It was a really nice place. It was kept very nice. It was cheery and all the staff was friendly and happy all of the time. They had 3 outdoor places that I could go with my mom and sit and talk. The grounds are very well manicured and they have a good activities program. I'd give them a 4 on quality of food. It's good but not quite as good as where my mom is now. We moved her because of the cost. It was $4760 a month and I'm getting ready to retire myself so the cost became too much.

It was nice but it just wasn't the right match for what we needed at the time.

I liked it but my sister takes insulin shots 4x a day and she has a tendency to bend needles if the does it herself so she needs soemone to do it for her. They didn't have anyone to giver her shots on weekends so I would have to go over there every weekend to do the shots. They were very good, it was just the shots.

Friendliness is off the chart, it's pretty pricey and I've been over several times when my mother was out in public and her clothes were on backwards and that really upset me. There have been a couple of times when it smelled like urine but I have to be fair and say that that was only a couple of times in the past 7 months that my moms been there. I cant say enough about how great the staff is, the director, Leslie is AWESOME and they have so many activities. They really cater to keeping the clients busy and they have quality entertainment as far as making every effort to include the families and keep them recreationally busy. The food also is always good as far as nutrition and variety. For the most part, I'm very happy with them!

I understand this is a good place for Alhzheimer's care. Not ready yet.

Alzheimers focused; small, nice looking

Montessori style of care. One of top 2 for memory care. Great rooms, active program. Hard to see anyone at same level as Art.

Good location. Smaller facility--not corporate run so not as stringent on rules/costs. Willing to disciss price. Nice outdoor space with tons of bird feeders. WW2 vets with a bulletin board decicated to vets. Very small apartments. Pets OK and would screen in patio to prevent pet from gettting loose. Residents appeared to be very cultured/educated.

Woodmont had a suitable apartment available sooner than the others. They are a troubled property (also the oldest in Tallahassee) which is undergoing a rehabilitation process including new staff, interior renovation (plus a new roof), upgrades to personnel and operations. We were impressed with the staff and were willing to put our faith in their "comeback". Especially since we are actively involved by frequently visiting my parents. Since so few residents live there now, my parents are well known to the staff. However, because there are few residents there isn't much social stimulation or variety of activities available, which my mom needs and misses. She is high-functioning and is only in a progressive care facility because of my Dad's need for assistance, supportive staffing, and potentially memory care down the line if he declines to a level where mom can't manage. He's doing well there with the low stimulation. He's consistently sleeping better than he was before. So it's a temporary compromise situation for them, and they are on a waiting list for another community which has more amenities and social opportunities but a long waiting list.

This community was nice but we did not like the fact that all the rooms did not have bathrooms in them.

We chose Pacifica Senior Living because of the affordability of the facility. The room sizes here are adequate for his needs. The nursing staff is very friendly when they call. My dad is happy and they seemed to figure out how to take good care of him. I would recommend for people who cannot afford to take care of their loved ones.

Somerford was the first facility I visited in late Spring of 2018 due to recommendations by acquaintances and Place for Mom. The Director of Sales and associates were very helpful during the search for my husband's placement, taking the time to give me a tour and answering my many questions, At that time, my husband did not qualify for residency due to an on-going treatment of his condition. As soon as treatment was concluded, he was able to be transferred. I felt Somerford was perfect with the friendliness of staff, cleanliness of the home, well=maintained surroundings and not having a huge number of residents where care of individuals could be compromised, Today, I am very satisfied the choice to place him at Somerford was the right choice,

I am doing okay here, I still get around and drive myself and I have a nice 1 bedroom with a kitchenette. I do go to the dining room for my meals but the food is not the best and I visits with some of the other residents while I am there. There are a lot of amenities offered for those who like to join in. And they do allow pets.

LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Youngtown was a very nice tour. The staff was friendly and provided us with the information regarding what the community would offer to the residents. The meal plan that they offered wasn't what we were looking for. We chose another community that was a better fit for our budget.

Everything was very nice at this community. It was very clean and nice to look at.The staff was friendly and welcoming on the tour they were very helpful. However, we did find the community to be more expensive than other ones we had previously toured.

This community was excellent and seemed fancy. Everything looked very good, no problems. I noticed they had extra amenities for the residents but for our case, that would not be used by my parent. They are for residents who are more better.

I have no complaints about how things went for my mother and I during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone it was just not the place for my mom.
