They have poor communication throughout the staff. They need to improve on it.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. BrightStar Senior Living seemed like a very nice community. It was a new building, and all of the furnishings seemed well appointed and modern. We looked at the memory care section, and I thought the level of care looked very impressive. They had a very high caregiver to resident ratio. It was one of the more expensive options we saw, but the level of care and quality of the facility looked top notch.

They have done pretty well so far. I would rate them very highly. Mom really likes the food, I would give that a five as well. They seemed to have a better price than the others I considered. I am happy with them so far.

We really love BrightStar Senior Living. It is a really small facility where my mother can get good special attention. The staff there is really wonderful. The only area for improvement I have noticed (which is very minor) is that when we visit in the evening, sometimes it is hard to get out of there. They have a security system in place (which is good, of course) which causes us to have to hunt down a staff member to let us out when we are ready to leave, and that can take a while sometimes. Other than that, everything has been great and we would highly recommend them.

Best kept secret in South Milwaukee, Oak Creek and Cudahy . Quaint, homey, caring living community. Mom is there now and it seems the workers there truly care. Always lots of activities. P.S. The food is always delicious!!

My mother has not complained about anything at all since being at Artisan Senior Living Lake Geneva. They have really taken her under her wings. She enjoys the company there, goes out with them on occasion, and is generally just very happy. They have been really great and have taken a lot of stress out of our lives.

Brightstar has an amazing staff hat really cares about the community of people who live there. Their programs and outings are well planned and very enjoyable. Families are always welcome. I never have to worry about my mom, and thats wonderful.

I am so happy with the facility and especially the wonderful care my husband receives at Brightstar. From the director and nurse down through the CNA's and housekeeping, everyone treats my husband like family. The devotion to his care and well being is amazing. Spectacular!

I feel very comfortable having my sister there. I am very impressed with this community. Lots of activities, field trips, great food, wonderful care, beautiful setting, very friendly and caring staff. Nurse Robyn is awesome. Bonnie is awesome. Activity director Maria is awesome. I like the size, small with good care ratio! Like the apartment, and everyone has their own bathroom.

Loved it. The rooms are brand new and nice. The director and employees very nice, very professional, and very helpful. A little nervous about things being priced separately, as I don't want any surprises. I think my mom could be very happy here.

My Mom ended up spending the last two years of her life here, and I can't praise the Memory Care staff enough. They were kind, informative, caring and compassionate while keeping Mom's dignity intact. Her concerns and our concerns were met with a caring and dignified response. While we (of course) all wish our loved ones could spend their entire lives at home, it does not always work that way, and the homelike atmosphere of this establishment eased that transition. The caregivers at all levels had great patience and treated the residents as family. The food was great, the food staff considerate, and my appreciation is endless for the staff at all levels.

They do a really good job taking care of their residents there, I was real happy with the care there. She's always been passive in activity participation but they had so many more things going on there that it was easier to get her to do things. They also have a very good program with interenerational activities and my mother loved the little kids coming in.

What a wonderful place. And Darian is just terrific to work with. Definitely one of our good optins.

I toured this place. I thought it was very nice. Home cooked meals in a kitchen that could be in your own home. The memory care unit was attached right to the assisted living unit. They were seperated by an allarmed door. And the price for both of them was something we could pay without having to sell of f everything. The only real draw back was the distance from where we live to come and visit.

Toured when looking the first time. I did like this place and would consider it. Not as convenient as other places.

When we were looking for a new place to move my mom, cost was a factor. We really liked this community. Her apartment is in the remodeled wing and it is supposed to have extra staff available for the population. The communication has been great, although, due to the current situation, we would like if they would put out a weekly newsletter with building updates. We have only had limited ability to visit, but when we were there the staff were nice and friendly.

I’m a former resident at Artisan/Lk. Geneva. I’m happy at home now, but will Miss Sooo many Amazing friends. That includes Faculty. I mostly resided in Wicker. [Name removed], I will miss you the most. I love you All....PS...[name removed], the Food Was Great!!

I ended up moving my Father here because he would be closer to me. This facility is still new and they aren’t filled to capacity yet. The staff is still minimal but they are very attentive. This community is beautiful and there is a nice wooded area behind the facility. They have a wonderful back yard with a large gated area for walking. They offer a lot of activities like coloring, games, and music. The only thing I wish they could do was give my dad more physical activities. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Artisan Senior Living was my favorite from all of the facilities that I toured. The community was clean and well maintained. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming, we will consider it when my husband is ready to make a move.
