My mom was living here until they kept putting the squeeze on for more money. She needs more care. I can understand the need for more care however, very basic needs are not being met. In addition, “in house” doctor determines level of care. I find that interesting and self serving. They are greedy and don’t work with you. Under the beauty of the facility lies a dark underbelly of greed and the director is never around. Only a coward hides and has his staff deal with complaints about quality and cost of care and service.

If you have dementia they will keep medicating you until you are a zombie and just stay quiet. They are too understaffed to help anyone. I would NOT recommend them at all.

My mother lived there for several years and recently moved out after the rent was raised repeatedly and services, staff, amenities and activities were cut to the point of being unsafe and detrimental. Theft off porches and patios was common place, rides to critical appointments cancelled regularly and finally stopped all together and the food service became awful with rotten lettuce in salads, stale bread and under and overcooked food served at most meals. Just not the place you want your loved one to live out their golden years.

Lifestream only cares about money. They raised rents on January 1, 2024 and I had only been there a couple of weeks. Social security doesn’t go far and this increase really hit hard. Just recently they started renting units at much lower prices than what current residents were paying. Also they were allowing smoking on the property even though the rental agreement says it’s non smoking. It’s not enforced. Main office administration don’t return calls to residents that leave messages or put requests in writing. I’ve moved out and would not recommend Lifestream to anyone. I’m sure the newer residents will see a price increase as soon as they get fewer vacancies.

I visited my sister at this facility and noticed how wonderful it was. It was clean, updated, inviting and the food was very good!!....All the people and staff were very friendly and helpful. I noticed they had lots of activities for the residences to enjoy. I would recommend this facility and will rate it as A+.

If you enjoy being ignored by MANAGEMENT, then this place is for you! Starts at the top with the executive director, [names removed] in Memory Care. My Mom was in Memory Care, and did NOT get quality care! The entire staff, with the exception of 2 med-techs, [names removed], were the only staff that cared! Dirty and smelly ALWAYS! VERY expensive too! They charge extra for any little thing they can to squeeze more money out of you. When we left it was up to [amount removed] for crappy care! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!

Sadly the place is short on help and cant provide proper care. Care helpers were not around in one area. In another a helper was reading a magazine ignoring seniors.. A wild senior was screaming like a banshee and was yelling threat. There was a scary older patient lurching around and pissed on the kitchen floor. A young male staff member said that'is normal behavior and management knows. Seniors in wheelchairs and passed out in chairs is not being active or providing memory care. A few patients looked malnourished, and unkempt. It does not fit the online profile. Definitely not a place for my mother

The memory care unit is awful. They are terrible about intake procedures. They do not care for the dementia patients well at all. I do not recommend this facility for memory care.

I personally had to assist my neighbor tenant at Sundial Assisted living back to the property. He has dementia and walked off the property because the employees do not watch the tenants carefully. This is the third time I witnessed it and others who live nearby have also witnessed tenants getting lost. Police were called twice that I witnessed, and the neighbors around the area were looking for a female tenant who actually was lost but never left the property, she was outside in the back. Do not let your family member live at Sundial Assisted living in Redding, CA, this is a very dangerous place for a dementia person to live.

This was horrible and would never place my loved one here. It felt like a looney bin.

I do not know how the other Pacifica facilities are, but we found this one to not be up to par. It was a disappointing experience for us and we were not satisfied. There was a lot that was said up front that was not carried through with during the stay here.

I went to visit at 1:30pm, and asked the front desk if we could visit in the main lounge area. [name removed], the receptionist said that area was only for Assisted Living. [name removed], the new MC Director, came to the desk and said we could. She said my friend had eaten her lunch & desert and was ready for me. I went to the MC side there she sat, with her head on her chest, white as a ghost, her food untouched. One of the aids said my friend had been "playing with her food" for 1 1/2 hours. Her food was untouched. I have pictures. I asked if we could eat in the Activity Room , she said no because food sticks to the carpet. There is no carpet in the room. The aid came in and tried to make my friend sit down and friend got hysterical;. I told the aid I could get her to sit, which I did. My friend kept mumbling that she didn't want "those ladies in here". Her head was down and her hands were on either side of her face like she was trying to protect herself. I have videos .

