The community is very well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly. The administrative staff has been very helpful and is always willing to talk and keeps us well informed. The activities are well planned and numerous and the AD encourages all to participate. Mom really loves the home cooking. Clients are given personal attention and treated with respect.

The staff here is great and they are very attentive to the residents. It is a small, tight knit community, so there is a family atmosphere. The facility is modern and nicely decorated and always clean.

Seemed like a nice, clean assisted living community.

In my job I serve the senior population so am familiar with several good communities in the area. But none were better suited to my mother in laws care needs more than artisan. She received true TLC there and was more engaged than she had been in a long time.

All is going well at Sterling House. I'm satisfied with the services, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, and services they offer.

I am the primary care giver for my 89 year mother. I needed a place to take her for a week while I went on a short vacation. We looked at four places in our neighborhood and decided on Bright Star. Bright Star was not the cheapest, in fact it was the most expensive, but the facility was new, well appointed and the staff were helpful and attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend Bright Star to anyone looking for long stay or respite. We will definitely be coming back.

Our family member has only been there about one month, but our early impressions are very good! The facility is clean, spacious and nicely appointed. The staff is warm and welcoming; we have observed genuine caring for residents. We are impressed with the variety of activities and services offered. Our family member has adjusted well to brand new surroundings.

It was all good except the lady[name removed] that runs the office, she was terrible to work with, always in a "meeting" and never returned texts or emails when trying to get the billing done... the rest of the staff was great, they took very good care of my mil. I would recommend them.. oh and we were very disappointed that we never heard or received any sympathy from the or the staff from hospice that worked with us.. only the 2 ladies that were working the night she passed and the hospice guy that pronounced her passing they were the only ones

What we like the most about Brookdale Sussex, is that it is small with less than 25 residents; very homey feeling and the staff really care about the residents

The staff are very friendly and attentive to the residents. The facility decorates for holidays and has a homey atmosphere. The activity director coordinated a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for the residents and their families as well as a very nice Christmas party. Everyone always feels so welcome when visiting the facility and the admin staff are always very attentive to any questions or concerns we may have.

The staff is wonderful. They're friendly, they're attentive. My mother loves them. They make the place feel more homey.. I have, myself, hosted a couple of activities, at sage, and had a big turnout, and they all had fun. I think that they are too ready to accept a negative response from the residents without just getting them to at least participate to try the activity. A lot of the residents do have dementia and their first response to everything is no, Just so they can stay in their comfort zone.

it was a beautiful place and a nice location. I just wish they would of had locked alarmed doors for better security in the memory care unit.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all and they took their time with our family. I would recommend touring this community

Nice place, staff friendly. More impressed with the renovation of new 1st floor memory care area in another building, which will be brighter, more amenities and fresher looking

The staff has done a wonderful job taking care of my mom during these difficult times with being shut down because of the virus. I only wish I would have been able to see my mom more.

We came to see the community for a tour and the person who was our guide did a good job and they were able to answer the questions I had and did well letting us see the community. My mom thought the room was too small for her. She wanted an apartment that she could call her own, not just a room. We had to look at another option.

My mother is still taking some time to adjust to her move into this community. However I do feel she is safe, and in good hands. I do feel comfortable with her move to this facility, I have no problem with it. It is a beautiful community with kind people. They provide good meals, and nice activities for the residents. Hopefully with some more time my mother becomes comfortable with this community, and I would recommend it to my friends, and family.

This looked like a very nice community when I visited.The people I met were nice and knowledgable. They seem to offer some nice activities. The community we chose had the larger room we were looking for.

Everything has worked out well for my husband with his move to this community. They are taking good care of him, and his needs. The community looks nice when I come to visit him. They do a good job with the cleanliness. They provide meals, and good activities for the residents. The experience is going well for us in this community, and I would recommend it.

I have no complaints on how things are going for my dad since he made the move into this community. The staff have been very helpful with the transition and I am comfortable with the care they have been providing him. Overall things seem to be going well and he is enjoying himself since he made the move. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.
