting returned with a cup of tea. That was above and beyond. All of the staff are like this. The facility is kept clean. It is a small place that takes a maximum if 15 residents. It is tucked away in a wooded setting off the highway. Deer and other wildlife can often be seen walking around the backyard. Unfortunately they did have a few issues with a couple clients that were hostile and have been rehomed. It was dealt with in a reasonable amount of time. I do not feel it reflects badly on them. I had visited different times with those clients and was shocked when after being there a couple of months they started acting out. LBD is such an insidious disease. My mom has it. I felt the staff handled the situation well.

The rooms are much larger than many other places. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Mom made friends right away. She likes the food also. She was afraid she wouldn't like it. They are willing to make you something else if you don't want it. Its in a quiet area. Also it was more affordable than many others.

The new administration have make lots of improvements in the condition of the facility. More human. We are so greatful for all the changes made. Mom loves her magic room and the stuff is so friendly that she feels safe and happy.

The care is excellent. The tenured team knows what they are doing, and they treat everyone with kindness and respect. We feel completely at peace knowing our loved one is safe, happy and well cared for.

Choosing an assisted living community can be hard, but Brookdale Sussex Made it easy. From day one, we could feel the love and dedication of the staff. They take the time to really know each resident- their likes, dislikes, routines, and personality- which makes it feel so personal and comfortable.

My wife was there from [dates removed]. She recently passed away from the complications of Alzheimer's. The entire staff has been wonderful the entire time. From the Executive Director, [name removed], to each of the resident assistants. Some going even beyond the call of duty showing love and support for my wife, especially [names removed]. The facility is always clean. The residents are always marvelously cared for. I never pre-announced my visits, and not one time did I discover a negative situation when I arrived. These past few days, as my wife began her transition, the entire staff, day, night, weekend, personnel, coupled with the wonderful people of Cornerstone Hospice made it so much easier for me and my wife. God bless each of them. I would highly recommend Savannah Cottage for anyone in need of a memory care assisted living facility for their loved one. A solid 5!

Absolutely Wonderful new Management on Board. This place has turned around here in the last few months. My mom says new staff and manager are great. They must have gotten bought out. Big Difference when you walk in the door.

My mother lives at this community. It was very difficult reaching the decision to move her in, but we had to for her safety as she was beginning to wander. The resident care Director spoke with us for two hours. He went over what we could expect, what my mom’s routine would be like, and things that may or may not happen to be prepared for while my Mother would be adjusting to a new place. He even lined up her own physical therapist to work with her one on one at the community at no cost to us!! This is a tough decision for anyone to make but it’s so much better to make it when you have a caring professional looking out for you and your loved one. Thank you to this community for everything they’ve done for me and my mother.

It’s been such a rewarding experience volunteering at Brookdale Sussex! Whether it be playing Bingo with the residents, dying Easter Eggs or singing holiday carols, fun is had by the entire community. I love the atmosphere that feels so much like home.

The common areas, dining, etc. was very clean. The cleanliness of my loved one's apartment fell a little bit short of our expectations. The staff are friendly, engaging, and they treat the residents as real people, as their friends. They don't act fake. They genuinely care about the residents and doing their job the best they can.

The staff at Savannah Court of Brandon were wonderful, they were the nicest out of any place that we toured with. The facility itself was older and looked more run down. The room sizes were also on the smaller side. The main reason we did not choose this facility was because both my parents had terrible experiences over at Brandon Medical Center which is the hospital right down the road. If anything were to happen, that would be where they send them and we did not want that.

Overall it has been a great experience and we would definitely recommend Savannah Court of Brandon to other families. The staff members there are so friendly, caring and very attention to the residents needs. They keep an open line of communication which we really appreciate. We are so grateful that they are there for our loved one.

I picked this community, because it was a close location to visit my loved one, and it is a smaller community. They treat my loved one very well.

We lived out of state and once we move our Grandparents to memory care it was important to have great communication and feel informed as if we are there. The Administrator I must say restore my faith in healthcare for elderly. Thanks to [name removed] for always communicating with us your professionalism and most importantly your compassion. Please thank the staff for providing great care. The activity lady for alway keeping it upbeat and fun for them. Please also ensure to tell the chef that we all miss his cooking. Maybe we should just come there for thanksgiving dinner instead :) We will keep it short. We love the community . We picked you because it’s a smaller community, higher staff to patients ratio, serene cottage home feeling, great and tons of natural light, the FOOD, it’s party every day there, the connections with the staff and residents and we did everything online from out of state. We opted for the furniture package until we come come down to help move the home. GREAT For us

Our experience with Ramsey Woods has been really good so far, the people are absolutely perfect, pleasant and so nice to you. They pay attention to the people there and all of their needs, the nurses are on call through phone or video chat 24/7. The cooks try to make what people like and all the food is homemade. They do make a variety in case there is something a resident doesn't like and they will go up and speak with the residents about the meals to see if there needs to be any improvements. The pace is very very clean, there is a beautiful fireplace, there is a garden in the backyard that backs up to the woods where the residents can plant flowers and vegetables. They are always encouraging the residents to participate in activities, there is even a salon there for the ladies. During the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas you can come visit your families and they will make you a holiday dinner. The staff members are amazing and all wear masks, and when visitors come they are all tested.

We love Savannah Cottage to bits and pieces. We moved our loved one here after a bad experience at another facility and it has been wonderful. All of the staff are fantastic.

I will keep it short and simple. When I started looking this was a nightmare all the call from every community at once. I got a call from [name removed] and his first words where “ I am here to help and make this easier with a contact system that works best for you and that is less stressful my I have a moment of you time I am with Savannah Cottage Memory Care. He didn’t try to sell me anything in that moment he just listened and heard my needs and prior experiences. The community is all memory care, access for outside independently to the relaxing outside courtyard. It’s small no stairs , long term staff, strong Administration and Knowledgeable nurse. Happy Hours are so fun with [name removed] and [name removed] makes Book Clubs so innovative to include all walks of memory care patients. I have no complaints [name removed] the chef is amazing .Try the cookies they are made from scratch YUM

The staff members are a 5 plus, they are so friendly and we are getting ready to move our loved one in and she is really looking forward to the arts and crafts. Before we even toured this community we wanted her to go there, it just seemed really nice.

They are very helpful at this community. My loved one really likes the meals. They have a lot of activities even though my loved one does not always participate. I checked other places and they were all pretty much in the same price range. I would recommend them. Also all the staff are trained for memory care.