Great support staff. Poor management. Meds late. Food service delivery late. Caregivers amazing. But admin allows miscommunication and problems to develop due to that. Admin not receptive to family needs. Admin arrogant. Hospice concerned admin inept. Find somewhere else.

The facility is nice enough to live and the people to begin with were friendly. But they kept pushing us to sign a contract so that we would get an amount off of the first month. During that time my mother had some problems with her heart so we told them we would let them know how the appointment went and then decide. We decided that we did not need to move them and I kept the facility updated on all of this the whole time. They are still billing us even after we told them that we were not going to be moving them in. We had not moved any of their things in here or even set a move in date.

This is the worst place ever to send the elderly - they will talk a great talk but cannot live up to expectations. The food is the absolute worst, cleanliness is terrible, and the care givers do not care about the quality of care they give to the elderly. From a dirty dining room and silverware, to mishandling of medications, to slow responses when called, to even letting people lay in soiled garments because they would not take them to the restroom. I drove 16 hours straight to rescue my parents from this place. The management is more concerned about putting on a "good show" to new people, that they do not take care of the current residents. Tenants Beware!

the apartments are nice, but the staff is very lazy, what you can expect here is [Removed] errors, excessive falls with fractures, lazy staff that will ignore your loved one going so far as too yell at them for needing to go to the bathroom, not being sent to the hospital unless staff nurse is on duty if not they will have to wait sometimes for days before being sent out with major change of conditions. the director of resident care has no idea what she is doing, such as telling non medical staff to give glucose tabs when a resident is complaining of symptoms of hyper glycemia, stay away from this place if you care about your family at all. horrible horrible place, [Removed]and lazy. If I could rate them negative stars for quality of care I would.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE< avoid this place at all cost! staff is lazy and uncaring, they treat the patients like furniture no as people. The director of resident care is completely ignorant about healthcare. The patients are not being changed or given showers. I have seen patients being dragged away from the dinning room while they are still trying to eat with staff not even bothering to ask if they are done and WANT to leave. The only people who seem to know what they are doing and actually care about the patients is the director of activities ([Removed]) and the staff nurse ([Removed]). I have talked with many other family's of the patients and they have similar complaints about their loved ones not being changed or given showers, being given the wrong meds, falling and getting hurt. Avoid this place at all cost.

Woodmont's administration staff was wonderful during our intial tour/interview of their facility and admission process. All the ancillary staff seemed very caring towards my father. However.... approximately 3 weeks in to my father's stay at Woodmont he fell & shattered his hip and required emergency ambulance transport to the local hospital. We recognized that he was at risk for falls & placed no blame on the facility. However.... not a single person from this facility called my family to check on my father's status!! Days turned into weeks, NO ONE would communicate with us - emails were not returned, phone messages were not returned. When I personally went to the facility to pick up some of my father's personal items - only the housekeeper inquired about my father's status. We eventually had to wait 90 minutes to meet with the administrator to discuss our cancellation of my father's contract & his response was a joke - he was more concerned about determining how much money we owed the facility than about my father. Needless to say the facility actually ended up owing my father $ because he had prepaid for entire month & contract was voided before 30 days! The administration at this facility turned out to be the exact opposite of what they professed to be during the prelim phase - I still can't believe NO ONE called to check the status of my father!!!

We removed our parents from this facility because they felt as if management was simply treating them, as well as most of their employees as morons. Upper management had their picks as to which residents they acknowledged, comforted, or even showed concern to. Most of the time you could find Director [Removed] along with Dining Service Director [Removed] out back smoking and running down any employee and selected paying resident. My mother informed me of what she'd overheard while exercising around the building. They had also informed me of the rate at which the Afro-American staff is terminated. I found it alarming. It seems to me that Corporate would noticed the high turnover rate and stepped in. But, no such luck. The month of August alone three of my parents friends and previous neighbors moved out too. They have loyal employees leaving and transferring to other properties. Residents with years in Heritage Woods, whom loved to call it home, leaving. Dedicated employees with more than 15 years tenure released without probable cause. Dedicated newly hired staff fired as well. What may work for some, most definitely didn't hold well with my parents.
