We toured Summer breeze when searching for my uncle. It was a nice community but a little too far from the area we wanted to stay in.

This facility was suitable for memory care. We chose the Pacifica in Modesto as we felt it was better suited for my dad and closer to home.

My mom is doing great as she is moving into this community. She feels very good about all that is here. Since we are still moving she has not been able to participate in much but she loves the people. So far they are friendly and welcoming.

Nice large facility. Tour was very nice. Good interaction between staff and residents at dining area and as residents made their way from activity room to the dining room. Rooms well laid out with ample storage. Outdoor common areas well kept and looked to be a nice place for a stroll. Price will be a deciding factor.

As far as I know, the staff has been very accommodating and friendly to my loved one. She is settled in very well. The place is clean and so far we have no complaints.

The independent living side was very small, this community was more dedicated to assisted living. I wanted somewhere with a bigger group of independent living residents. The architecture was gorgeous and the woman was very frank about everything.

We toured this community. We liked that it was a smaller community. It was very clean and taken care of. The staff was very nice and helpful to what we were looking They have activities that would have been offered. We would recommend this community for good care and value that we saw offered.

This place was really good with my dad I felt. They just were unable to give him the care that he needed. They did good with getting him transitioned. He was enjoying the meals and getting to know some of the residents.

I've been very pleased with some ford place until today when I realized my brother had not changed his shirt for 4 days or more and it was not even his shirt nor had he had a shower for over a week because he would not accept a shower from a woman. it seems the aides are rather inexperienced in dealing with these problems and today there was only one aide in the garden area for 14 patients and she was supposed to have the day off.p

My father is doing very well here. I really like the fact that the staff was friendly and was able to meet all the requested we needed. This community is very well known in the community. We found the community to be very clean and taken care of. The meals are excellent. My brother is offered alot of various activities. My family recommends this for a great value and great care for loved ones.

Our family was introduced to Royal Gardens through senior advisor [Removed] at A Place for Mom. Dana was a godsend to us at a very stressful time. Her compassion, knowledge, and quick response were invaluable to our family. [Removed], the executive director at Royal Gardens, cheerfully welcomed Mom in assisted living in this nice community. He assured us that Mom would get the best of care so that she could maximize her quality of life. The help that Mom has been receiving is great, and we are very grateful.

A nice community. a new and modern community. Seemed like they had alot of active people. They charged extra for physical therapy. Patients were monitored differently then what we wanted. It felt like more of a apartment experience. The staff was great, but this has more of a modern feeling then a homey community. They do offer great activities to help stay active. We would over all recommend this community to other families.

My husband is doing well here at this community. They have a good staff, I know he being cared for well. They do a good job keeping the community well-kept, and clean. They have activities available for the resident, and they have new activities director. He is pleased with the food, the meals are nice. I know he is safe and in good hands. Overall I would recommend this community.

Things are going fine with my mom at The Gardens of Sun City. The staff are friendly every time I go to visit her. She is in the memory care unit. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. They keep the community well taken care of and I would recommend it.

This is a good community for my niece. The rooms and grounds are well kept. The staff is excellent and they attend to all her needs. She loves the meals and eats the great food that they have to offer. A great value for a nice home.

Pleasantly surprised by Royal Gardens, so much so, that we decided it's the right place for dad. Marshall, the Administrator, has been so kind and accommodating during such a difficult time for our family. My dad will be moving in soon and I'll post an update once he's been there for some time. My siblings and I are confident that dad will be happy at Royal Gardens because he'll retain some independence and will have his own room. All the staff I've met so far have been helpful and warm. The facility is nothing glamorous, but it's clean and well-kept.

My mother has been living at Paintbrush in a lovely apartment for a month now. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It's nice to be welcomed with a friendly smile each time my family and I visit. Facility is very clean and well maintained. Food is great too! It's nice to be able to have a nice meal with mom in the dining room.

There have been a few hiccups, but we are working through them. I would recommend others to be involved and be a second set of eyes for their loved one to make sure things don't fall through the cracks. There are a lot of activities, my Mom does join in some, but could join in a little more. The food is average. My Mom could use some encouragement and to be checked on to make sure she is eating her meals. I don't have a lot to compare this community to, but they seem very eager to cooperate.

I have really enjoyed having my mother at Paintbrush Assisted Living, she's doing well. However, she is diabetic and they have not provided a diabetic food menu item for her. Her Dr has it on her orders as well that she needs to be on a diabetic diet. There is another resident having the same issue as well. There are not very many activities, especially in the evening. After the activities director leaves for the day, the residents are very bored. I think this place could use a dietitian and evening activities.

Things are going fine. So far, I do not have any complaints or problems with the staff or the facility at Brookdale Sellwood. Things are going really good so far.
