Older facility. Homey, rather than resort style. No in room showers. A separate shower room is provided. Scheduled bathing routines planned, room heated. Facility was Designed by a Neurologist specializing in Altimers and Denintia care. Residents can wander without getting lost. Offers plenty, the most I’d seen of outdoor space. Pet friendly. Affordably priced. Offers no off site trsnsportation or scheduled group tours. Nurses with care hours daily, and always one one on call. Offers, visiting onsite medical care.

Quiet down home town. Lots to offer for the retirement community. Great hospital.

The employees are very good at their various jobs but my only criticism is that the menus are not as fine as when I moved here five years ago, but they are planned by the large corporation. Introduction of new residents was written with the activity calendar, but is no longer Needed! There is a large environment of employees.

This was a second tour for me and this time I had my visiting daughter with me. We saw some of the larger apartments which 2 had not seen before. We had a delicious lunch in the dining room and chatted with a friend who lives in the community. My daughter and 2 were both impressed with the completeness and cleanliness of the whole residence and the friendliness of the staff. I know a number of people who live in Pacifica and they feel they've made a good choice.

Loved the assisted living area, but when we walked into the memory care unit it stunk like urine..... ugh. Im going to keep looking, maybe a revisit here too.

The first part of my experience has been shaky here. The staff member who is in charge of admitting all of the residents wasn’t that helpful. She was promising things that she shouldn’t have, but the facility is standing behind her word. When it came to the transfer of my Father, it was botched. She was supposed to make all of the arrangements and when the day came, he wasn’t moved. The greyest thing about this whole procedure is the communication. This is not something we do often at all. The facility needs to be a little more thorough and upfront on what is actually covered in the cost of his care. The person who admits people will make the facility a success or a failure. Since the incident of my father not getting moved on his expected date, everything is going fairly smooth. There is, unfortunately, a learning curve to the process. We didn’t know that the facility charged an outrageous amount if they have to supply him diapers, bed pads, and gloves. So that was difficult to figure out at first on how much to order him so we don’t get charged a large fee. This is our first time doing this and this was all just thrown at us. The staff is very friendly and helpful though. There is never a point where they are not easily accessible. My father said that the food is superior to previous facilities that he’s been in. The chef is very into his career and takes it seriously. He is always open to talking with the residents and taking notes on what they want. The grounds are nice and well kept. You can tell they're always attended to. Every time I visit him, there’s nothing dirty lying around. The room itself is adequate in size and it’s a studio apartment. I would recommend this community.

I love this community. The view is amazing. People are usually very nice and helpful. Pacifica is very helpful and always bring lovely gifts. We appreciate them.

My mother is receiving excellent care. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My mother is only complaint has been the food which has improved. Food is still rarely salty.

The nursing staff has worked. Very well with me concerning medication management.

The staff and administration at this facility are wonderful and very friendly. The building can use some work to make it the best in tour.

Somorford is wonderful for my mother. We looked at several other communities, but chose Somerford for its small size. My mother needs memory care, so I wanted to be sure she would be well taken care of and wouldn’t get lost in one of the larger places where the staff can be spread a little thin. My mother’s bedroom is beautiful and she has made such great friends. There are many activities for the residents like prayers, a TV room, bands, and singalongs. I’m very satisfied with my mother’s care, and how happy she is at Somerford. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

Employees are kind and respectful and thoughtful

I have no complaints of how things had went during my tour of this community for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions that I had for them in detail. I liked that they had an open floor plan that was easy to navigate through. Overall it was a pleasant experience just was not the right location for us in the end decision.

We liked most of what we saw and experienced on this tour. [Removed]was a great hostess and she went over and above what we expected. We decided that we could live at Cypress Court.

I'm shocked to read some of these negative reviews; my mother has lived at Woodmont for over 4 years and we've never had a minutes trouble! Management & Care Staff are always kind and helpful. Please go and visit for yourself, and you'll sure feel all the love that they give to anyone who enters there doors.

I had a tour with the community and they were not impressive at all. The upkeep is not what I would have wanted. They were not suitable for my mom.

If I wasn't sure about choosing the right place I am now especially after the hurricane. The staff was very professional and attentive to the residents. They had an education plan in place which relieved my concern about having to go get her if necessary. I am so happy that I made the right choice. Mom is happy and content here. She likes the residents and loves the staff. They are very friendly and nice. I have eaten here several different time and I have found the food to be very good all the time. They keep the community looking good very clean and well kept.

We toured The Gardens of Sun City. The staff was friendly and they gave a nice presentation of their community. They also provided us lunch at our visit. It was a clean and well-kept community. This community was our second choice. We chose another community that was closer to our family members.
